  2. Standard Racial Traits
  3. Ability Score Racial Traits: Felynes are quick and sociable, but as strong as their size implies. They gain +2 Dexterity, –2 Strength, and +2 Charisma.
  4. Type: Felynes are humanoids with the catfolk subtype.
  5. Size: Felynes are Small creatures and thus gain a +1 size bonus to their AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty on their combat maneuver checks and to Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
  6. Base Speed: Felynes have a base speed of 30 feet.
  7. Languages: Felyne begin play speaking Common and Catfolk. catfolk with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following languages: Elven, Gnoll, Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Orc, and Sylvan.

  9. Bounce Back: Felynes are hard to put down. Felynes don't die until their total number of negative hit points is equal to or greater than double their Constitution score. Additionally, they gain a +4 bonus to stabilization checks and count as double their hit die for the purpose of hit points gained while resting.

  11. Cat Nap: Once per day a felyne can sleep for 1 hour. As long as they are not interrupted during this hour, they regain hit points, recover ability damage, and may make save against diseases as if they had rested for 8 hours and as if it was a new day. Failing this extra save against a disease doesn't apply the disease's penalties, but does count towards consecutive saves to end the disease. Failed attempts at a cat, such as being awoken early, do not consume a daily use of cat nap.

  13. Sapper: When a Felyne takes a level in a favored class, he can choose to increase the damage of thrown splash weapons by +½ instead of a gaining a hit point or skill point.

  15. Skilled: Felynes gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.

  17. Artisan: Felynes can become good at any job they put their mind to. They gain a +2 racial bonus to all Appraise, Craft, Disable Device, Handle Animal, Heal, Perform, Profession, and Survival skill checks.

  19. Low-Light Vision: Felynes have low-light vision allowing them to see twice as far as humans in dim light.

  21. Alternate Racial Traits
  22. Hunter: Some Felynes are more suited to hunting than any other profession. These hunters gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception, Stealth, Survival and Craft (trapmaking) skill checks. Additionally they gain Weapon Finesse or Point Blank Shot as a bonus feat. This racial trait replaces the Skilled and Artisan special abilities.

  24. Snatcher: Survival tip: You can steal money. Everybody has some. Some felynes live by this. These felynes gain a +2 racial bonus to steal and disarm combat maneuvers and a +2 racial bonus to Acrobatics, Disable Device, Sleight of Hand and Escape Artist skill checks. Additionally, these felynes count as one size category larger when performing the steal and disarm combat maneuvers when it would be beneficial. This racial trait replaces the Skilled and Artisan special abilities.

  27. Cat Naps (Heritage)
  28. Prerequisites: Felyne
  29. Benefit: You are an exceptional sleeper. You gain the full benefits of your cat nap in 30 minutes. Additionally, you gain a second daily use of your cat nap ability and one additional daily use for every 5 levels thereafter.
