Cranberry Soda 6

[13:57]	`GM	[The scene has not changed. Meredith, Karan, Agamedes, and Jenna are hanging around the hotel lounge & bar, having just met after a rather tense phone conversation.]
[13:59]	BigSis	"So what can I get... you... all, aren't 21 yet. Rrrright."
[14:00]	BigSis	quickly realizes a flaw in her master plan of reminiscing over drinks at the bar.
[14:00]	Meredith	"Can I have a virgin pina colada?"
[14:01]	BigSis	motions to the bartender, who nods and starts mixing it up.
[14:02]	BigSis	"Tyro, anything? Karan?"
[14:02]	BigSis	"If you order water I'll be throwing it in your face. Friendly note there~"
[14:03]	Westinghouse	"Rules are for royalty too, eh? I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Cherry soda, would you?"
[14:04]	`GM	Bartender with goatee: "Straight from bottled, or mixed?"
[14:05]	Westinghouse	"Mm, mixed." Tyro crosses her legs.
[14:07]	Balcora	"Raspberry soda, here. Bottled."
[14:08]	`GM	[The bartender eventually serves everyone their drinks and, seeing that everyone appears settled for now, exits the bar to clean up some tables, as the lounge is nearing the end of serving hours.]
[14:08]	Meredith	"Mm, tasty."
[14:08]	BigSis	swirls her blackberry and vodka.
[14:08]	BigSis	"So. Russia, mmm?"
[14:09]	BigSis	directs the question at Tyro, though not actually looking at her.
[14:10]	Westinghouse	"That's right. I sure will miss this." Tyro lifts her glass and looks through it. "But it'll be fun, I'm sure. Besides, there's a lot I could learn from the FSB and GRU."
[14:11]	BigSis	frowns into her drink as she takes a sip.
[14:12]	BigSis	"Don't think there's much we could learn we didn't already learn in the eighties. Or the tens."
[14:14]	Balcora	sips at her drink, casually observing everyone and their surroundings.
[14:16]	Westinghouse	"When it comes to foreign affairs, I guess. But they have a good way of handling their internal politics that we could learn from. Their version is inelegant, but we've gotta learn it, if we want to refine it."
[14:19]	BigSis	massages her forehead and makes a mental note to tell these girls to care less about the job and more about the life, when her next incarnation has to do this over again.
[14:21]	BigSis	"You ARE foreign affairs if you're with an ambassador, West."
[14:21]	BigSis	"You really shouldn't go. Russia's a lost cause."
[14:23]	Balcora	keeps sipping at her soda, only to find it gone.
[14:24]	Balcora	"Oh, that was good," she mutters, and motions to the bartender for another.
[14:24]	Westinghouse	"Not up to me. Besides, what, me all geared up, and change my mind?" Tyro uncrosses her legs. "You'd have to tell the State Department to keep me away."
[14:24]	Agamedes	After contemplating enough, she settled for a simple drink since yknow public and shits. " I'll take a Cranberry Soda, with like 53 Real cherries. Yes, 53, if not I will be very sad. " She even makes a :< face to the dot.
[14:25]	BigSis	smiles and folds her hands under her chin daintily.
[14:25]	BigSis	"I can do that, you know~"
[14:26]	`GM	[The bartender replaces Karan's drink first, then politely asks Medes to wait while he finds another cherry jar.]
[14:26]	Agamedes	The little girl leaned up to the barkeep and said in dead tone. "That's how old sis is before she gets married." She takes a step back and resumes watching the room at various denizens who'll come in and out until her drink's ready.
[14:28]	BigSis	dips her thumb into her vodka and shoves it against Medes' forehead, nearly knocking her off the stool.
[14:28]	Meredith	looks over at Big Sis's violent reaction. "Oh, is there someone you have your eye on, then?"
[14:29]	BigSis	ignores Merry for now. Girl needs to grow up; adults are talking, sweetie~
[14:30]	BigSis	"But I don't want to if I don't have to. And I shouldn't HAVE to, not when it's one of my girls~"
[14:31]	Westinghouse	"You can? Since when?" Tyro looks slightly surprised. "Well, you want me to stay, right? I can't stop you from making a call. Follower of orders, even if I'd have to be deprived of my ability to learn from the good boys and girls in Russia's security services."
[14:32]	Agamedes	"Big sister~~~ you shouldn't be violating the poor cup. It's rape in some parts of the world dear..." She frowns a bit rubbing her forehead, getting back into the right chair position.
[14:32]	BigSis	frowns and slams her hand on the bar, a little louder than she had intended.
[14:33]	BigSis	"Cut that shit P.C. talk out, Virago. They're not good and you know it."
[14:37]	Balcora	finishes her second soda.
[14:37]	Balcora	"Big sis is right, you know..."
[14:38]	Balcora	"Missiles wind up in all sorts of hands when Russia's around."
[14:38]	`GM	[The bartender finally returns with a pint glass full of soda and cherries for Medes.]
[14:38]	`GM	Goateed Bartender: "Here you are, ma'am; sorry for the wait. 53; I counted~"
[14:39]	Westinghouse	"They're inefficient." Tyro concedes. "But they've got the principles right, you know?" Tyro finishes her soda, gesturing for another as she talks. "And corrupt, I guess, but they're good at protecting the common man from himself. We're not half bad at it ourselves, but we can't win the game if we're a trick or two short, right?"
[14:39]	Agamedes	"Yeyyyyy." She raises her hands and hands the barkeep about $20's one."Here you go sir, Imma a girl of my word you know~" She smiles demurely and blushes a little.
[14:40]	`GM	[The Bartender smiles back and accepts the tip. His hand moves a little as if he might pat her on the head, but that wouldn't be very professional now would it.]
[14:42]	BigSis	sighs. Girls this young, raised as they were, shouldn't have to worry about politics like old men in suits. What a world...
[14:43]	Agamedes	The girl took her drink and turned to big sis's and this Tyro person, and listens onto thier conversation, popping cherries as she deems fit, poor preserved fruits never stood a chance. You can hear thier screams as thier sweet flesh melt in your mouth, it tends to bleed alot when you pop cherries you know.
[14:44]	BigSis	"Tyro, you're talking about all these politics and shit. I'm talking about YOU."
[14:45]	BigSis	softly cups Tyro's chin in her hands, trying to be the mother she never had.
[14:45]	Westinghouse	Tyro is taken aback by the unfamiliar gesture, piping down.
[14:45]	BigSis	"I'm worried about you, Tyro. Russia... Things that go into Russia don't come out if they want to keep them."
[14:46]	BigSis	"I'm worried that they know what you are."
[14:47]	Agamedes	"Poor, poor cherries...never stood a chance, one can only imagine the faces they have when their comrades becomes part of this giant girl who'll go on a nomming spree. Woosh." She was mostly talking to herself softly, but anyone can hear if they really so please. Maybe she'll show cherrie some temporary reprieve as she drowns them in the cranberry soda.
[14:48]	BigSis	"I'm not going to let you just walk into that iron curtain in the name of peace. You've got to think about who you are and what you mean to the bigger picture."
[14:48]	BigSis	"Don't go. I can get you out, just... please, let me."
[14:48]	Meredith	"But... won't her not going be a sort of causus belli?"
[14:49]	Balcora	"She's not Helen of troy. Er, politically."
[14:49]	BigSis	looks at Merry, face rather downcast.
[14:50]	BigSis	"I can make it work. I've got people who'll make it look perfectly normal."
[14:51]	Westinghouse	Tyro tries to think of some snarky comment to throw back, but just answers back quietly. "You want me to desert...? But... then what? Eventually someone would recognize me. Besides, I have orders... ours is not to reason why, remember?"
[14:53]	Agamedes	"Wooo, one by one.. the cherries drown themselves, all making the soda even more red, with bits of thier fleshy goodness floating around." The barkeep at this point should of realized this girl isn't here in all 2 3/4 pieces. At some point she starts trying to tie the cherry stems with her tongue, failing miserably, swallowing the stem. Whoops.
[14:55]	BigSis	stares into her drink , wishing she had some kind of snarky comment too. Damn it, Tyro, why do you have to care so much...?
[14:56]	Meredith	"Would you send another in Tyro's place?"
[14:59]	BigSis	looks at Merry, and realizes with her question maybe she's been a bit more secretive and shifty then she's needed to be.
[15:00]	BigSis	"Wha? Ohh, pssh, no; wouldn't need to. Just phone in about a death in the family, and she's off due to being emotionally compromised."
[15:00]	BigSis	"I'm not trying to turn her into a traitor, I just want her off Russian detail."
[15:01]	Agamedes	"Someone's gonna haaaveee~... diaaabeeettusss... and its gonnnannnaaaaaaanananana be meee~" She starts singing, picking up the pace after each cherry being devoured.
[15:01]	Westinghouse_	"I don't have family, sis. It's in my file; everyone knows that."
[15:02]	`GM	Bartender: "Are you all right, ma'am?" he asks Agamedes.
[15:02]	`GM	Bartender: "Maybe you should slow down a bit."
[15:02]	Agamedes	"Ahh, sowwies. Just like mah cherry. Actually gimme some more." She hands the guy a $10 bill, telling him to keep the change.
[15:03]	BigSis	"You have a biological mother, little sis. You were adopted, and you have a biological mother. Look me in the eyes and tell me that isn't true."
[15:03]	Balcora	"Amazing what relations can turn up, sometimes."
[15:04]	BigSis	is a little hurt at Karan's comment.
[15:04]	BigSis	"Turn up? Karan, you've got a biological mother too, you know."
[15:05]	BigSis	"I haven't met her, but... 'Balcora' had to come from somewhere, didn't it?"
[15:06]	`GM	Bartender: "I think maybe you've had enough already, miss."
[15:06]	Meredith	"I always assumed we were test tube babies."
[15:06]	`GM	[The bartender pushes back the bill.]
[15:06]	Balcora	Karan sighs.
[15:07]	Balcora	"Yes, I suppose so... I was thinking about fabricated relations, but it's easier to use the truth."
[15:10]	Westinghouse	"Well... I never met her. I don't know." Tyro looks somewhat shaken. "But it's not up to me if I go or not. You said you knew who to call, right? Why ask me? I had it drilled into me; everyone's a part in the system; all together, we form part of something bigger. I'm easy to move if you know the higher lever, right?"
[15:12]	Balcora	"We're not just gears, thankfully."
[15:14]	BigSis	leans in and hugs Karan.
[15:14]	BigSis	"Little sis gets it~"
[15:15]	Agamedes	"Awww, please mistah barkeep? I ain't done nothin' wrong~" The girl held her quite prosthetic arms together before them falling out of thier sockets hitting the floor with a fairly loud thud.. " Whoops there goes my arms, sowwies mister, this is what happens when I don't get enough sugars in my blood."
[15:16]	`GM	[The bartender looks a little disgusted and tries to hide it as professionally as he can.]
[15:16]	`GM	Bartender: "Ohh, uhh, let me, let me help you with those..."
[15:17]	BigSis	"I asked you first because I want you to know why. I want you to know I care, Tyro."
[15:17]	Balcora	smiles a bit wider than one would expect. A scant moment later, though, she shifts her head to hide Agamedes's debacle from her sight.
[15:18]	`GM	[The bartender walks out from behind the bar and fumblingly tries to pick up Medes's arms oh this is so gross.]
[15:19]	Agamedes	"Thank you~" She gives him a kiss on the forehead as she leaned down to pick up her arms, giggling, enjoying the rest of her cherries before they're gone.
[15:19]	Westinghouse	Tyro nods thoughtfully. "I see." She leans back in her seat, eyeing the cherry soda that's long finished.
[15:20]	`GM	Bartender: "Are you... sure you're all right, miss? I could get you a straw if you'd like."
[15:21]	Agamedes	"Just more cherries pleaseee~" She really, really wants those cherries.
[15:23]	`GM	[He sighs. Kids will be kids. Isn't it past her bedtime?]
[15:24]	`GM	Bartender: "I'll have to go back to the kitchen again, then."
[15:25]	Agamedes	"Yay! Successes for the comrades at home!" A triumphant win for the deceptively young looking girl.
[15:25]	`GM	Bartender: "If you haven't eaten me out of the rest of them already, that is, heh~"
[15:26]	Agamedes	"Oohh.. I'll return the favor someday then." She nodded, keepign her promise to the barkeep.
[15:30]	`GM	[The bartender moves towards the kitchen again OH HELL NAW HE JUST GRABBED BIG SIS WHY DOES HE HAVE A KNIFE AT HER THROAT.]
[15:30]	Balcora	graduates to actually facepalming.
[15:30]	`GM	Bartender: “Kitchen. All of you, now, or she’s gone.”
[15:31]	`GM	[The goatee clearly means he is evil and not kidding around. He sure doesn’t look like he is, and sure looks like a pro; the way he’s standing behind Jenna doesn’t look awkward from a distance.]
[15:31]	Balcora	"You know this is an exceedingly stupid idea, right?"
[15:32]	Balcora	Karan glares at him, moving as slowly as casual movement will allow.
[15:32]	`GM	[In response he starts drawing blood from Big Sis's neck. His face is quite calm.]
[15:40]	BigSis	looks decently calm for someone who's getting life-threatened. She's still pretty tense, though; that blood isn't helping matters.
[15:41]	BigSis	grits her teeth but can't make a move; the bartender is too close for a backwards kick and his free arm has locked both of hers down.
[15:42]	Westinghouse	Tyro stands but doesn't move yet, getting ready to strike. A shockwave would hit Big Sis too, so she stands in place for now.
[15:45]	Balcora	internally checks her grav modules. They don't exert much force on most objects, but maybe only a little is needed...
[15:48]	Meredith	backs off. But behind the bartender, a little brown bunny, almost invisible in the shadows, appears.
[15:51]	Agamedes	stares down the man, but her vision isn't all that great in this dimly lit place and fails to see nothing but the obvious on him. She frowns pretty hard this time.
[15:52]	`GM	Bartender: "You're not moving. Two seconds."
[15:52]	BigSis	"Uggh, will someone shoot him already, it's not like I'm going to bleed out that fast!"
[15:53]	Westinghouse	Tyro moves, but slowly. "I'm not that precise, Sis."
[15:55]	Meredith	smiles, and transfigures the bunny behind him into a bear, which grabs him.
[15:57]	Agamedes	"Sorry sis, mine's not quick enough, sure you guys got it. I"m going to go into the kitchen to steal his cherries."
[16:04]	`GM	[The bartender is grabbed and clawed by Merry's hologram, pulling him away from Jenna's neck. As he's pulled, he still managed to stab into her back and slice downwards, sending her wobbling into the bar for support.]
[16:05]	`GM	Bartender: "What the DAMN!?"
[16:06]	Meredith	"Tyro, get Big Sis! I've got him!" She pushes up her sunglasses, which gleam in the dim light of the room.
[16:06]	`GM	[Medes wanders into the kitchen, and notices a large armed tactical squad with weapons drawn on the other side.]
[16:06]	BigSis	"Nggh...!"
[16:07]	BigSis	spreads her palms out on the bar, trying to get some semblance of balance. The blood is quickly seeping into the back of her clothes.
[16:08]	Balcora	focuses her attention on the knife, ripping it out of his hands somewhere onto the distant floor. She rips off a strip from her dress to help close the wound.
[16:09]	Westinghouse	Tyro jumps over to help Big Sis, taking her jacket off and using it to apply pressure to the gash and try and stem the bleeding.
[16:14]	Balcora	Karan aids the first aid as an aide.
[16:14]	`GM	[The bartender spins out of the hologram's grasp and pulls a concealed handgun strapped to his ankle, aiming for Jenna again.]
[16:15]	Agamedes	docks and backs off immediately before they had the moment to react, she felled back on her ass into the room they were drinking in.
[16:15]	Agamedes	"Uh... you might not want to go in there, guys with fancy guns and red sight CCO's are in there."
[16:16]	`GM	[Unseen guys with fancy guns and red sight CCO's start shooting through the kitchen doors.]
[16:17]	`GM	[The hotel patrons and staff, who had already started gettign nervous a few seconds ago with that bear, are now in full panic mode.]
[16:19]	Agamedes	"You might wanna duck girls...~ We're being shot at~" She stayed prone, keeping low, and keeping her defensive up with her chains now out, but not in active use.
[16:25]	Balcora	yanks Jenna aside, rolling over to shield her from the storm. A bullet grazes her arm, amongst the shrapnel and lead.
[16:25]	BigSis	winces as Tyro presses against the wound; it really doesn't feel useful at all. Getting yanked feels worse.
[16:26]	BigSis	"Nmmmmnmm...! Car, leave... now?!"
[16:27]	Agamedes	"We probably should huh... so.. where is the thing parked? I'll get it going for you sis."
[16:27]	BigSis	tries to get the keys out of her pocket, but moving her arms at all sends shooting pains through her torso.
[16:28]	Meredith	snarls, "You bastard! You'll pay for this!" The bear vanishes; in front of the man appears a demonic figure carrying a blazing chain.
[16:28]	Meredith	sends the chain snaking out to break the gun in his hand.
[16:28]	BigSis	"CAR! GO NOW!"
[16:30]	`GM	[The gun rapidly clatters out of the man's hand as he clutches it for a second or two, getting the tail end of the chain lash.]
[16:31]	`GM	[The tactical team is moving out of the kitchen now, guns blazing.]
[16:31]	Agamedes	"I got ya girl." She used one of her smaller chains to dig out the key from Big Sis, then retrieving it to pocket it before gonig on and stayng prone until she's a safe distance away from the gunfire. "See you in the cars girl, we'd better hurry."
[16:34]	Balcora	sprints out, with the group.
[16:36]	Meredith	is nowhere near as fast as the rest of the group. However, as she leaves, she shouts to her summon, "Balor! End them!" He roars and throws himself at the group, giving her time to escape.
[16:38]	Agamedes	The petite looking girl, made a mad dash for the care, avoiding most of the fire, before finding the car in short order and starting it up. " There had better not be that damn bullshit about I can't start my car in a very dangerous situation."
[16:39]	`GM	[Stray bullets, as if there's any that aren't in that cloud, manage to find Balcora and Meredith as the group retreats from the (for now) immediate danger.]
