- So V9 uses a newly coded plugin made by Coty to replace the traditional factions, this post will outline what you need to know to get into the loop, skip further down for the commands.
- Actual factions remain in the game as boards and most of the commands work the same however instead of the chunk claiming system a block reinforcement system has been implemented.
- To reinforce a block left click it with a material. This adds reinforcement to the block dependant on the material used, for example an iron ingot adds more levels than a cobblestone block.
- The block will then no longer break until someone has lowered it's reinforcement level enough by mining it, setting it on fire, or causing an explosion near it.
- At a high enough reinforcement level a block becomes immune to mining and fire based methods of reducing it's level, so only explosions can be used until it gets to a lower level.
- A reinforced block cannot be moved by a piston.
- The faction chat channels return again and can be cycled through using '/b chat'.
- Instead of a faction home command setting the area people spawn at beds are used. There can be a faction bed that can be rarely teleported to using '/b home' and a player bed that can be teleported to more often using '/b bed'. To claim a bed for a faction use '/b sethome' while looking at an unused bed. To claim a personal bed simply sleep in it. If a bed is destroyed the teleport points it created are destroyed.
- When placed, doors are auto claimed by the faction building them, and cannot be opened by anyone but those belonging to the owner faction.
- Redstone DOES NOT use an ownership/claiming system so anyone can use a button or lever placed in the world.
- Building and bucket use can be restricted in an area by placing an Iron Block and adding a Redstone Torch on top of it. This creates a 16x16x16 bubble around it that only the owning faction can build/bucket in, however anyone can still break blocks there.
