That which the Warlock makes, he marks as his, and twists to fit his desires. Should that which is his be broken, or no longer please him, then his displeasure is made painfully manifest.

This charm enhances Splintered Gale Shintai, allowing the Infernal spend a mote to mark his duplicate with a brand as if they had pledged their loyalty to him and he had activated Fealty-Acknowledging Audience. The mote spent is committed, and cannot be uncommited without uncommiting the mote(s) that sustain the existence of the construct.

Fealty Acknowledging Audience's options (visible or invisible mark, where it is placed), side effects (an intimacy of terrified awe towards the Infernal, which doesn't count towards maximum sustainable intimacies) and enhancements of the brand or other effects from other charms all apply, except that if the infernal wishes to activate By Rage Recast's expansion of Fealty-Acknowledging Audience to apply mutations to the construct, it costs a surcharge of 3m rather than 5m, but this surcharge is also committed in the same manner that the initial mote to brand the duplicate is.

Finally, should the duplicate die, whether it be from wounds, its sustaining essence being removed by countermagic or the Infernal withdrawing his essence commitment, or even such unlikely causes as old age, the brand briefly glows upon their body, or appears for a moment in the air where they disintegrated, and then explodes.

This explosion is a one-time Environmental effect, with a range of (Essence) yards, dealing 2L unsoakable damage (or (Essence) damage if you have Wrath Stoked Bonfire Soul, which also makes it aggravated to Gods, or all targets if you have Essence 6+), Trauma (Essence)L, applying to any damaged targets all appropriate expansion charms of Green Sun Nimbus flare as normal, except for Magnanimous Warning Glyph, which can only be applied if the Infernal is present at the time the boom goes off and chooses for it to do so. This decision can be made on a case by case basis, leaving some spared and marked, others burned and dying.
