Jasper + Jade WIP Notes

Jasper and Jade
- penpals set up through an exchange program by the regions' leagues (as a means of connecting young trainers, to make starting their journeys less intimidating)
- communicate primarily over email, though sometimes they'll send actual letters
- they start their journeys around the same time

Jasper - from the Kanto region; extremely quiet and shy; likes pokemon, but the thought of adventuring off on his own made him extremely anxious; keeps an endless supply of medicine because he hates seeing his pokemon hurt; likes to decorate his pokeballs; very much in-tune with his pokemon (definitely the type to ask them if they want to join him in the first place); unintentionally flashy in his attacks; the voice of reason for Jade (often reminds her to eat, sleep, etc.)

	- johto starter - totodile

Jade - from the Hoenn region; loud and outgoing, but reckless; only trains pokemon she considers cute (but she has an extremely warped sense of cute); it's a wonder she's not dead from charging in to danger without thinking; strong sense of justice and very vocal about it; kind of opinionated and doesn't really listen to dissenting thought; comically bad at contests but be damned if she ain't gonna try anyway; frequently calls Jasper to hound him about coming out of his shell (she's a good, if frustrating, influence)
