Let's start with why this shitty essay exists: we don't need to keep doing this, no matter how silly or benign it is.
Initially it was for kicks, to offset the overall tone of the story and how terribly sad our own lives were compared to it.
During the demo days it was simpler, no excuses for us to constantly have those threads. A lot of nice stories-- some fucking tragic, some hilarious, but we kept a level head.
Now the full game's out.
It's funny, the game itself told us to let go. Now we've just sorta sunk into this pit of shitposting and self-pity.

So let's end this once and for all, alright?

Daki-family-anon: We'll always remember you. Nobody wants this for you-- everyone truly hopes that your life improves. If
we could be there in person to help you through this shit then we would.

Frasiure-gif-anon: Thank you. Having someone care, no matter how small solace it is, is enough impetus to keep going when
shit really gets rough.

Self-immolation-anon: Don't sweat it. You've got plenty of strength in ya' to keep going no matter how shitty your friends
are.

Genesis-anon: I remember the thread you first made the genesis connection in. 'This song really fits the theme of these
threads.' From there, it became synonymous. It really did fit. Letting go, trying to move on when all that happens is you
hurt yourself and your friends, yeah-- it sticks. Just don't lose sight of that idea; this transcendental shitposting came
from something honest and heartfelt.

Chara-fanfic-anon: No matter how far you've fallen, there's always a way to get back up. You've done some pretty nasty shit
as a kid, sure, but you acknowledge it. You're not so far gone that you'd find an excuse for your behavior-- and really,
someone going against their nature and trying to do good is something special.

Hatred-anon: Stop.

Trilingual-anon: English is your third language, right? You must've moved quite a bit. It's probably tough trying to make
friends when you don't stay long enough to keep close to 'em; so making some here, where you can easily find them again
must be pretty nice. That's really what we're all here for anyway. Don't give up.

Flowey-avatarfag: At some point, you remember giving a shit. You hate us for what we've become, and you've probably always
hated us-- but when you're around, it's a refreshing voice of reason among the shitposting.

I-want-Asriel-to-bully-me-anon: Know that people do not need to be hurt to feel love.

Henri: If you're still around, hey. I hope you don't have any more nightmares.

Anonyma: You're a cool guy, you've got a lot going for ya', and in your shoes-- with your mom stealing money from ya' and
all, I don't think I'd last a minute. That being said, I'm a lazy piece of shit. You can get out of this mess, you still
care enough to try.

Fishoil-anon: You might think you've gone over the line-- and that there's no going back-- but let me tell you, there's
always hope. You're self-aware. You know what you're doing is really fucking weird. Just don't go and start hating yourself
for it, that'll make it all that much easier to continue to screw yourself over with this shit.

Ed: Take care of yourself.

Tricky Rick: Nobody really remembers LISA: The First that well, so the message behind your schtick doesn't really "stick".
We're only running away from our lives by coming here.

Torielfag: You understand me best of all, somehow. From the simple fact we've talked so long back in the demo days. I'm
glad you've been able to move on, and I really hope you are NOT reading this.

Inseperable-anon: You've heard everything we've had to say-- you know probably best of all what Asriel wanted for us. All I
can really say is you'll get trough it.

Chara-is-a-coon-anon: Initially, you introduced us to coon Chara to make fun of all the idiots that tried to separate
themselves from Chara and call it a seperate entity-- someone they thought was real fucking sexy for murdering everything.
We'll still remember that, no matter how corrupted and fucking silly this meme gets.

Toriel-is-best-anon: Please take care of yourself. You can try to be as pure as you want, but corruption is already there
in your heart and mind. Fighting against it and losing after doing so well for so long can be heartrending-- so don't give
up, if you've fallen.

Everyone: We'll remember this time together. There will always be someone out there who remembers you, someone who does
care, no matter how far away.

The full game came out about four months ago. We've talked about everything to death. Character traits, design choices, philosophy, writing, influences, merchandising, jeez even music theory. We know just about everything about the game. The only real thing left to discuss is why we're still here. When we get to that part we start to do some introspection. That shit'll hurt.
We knew full well this would be the outcome. That's sort of what happens with single-player games.

In short, there's nothing more to worry about. You'll always have your memories.
No matter how perverted they get, the simplest things will bring them flooding back as pure as the moment itself.
