Man Who Harassed Ivanka On Plane Now Being Harassed Himself

The professor and his husband who were removed from a JetBlue flight for harassing Ivanka Trump and her husband and children are now reportedly receiving threats and hate mail.

Professor Matthew Lasner of Hunter College received a pair of letters Tuesday at his Upper East Side office — one containing a white powder, the other coated with feces.

The letters also included photos of a poster board that read, “God hates fags,” and, “Next time you and your fag husband die,” police said Thursday.

The powder was tested by police and found to be harmless.

The police are investigating to determine the identity of the anonymous sender.

This is merely the latest in palpable outrage over the couple’s harassment of Ivanka Trump, husband and children Dec. 22 prior to the JetBlue flight from New York City to San Francisco.

Lasner’s husband, Daniel Goldstein, yelled at the daughter of the president-elect as they boarded the plane, saying, “Your father is ruining the country.”

Prior to boarding the flight, Lasner sent out a tweet saying Goldstein spotted Trump and her family in the terminal and was “chasing them down to harass them.”

After being kicked off the flight, Lasner claimed the airline was in the wrong for removing them.

“JetBlue kicked us off our flight when a (flight) attendant overheard my husband expressing displeasure about flying w/Trumps,” read the tweet from Lasner.

After news of the incident broke, more than 8,000 people signed a petition asking that Lasner, a professor of urban studies at Hunter College, be fired from the school.

The petition, started by a group calling itself Right Wing Millennials, read, “Someone like Mr. Lasner, who would harass a mother and her child, simply trying to go about their day, does not deserve the honor of teaching “

Lasner has a history of disliking the president-elect. After Trump was elected, he lead a march in Chicago against him.

The professor has posted many negative tweets about Trump but they have since been deleted.
