				“ ABOUT ”


BACKGROUND |
  Shin was born into a toxic family business. His parents weren’t the toxic ones, but the rest of his family was. His parents, Joohyuk and Euijin loved Shin a lot. He was their first child and very lovable. He was a bundle of joy and might have rebelled a couple times, but it was never actually a problem. The first ten years of his life were normal, but in 2008, Shin’s father was murdered. It was by someone in the family company. A certain someone that wanted Joohyuk’s spot as the director in charge.
    Shin and Euijin’s life changed. Euijin was a smart woman, and worked on the discovery of AI Humans (robots). Obviously, they wouldn’t be able to have ABO genders as they wouldn’t be able to have genitalia, but she was able to program AI Humans without that. She gave them skin, face, a voice, and all the other physical features to look like a human. She always thought of it as for people who are missing a lost relative.
    When she found out her husband died, she thought it was a suicide because that was what the man (Seo Seungho ; Murderer) told her. Obviously, she found out the truth soon enough and decided that she could not live in Korea anymore. She thought that they could be coming for her son too (hint hint they do, but not murder, of course). She decided to move to Czech Republic with Shin. Somewhere where they wouldn’t have to worry about the company. Her job was also available in the Czech Republic which is even better.
   Shin, being quite a smart kid, learned Czech easily. It was also probably easier cause he was still a child. He also knew about what happened to his dad. His mom tried to hide it a lot, but he discovered anyway based off of hearing her phone calls. His mom always looked sad despite trying her best to be happy for her child.
   In 2010, Shin was taken away from his mother. His grandfather, Nam Song Gil, had made this happen. Seo Seungho and a few others from the company basically kidnapped him. They took him away out of his mother’s grasp and drove away while they held Euijin back. It was a depressing scene to see, but Seungho would do anything for that spot of being the director (even if it was meant for Shin).
   After being taken away and being in Korea, he lived with his grandfather. He was forced to learn about the company as he was the future director. He was forced to change his personality and not be a child anymore. He wasn’t allowed to have fun because it was all about business now. He struggled with growing up so quickly. He had no parental figure around. When he was 15, he got a guard for the first time after his grandfather decided that he rebelled too often and needed to be controlled. Ji Younghoon was his guard’s name. Younghoon was an intelligent man, as that was how he got into the company. He was an orphan, but had the personality fit to the company’s expectations.
   Younghoon was quite handsome in Shin’s eyes, but never really questioned his feelings. He was always into the ladies.  With Younghoon though, he always felt something, which was weird. Younghoon was the one person who understood him and he could actually joke around with without getting yelled at. He would give great hugs when needed at emotional times, and it was like Shin had a friend for once.
   At 16 years old, Shin had changed a lot. He’s a complete asshole to most (except Younghoon, of course) and he was basically a heartbreaker. While he did listen to his grandfather, it was only to protect his mother. He doesn’t want anything happening to her either. His grandfather had threatened him when he came back to Korea to listen to him, or something will happen to her.
   At 18 years old, Shin ran away. He did not want to work at the company. He wanted to live his own life. Younghoon knows about this because Shin tells him everything. Before running away, both of them had a discussion about how Younghoon has to act like he doesn’t know where he went. Shin did feel bad because his grandfather is strict with Younghoon. He might treat him like a grandson, but he is still coldhearted.
    After running away, Shin changed his number, so they wouldn’t be able to track him because he knew that would be the first thing they’d do. He texted Younghoon first thing because he always wants to have Younghoon’s number. Then, he found a place to stay in. It was a small apartment, and thankfully, he has a lot of money, so it’s easy to afford. Shin also needed to find a job and there was a burlesque bar nearby. They were hiring since it was a new club that had just opened. He had a simple job as the bartender. He does enjoy alcohol. Over time, he got upgraded to being an actual dancer. He wasn’t that good at first, but he improved and actually got really good and they made him the choreographer.
   Over the span of the next two years, he had met new friends at the bar and still kept in contact with Younghoon. He would visit Younghoon time to time and it was always amazing. He left the burlesque bar and decided that he found a passion for music. He decided to join Eden Entertainment. Being a trainee was a bit hard, but he got used to it.
   After a year, they told him he would be in their next group. When he found out the news about them doing business with the burlesque bar he worked at, he was absolutely shocked. That means he’s probably gonna have to work with the people he didn’t really like that much.

PERSONALITY |
	Shin can be somewhat of an asshole. Okay, maybe he is a full on asshole, but he has reasons. His childhood wasn’t that great and he knows he can’t tell people that, but being an asshole can be fun sometimes.
    Shin can be a bit too blunt sometimes. He will tell you that you look like you have gained a little weight, and not give two shits about how rude that is to say. He also has no filter and cusses a lot. He calls a lot of people bitches for no apparent reason. He is also the type to get into fights easily, and those alpha instincts don’t help either. When he was younger, he has punched some of his workers for not letting him do something. Puberty was a very hard time for him.
   Growing up around a business where everything is all about money, Shin learned how to be persuasive and get what he wants. He doesn’t give up easily and will bother you until the end of time to get what he wants. Now, Shin is a smart man. He thinks logically, but he only thinks logically for himself. The constant questions in his head are “How will it benefit me?” or “Can this mess something up for me?” He’s constantly thinking those questions because he was forced to. That’s how his grandfather forced him to think because he was supposed to be the future director of NS Motors.
   Shin is very self aware about himself. He knows how messed up his background is. He knows that how he views society as perfectly fine is crazy to others, but that is just how he is. He is stubborn and won’t budge at all if you kept telling him to change. He knows people will argue with him about how he should change, but that’s not going to change him. He’s the type of person who always wants to win the argument because again, those alpha instincts.
   If he ever saw his mother again, she would be an exclusion to his personality to others. He misses her and wants to see her again. He would hug her forever if it was possible. Around those that he loves romantically, Shin can get shy, but he doesn’t like it when people see that. He does blush easily though, which sucks. He tries to use his acting skills to make himself seem confident, but most of the time, he just embarrasses himself.

* [TALKING TO HIMSELF] – Ever since Shin was forced to live in Korea without his mother, he didn’t really have much support. All he had was himself, so he would talk to himself. It’s kind of sad, but what can he do? He finds it comforting because his family disappeared from him.
* [HUGGING SOMETHING WHEN SITTING] – When in a comfortable spot at home (or soon to be dorm), he likes to hold onto something. It could be a pillow, but he also has stuffed animals in his room. This also formed when he was back in Korea. His grandfather always yelled at him for doing this and called him weak, but he still did it anyway.
* [CRACKING HIS NECK] – This started when he was a child (7 years old) and it just became a thing his neck got used to. It’s refreshing for him since he can feel the need when to crack his neck. He always thought of it as a natural habit that his body formed.

* [CLEANING] – Despite his rude personality, he is one to clean a lot. You may think he would be one of those dirty men who don’t clean shit, but he’s the opposite. He hates dirty rooms/messy places, and will clean to fix it. He took up this hobby because when he was younger, his mom always forced him to clean and he set up an expectation after being forced to clean a lot. He could sometimes partake in this activity everyday if it’s necessary, but usually only a couple times a week.
* [READING] – Shin loves to read. He likes to read books because they make you smarter and Shin isn’t going to back down from being smarter. Ever since he was in school, he liked reading, so it’s always nice when he can. He could easily finish a book in a day.

* He can speak Czech and Korean fluently. Though, his Czech hasn’t been as good as it used to. He still tries to practice it though.
* Being the son of two extremely smart adults, he was forced to learn the piano. It was really easy in his opinion.

   Shin, on stage, is one sexy beast. He knows how to work the camera and catch your eye. He could never see himself as cute because his personality definitely isn’t. On camera, if they’re doing a V-Live or an interview, he will be calm and nice to the members. Once that camera is off, he’s back to his normal self, which is rude.

HOW THEY ACT OFF STAGE/ON CAMERA | Once that camera is off, he’s back to his normal self. The members shouldn’t be surprised about it. This is all about business to him. He wants to help the bar get some popularity, and make money for himself. This is a job to him, and he doesn’t plan on making it anything else.

  For the fans, he will be nice. He will act like how they see him on camera. He doesn’t want to make the group lose fans because he knows if they actually know what he’s like, it’ll be devastating for the group. Towards fans, he’ll say “I love you” a lot because he does appreciate them. Even the members know it.

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE SOCIETAL EXPECTATIONS AND HIERARCHY OF SUB-GENDERS? |
   Personally, he thinks it is perfectly fine. That’s only because he’s an alpha, and he only cares when it benefits him. Sometimes, he does feel bad for the omegas, but he is not constantly thinking about it.

DO THEY REALLY THINK THIS GROUP IS THE BEST WAY TO HELP THE CLUB AND THE COMPANY RISE? |
He thinks it could help, but only if they’re successful obviously. That means they gotta work their asses off and have good songs. They can’t be a basic group. They gotta have some spice and make the group interesting to stan.

Well, if you wanted his true opinion, he’d wouldn’t want to be any other sub-gender. If he was forced to answer though, he would say omega. He wants to experience what it’s like and how bad it can actually be for them.

* [AMARYLLIS] – Shin personally thinks that they’re a bit similar personality wise. They’re both relatable to each other being alphas and Shin would be friends with him if they wanted to.
* [ANEMONE] – Shin thinks that they’re sometimes annoying because of the fact that they’re so pessimistic, but Shin won’t deny the fact that they’re a hard worker. Being the composer isn’t easy and Shin respects that.
