The group is gathered in front of a mansion, painted brown and white, with windows and front doors kind of like eyes, and a circular porch area that's brown, maybe sandstone? Eileen continues cutting a bush into a shape, her face a soft crimson.

  3. [18:44:04] <~Aori_Radidjiu> The mansion's doors are open, and apparently the owner has a surplus of Eevees that he's willing to give out! Also, it's starting to get into evening, with the sky beginning to yellow up, and the bars are opening, so it should be time for dinner or barstalking
  4. [18:48:51] * Melons is pretty fucking quiet and physically distant from the main group, trailing them by a fair amount.

  7. [18:49:58] * Cerise walks into the mansion! "Hello~"
  8. [18:50:18] <Cerise> "Bonjouuuuur?"
  9. [18:51:47] * Melons has also hardly processed the fact that there's a new person.

[18:54:24] <~Aori_Radidjiu> Inside, the brown and white color scheme is kept for the floors, ceilings, and doors, but the walls are covered in a wallpaper with multicolored Eevee pawprints on it. There's a single kneeling man, brown-haired, with a white scarf, a brown jacket, and brown pants with a white belt, in the midst of a swarm of Eevee (and the occasional eeveelution, like Espeon, Umreon, and Vaporeon) who's taking turns giving all the little things pets and scratches behind the ears and feeding them pokepuffs. He looks up at Cerise's greeting, giving a wave. "Hello! Are you here to give one of my friends a home?"

  12. [18:55:19] * Mako nods. "Of course!"
  13. [18:56:16] <Cerise> "Nope!" she says, picking up one of the little Eevees and cuddling the FUCK out of it.
  14. [18:56:29] <Cerise> "But I think some of my new friends would."
  15. [18:56:53] <~Aori_Radidjiu> He blinks. "Well, all right. Everybody form up! 'cept for the older ones~!"
  16. [18:57:22] * Mackenzie is standing about outside in the street, looking around the town.
  17. [18:58:00] * Cerise uses Belly Scratch on the Eevee she picked up. That's totally a move right?
  18. [18:58:08] * Melons is largely on autopilot before noticing swarms of Eevees and has a cute attack.
  19. [18:59:49] <~Aori_Radidjiu> All the unevolved Eevees (sans the one that Cerise is holding, which is squirming because ohmmygodfeelssogood) stand up in a row, in perfect formation, with a soldier-esque stance.
  20. [19:00:48] * Melons leans down to stare at an Eevee, eyes wide with aaaaawdoration.
  21. [19:00:58] <Melons> Also a little bit of insanity, probably.

I grew up alongside one, my adored Sylveon...unfortunately, I outlived him, but I didn't outlive his children, so I've taken to overseeing all of his family and making sure they get proper homes. I'm a professional breeder of Eevees, which are in high demand, but I happen to have a big surplus today, so I'm giving some out for free."

There's less evidence for that than for everything coming from Mew, though. Others think that Eevee might be a cousin of Deoxys, a strange pokemon from space, and others think that Eevees are the most pure existence there is, their evolution caused by a "corruption" in themselves.

  49. [19:16:13] <~Aori_Radidjiu> Koa looks at you. Then the Eevee squad. Then you. Then back to the squad. [I...guess it's this one?] It points to an Eevee 3/4ths of the way to the right within the line. [Its got a more chaotic pattern than the others, but not by too much]
  50. [19:16:29] * Melons picks it up. "Hellooooooo~!"
  51. [19:16:57] <~Aori_Radidjiu> "Eeee~!" It squeals and squirms in your arms delighted
  52. [19:17:38] * Melons squeals a little bit before remembering she's in public. "Um...I think I'll take this one."
  53. [19:20:07] * Mako looks for the one with the calmest aura and picks it up.
  54. [19:20:24] <~Aori_Radidjiu> That one would be on...the fair left. Its actually fallen asleep by now
  55. [19:20:37] * Lesieli is rolling around in ALL OF THEM

  57. [19:21:07] <~Aori_Radidjiu> There's a resounding "Eeeee~" as all the Eevee's get rolled up. They seem to be enjoying it~

  62. [19:26:53] <~Aori_Radidjiu> Koa stares for a bit before t-timidly putting out a paw and petting the thing. It gets a slight blush on its face as it begins petting the Eevee.

  67. [19:29:17] * Melons exits, returning briefly to yell out a "Thank you!" and waits awkwardly outside with Mack or something.

  102. [19:44:19] * Cerise slips on her aurashades so she can aura while melons auras.
  103. [19:44:31] * Lesieli hugs it to death. Oops, guess I gotta pick a different one then
  104. [19:44:40] <Med> "I'm staying overnight at the Pokemon Center. Could you let Mack know?"

  109. [19:46:10] * Mako nods. "Well...thanks for telling me. If you need anything, give me another call. We gotta start getting ready to do some snooping, so I'm gonna go, alright?"

  112. [19:47:54] * Mako 's aura is blue and swirls like a water spout.

  115. [19:49:13] * Mackenzie is somewhere not far away, idly looking around, but conveniently not in your general direction.
