Deyaenoux Bouchard was practically beaming with delight. And takes Mandalina's hand, urging her with him.
Sorocan Malqir leans down beside Perish and whispers to her. Whatever it is she's saying, the au ra's expression is neutral which is a step up from her usual grumpy look.
Deyaenoux Bouchard leans forward to whisper at Mandalina's ear.
★Deyaenoux Bouchard >> "To your room?"
Mandalina Elendil nods towards the door.
Mandalina Elendil: "What has you so cheerful?"
Deyaenoux Bouchard walks up to Mandalina and wraps his arms around her from behind in a surprisingly loving gesture, a gentle embrace, and pulls her to him most adoringly as he nuzzles his face at the back of her ear into her mass of black hair. "I'm most inspired."
Mandalina Elendil gasps at the sudden embrace. Her face turning a deep red, "I-inspired? What brought this on? This is most... unlike you."
Deyaenoux Bouchard nudges against the crook of her neck, parting the cloth aside so as to kiss the gentle bend of skin. "Halone's grace," he whispered as a response to her queries.
Mandalina Elendil twists in his embrace to face him, "Halone you say. That is some inspiration. Makes me wonder what she said."
Deyaenoux Bouchard does not relent his affections and continues to grope and hold Mandalina wherever his hands wandered to, the soft kisses to her neck becoming more insistant. "Does it matter?" he whispers against her skin.
Mandalina Elendil 's resolve seems to give way with the affection. She is absolutly shaking, "I-I was just curious if it was really Halone... or the person you seem to have pushed your idea of her onto."
Deyaenoux Bouchard stops, pausing in what hold he was. Then slowly straightens to look directly at Mandalina with a most implicating and equally curious expression. "Oh..?" he started, the tone suggesting for her to continue though looking none too pleased about it.
Mandalina Elendil pushes away from trying to regain some sort of composure, "Did you not think that I wouldn't find out. You lied to me about where you were going! Do you think that I am stupid?"
Deyaenoux Bouchard reaches out for what would appear her hand but grips her wrist instead, holding the arm up and keeping it raised to prevent Mandalina from stepping back further. "Heh. What are you talking about? I had errands in Gridania!"
Mandalina Elendil: "No, -I- was in Gridania."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "So we didn't coincide. Gridania is a large and winding city, it's not farfetched!"

Mandalina Elendil glances over at the clock on the wall, "This, whatever this is, will have to wait until later. You should go find something to wear. We do not want to be late."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "Late for what?"
Mandalina Elendil: "The auction is tonight! I have an outfit to be showing soon!"
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "What? Absolutely not, you're not attending."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "It's morally decadent! Up on a stage for everyone to GAWK at you."
Mandalina Elendil: "You are in no position to tell me what to do."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "Are you so morally compromised, your personal ethics so weak, that you'd throw yourself to decadence?"
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "You've prayed to Halone and Her favor has seen you to health! And THIS is how you repay Her mercy to your ill?"
Mandalina Elendil: "The only person I want 'gawking' at me is you. And you cannot do that if you do not in attendence. This is the job I signed up for."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "I won't be the only one to do that if you shamelessly parade yourself in front of a crowd!"

Mandalina Elendil sighs heavily, "I am already late. Can we please argue about this later?"
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "You're not late, because you're not attending. And there's nothing to argue about, because I'm right."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "And that's that."
Mandalina Elendil: "You are something alright."
Deyaenoux Bouchard grips her wrist and holds it tight. "Your spiritual caretaker."
Mandalina Elendil: "Deyaenoux. Please. I need to go."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "You're not."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "It's for the sake of your moral sanctity."
★Deyaenoux Bouchard: "The Fury's eyes are on you and She judges."
Mandalina Elendil pulls her wrist from his grip, "Deyaenoux I get it. But this is part of my job. I have to go."
Deyaenoux Bouchard tries to reach her wrist again, insistant and aggravated now. "It's not your job anymore! You are of Halone's favor now, and you will STAY!"
Mandalina Elendil: "I am so sorry..."
