My Littlest Echo - Part 7

We find ourselves looking once again at Nigron's pad. After about an hour, Lily seemed to gain consciousness once more. Jicks was overjoyed to see her awake once again. She told them what had happened that dreadful night. She explained to them how it was someone wielding a sword that attacked her, matching up with what we heard in King Tysremy's castle. No one out of the group new about the Han Hand Clan or the fighters a part of it. They just knew it was one more thing to watch out for while training the young Damian.

Back at the lounge, our little clock work buddy Telio was up to something strange. He seemed to be working on a device. It almost looked like metal underwear. He seemed to work on it for hours and finally finished with the thing. Shortly after finishing, he walked up to the roof where Damian was training.

Telio : I have made you something to help you train better.
Damian : Really? What is it?

Telio pulled out the metal underwear and it glimmered in the light. Damian's eyes lite up upon seeing it.

Damian : Wowee! That's really for me? It looks so shiny!
Telio : These aren't ordinary underwear. They send shocks to you testicles the tougher you work out. This should help you grow much more powerful then you can imagine.
Damian : Hoe will hurting my thingies make me stronger?
Telio : You will see in time. You just have to trust me on this one.
Damian : Will this interfer with the training Jicks is gaving me?
Telio : Not at all. It will actually help him train you better when he gets back.

Without hesitation Damian put on the underwear. It felt a bit heavy, but Damian was use to it. He normally had heavy underwear since he still had a problem with using the toilet. He went back to his training after that. After a few tries at jumping to the other building like the previous day, he started feeling the tingling of the underwear. That didn't stop him. Jicks appeared back at the lounge and went up the stairs to the roof. He was really surprised to see Damian training without his help. He could see the increased stamina Damian had in only two days that he had been there.

(Woosh woosh woosh woosh woosh. Fast forward a couple weeks.)

It seemed the crew has managed to not see any sign of the Han Hand Clan since the first encounter a couple weeks ago with Lily. It was only a matter of time Samurai Pro or one of his buddies attacked, and that is exactly what was going to happen on this seemingly fine day.

The stage was set for the battle. It was raining hard as young Damian trained along side Jicks in the alley way. Samurai Pro was ready to attack the two. He watched them for a roof top. He noticed little Damian getting tired. It was a perfect opportunity to get him. He jumped down and appeared before the two armed and ready.

Samurai Pro : Well if it isn't the infamous Jicks. Your blood will taste great on my sword.
(Jicks raised an eyebrow inquisitively.)
Jicks : Is that so?
Samurai Pro : I know so. You are too old to protect yourself, and your pupil seems to be too tired to help you out.
Jicks : We will see about that.

Jicks stood there with his cane firmly in the ground evaluating Samurai Pro's stance. He knew what Samurai Pro said was true. The only way he was getting out of this one would be through a miracle. Damian looked at the two helplessly on the ground, too afraid to move or do anything to assist Jicks. It looked like it was the end of the road for this mustached master.

What will happen to Jicks? What will happen to the world as we know it? Does this mean Damian gets to skip training for the rest of the day? And what will become of Damian balls from that mysterious underwear? We shall see, in the next chapter.
