  1. Tiger I is more mobile than the Tiger P, and this will allow you to change flank or fall back in time when needed; Tiger P's crawling speed can't really get you out of nasty situations, and this is a major drawback of that tank.
  2.
  3. Tiger I has insane DPM, while Tiger P has a ridiculous reload time for the punch the gun packs; you literally can't out-dpm nobody with Tiger P, while Tiger I can just go GAU-8 on everything in its path; also gun handling is better on the Tiger I while stationary, and worse when moving, because of the different speeds at which they move and turn turret and hull, but the real difference is a slight one, the aimtime, which is shorter of 0,2 seconds for the Tiger I (2,7s - Tiger P has 2,9); this little pro united with the DPM can make you much more effective against enemies.
  4.
  5. Tiger I has a little more depression (-7°) than Tiger P (-6), this sometimes comes in handy, but it's not a substantial advantage; what is an useful feature of the Tiger I is the height from the ground of the turret, since will allow you to take advantage of many more spots and places to go hulldown, but also will give you an advantage in close combat because will reduce the angle at which the shell will hit enemies' angled plates.
  6.
  7. Tiger I has a bigger silhouette than Tiger P, but it is constant on all its sides since it's basically a big box, while Tiger P is more elongated, and this is problematic when moving and turning in cramped spaces and when getting flanked because both have weak sides, but Tiger P's sides are much bigger than Tiger I ones; moreover Tiger I has half his side covered by tracks, while Tiger P roadwheels are smaller, thus reducing the chances of absorbing rounds magically when they end on your tracks.
  8.
  9. Both Tiger I and Tiger P have a massive health pool, BUT Tiger I can use it to survive shots-exchanging scenarios thanks to his DPM, while Tiger P can't do this as well; also, Tiger I can move out of the fire line more quickly than Tiger P in every situation, thanks to its better top speed and terrain passability (power-to-weight ratio are more or less the same), so it can exchange a shot for better positioning for instance, while the Porche will just receive tons of shots before getting anywhere, generally because if you cross the line of fire you try to stay perpendicular to it thus showing your long unprotected side, and his health pool will be drained no matter how huge it is.
  10.
  11. Tiger I has a slower turret turning speed, but Tiger P has a slower hull turning rate; while both have roughly the same capability of keeping their gun pointed at their target (the sums of turret and hull turn of the two Tigers differ only of one unit in favor of Tiger P), Tiger P can't keep his front pointed at enemies' guns as well as Tiger I, which is problematic since the only real strenght of the Tiger P is his thick frontal armor (ignoring the usual german LFP), and as I said above, Tiger P's sides are a much bigger weakpoint than Tiger I ones.
  12.
  13. All these drawbacks of the Tiger P are there to compensate for that extra frontal armor, but ironically nowadays even shitters shoot gold at targets that they can't penetrate with autoaim, while good players just know the massive weakspot you have on the top of the turret and just below your 200mm plate.
  14.
  15. As you can see it's a bad tradeoff and that's why Tiger I is overall a better tank than Tiger P.
