  1. ESEA IM Week 1 Power Rankings
  2.
  3. 1. Champagne and Cocaine / Evil MrMuffinz' Team
  4. Pocket: Deathy
  5. Roamer: Rekuso
  6. Demoman: Jarrett
  7. Scout: Evil MrMuffinz
  8. Scout: Scizor
  9. Medic: Skye
  10.
  11. A lot of recognizable names on this team, featuring three former invite players in Rekuso, Jarrett, and Scizor. This team holds a lot of talent in just those players alone, however the entire team is still fairly well rounded. Deathy is a solid pocket in his own right, playing a very low heal style of pocket that focuses on opening up opportunities for his scouts. Speaking of scouts, Evil MrMuffinz and Scizor are looking like the strongest scout combo in the division right now. Scizor does a great job at cleaning up damage and punishing overextending players while Muffinz plays a very heal heavy scout and uses his aim and movement to follow up on his combo’s damage. Rekuso has the ability to outdm a lot of the flanks in the division, add in great bombs and good timing then you have one of the scariest roamers to play against. Lastly, we have Jarrett who recently broke into invite last season with The Grime, while I do think Jarrett is the weakest player on this team, he does do what he needs to do and he does it well.
  12.
  13. 2. kill zill
  14. Pocket: botmode
  15. Roamer: tankman
  16. Demoman:hassassin
  17. Scout: sen
  18. Scout: raytek
  19. Medic: icTus
  20.
  21. Returning from last season, we have Pizzagon eSports with a new name and a couple of new players. The returning core of kill zill being botmode, sen, and raytek. Sen and Raytek have great aim and after a season of playing together should have the coordination to boot. Botmode returns sporting his same level of dm and ability, though with a new combo his playstyle is definitely gonna have to change. Last season, cloudmaker played a very passive style of demo. He focused on not taking heals and playing extremely far behind his team. Hassassin is the opposite of this, he enjoys playing a superstar kind of demo. He takes lots of heals and puts out great damage and frags along with not dying much at all. As long as kill zill, do a good job at playing around his presence they should be looking to take a top three playoff spot.

  26. 3. -rocked by the dragon-
  27. Pocket - Hellbent
  28. Roamer - Voll
  29. Demoman - sigh
  30. Scout - Vand
  31. Scout - train
  32. Medic - matt
  33.
  34. Rocked By The Dragon, last season’s open third place team makes enters IM with a completely different roster, the only surviving members being train and Voll. Four new pickups and they’re all upgrades, Vand adds another layer of strong dm to the flank and Hellbent adds a lot of experience to the combo of the dragons. Add in sigh and matt of slowbr0 fame and you have a well rounded combo that has a season of experience together. They do however make questionable decisions at times which really shows their lack of experience in places, however they should be able to coast through a lot of the teams in IM off of their monstrous dm alone.

  36.
  37. 4. Exultance TF2
  38. Pocket: trip
  39. Roamer: kanon
  40. Demoman: safrix
  41. Scout: - Sal
  42. Scout: dflamie
  43. Medic: saam
  44.
  45. Exultance TF2 (formerly The Muffin Men), has changed a lot since last season. After roster troubles during the regular season of last seasons with their medic, during the offseason both scouts decided they were not enjoying playing with them anymore, losing Blues and Evil MrMuffinz. Though, this is probably gonna cost them a lot of the coordination and teamwork that they had, strong pickups in dflame and -Sal are looking to really spruce up the dm ability on the team and saam’s experience playing with top invite players in the form of mason, muma, and dingo is gonna add an extra layer of experience to the team. Trip and safrix are now on their third season of playing pocket and demo together and their fifth season of playing together overall, the coordination on the two while wishy washy at times can shine through at times and was really prevalent in matches during last season. Kanon on roamer rounds the team up with up and down performances, if kanon can find consistency in his play he will be a top 3 roamer in IM.
