[13:06] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Last night, our group of budding heroes stormed the base of operations of a host of slavers that were assaulting and capturing caravans for their own sinister purposes. They were all defeated, the captives were freed, and the group has claimed their lodgings for themselves
[13:08] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Along with the thanks and appreciation of those rescued, the group has gained two new allies. The first is a mute pegasus ghoul who calls herself Ditzy, and runs a merchant caravan called Absolutely Everything. The second is a young filly who was captured by the slavers, and decided to stick with her rescuers.
15[13:10] * +Karina is resting. Just because she isn't having a nightmare doesn't mean she isn't still a very heavy sleeper.
07[13:11] * +SmartCookie finds himself kinda sprawled in his corner, where he fell asleep. A pony really shouldn't sleep like that. With a lot of rhaspy maoning he starts untangeling his limbs and getting up. Oh shucks... A stiff neck... With a cringe on his face he tries to slowly move his neck.
[13:11] <+SmartCookie> moaning*
07[13:11] * +Keen_Shine is not having a good morning. In fact, on the scale of things, any day started off shivering and weak-legged while an invisible flame cooked one's gut would probably be a universally horrible one. He tried to sleep in his quarters, the threat of vomit being his wake-up call.
07[13:11] * +Primer yawns and opens  her eyes. Where were she? Oh, right. The new place... She hugs her teddy to herself tighter, still remembering the pain in her leg. the pain was gone now, but it was still a major blow to her self esteem as an explosives expert.
07[13:13] * +SmartCookie starts stumbeling around more noisly than usual, in search for the others. Why didn't they wake him up and make him get some sleep somewhere else? Oh well...
07[13:14] * +Desert_Storm yawns. She had spent the nigth with her rifle in her hooves, staring at the sky, feeling the bandages around her wing. She'd probably sleep on the ride back to Gutterville. She tucked her balnket in her bags and stretched out across the bed. Maybe she'd get an early start on that sleep...
15[13:14] * +Karina rolls over.
07[13:15] * +Fire_Lily wakes with a start, eyes scanning the room in nightmare-enduced panic. The events of yesterday had haunted her dreams. When she determines that there is no immediate danger, she reflects back on the events of yesterday.
07[13:15] * +SmartCookie starts trotting up the next floor, snooping around, maybe they were all there.
07[13:16] * +Primer haistily stuffs her bear away before anypony can see it and starts to stretch her legs.
07[13:18] * +SmartCookie starts knocking gently on the doors of that floor. Maybe somebody would answer.
15[13:18] * +Karina 's door is open, but she's still sound asleep.
04[13:19] * +SmartCookie looks at the door and then peeks in, spoting Karina. He trots in and gently nudges her.

15[13:20] * +Karina snorts in reaction to the nudge then rolls over. "...Hi..."
07[13:20] * +Primer looks to the little filly she's sharing the big open floor with. "Hey, you awake?" She asks Fire_Lily
07[13:21] * +SmartCookie smiles back at her and says aswell: "Hi." After a while he then asks: "Have you slept well?"
15[13:22] * +Karina blinks then moves to sit up on her bed, leaning against the wall. "Yeah... somehow..."
07[13:22] * +Fire_Lily 's ears perk, as her thoughts are interrupted by a sound. Was that knocking? She takes a step forward, then hesitates, suddenly realizing she is very, very alone. Turning back towards the stairs instead, in as loud a voice as she can muster, she shouts up the stairs, "Hello? I think there's somepony at the door!"
07[13:23] * +SmartCookie nods and then sits down where he stands. "What's the plan?", he than asks, quite sure he missed quite some things while sleeping.
15[13:24] * +Karina rubs her eyes. "Keen and Storm were talking last night. If there's a plan, they might know it."
07[13:25] * +Keen_Shine suddenly realizes that he's probably not going to be feeling well. He feels that acid rising in his stomach and dashes off to the in-room bathroom. After slumping himself over the toilet with no avail, he meekly notes that this place needs to be cleaned up a bit.
[13:25] <+Primer> [Redact former post] Primer's ears pick up Lily's shout from downstairs and walks down to the first floor to inverstigate.
07[13:26] * +SmartCookie nods and then lays down, putting his head on the floor. "My neck is killing me...", he silently complains.
15[13:27] * +Karina blinks, trying to remember if Cookie got shot or something the day before. "Why?"
07[13:28] * +SmartCookie snickers and little and says rolling his eyes in self irony: "Sleeping on the floor and somehow managing to get all limbs tangled up doesn't help a bit."
[13:31] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The knocking on the door comes again, though no more insistant or hurried than before.
15[13:31] * +Karina chuckles quietly then crawls off her bed and picks a few things up from her cloak that's laying out. "Didn't get a chance to do much other than clean after we seized the place. Need to go find a place to put these." She starts heading down to the second floor.
07[13:32] * +Fire_Lily gives Primer a nervous look as she walks down the stairs, briefly glancing back at the door. "I heard knocking. I didn't want to open it... by myself..." Instinctually, as the other pony exits the stairs, she stands on the opposite side of her than the door.
04[13:32] * +SmartCookie looks up at Karina, moving his neck a little too fast and cringing. "We have a place to stay now?", he then asks, getting back up, this time a little more careful, following Karina.
15[13:33] * +Karina shrugs a bit as she goes down the stairs. "Here."
07[13:35] * +Keen_Shine dizzily gets up off the toilet and stumbles side by side out of his room and towards the door. He looked like he's gone through hell. Probably smelled it too. "What's the issue again?"
07[13:35] * +SmartCookie nods and then scritches his chin. "I guesse i could get that Workbench set up and not carry it around..."
07[13:36] * +Primer gives Lily a reashuring pat on the head. "Well, lets see who's out there." She walks up to the door, remembers herself, and then reloads her gun, just to be on the safe side. After that she proceeds to slowly opens the door a crack, peering out.
15[13:36] * +Karina nods as she lays out a couple spare pistols, a bunch of food, chems, and... wine bottles.
07[13:37] * +SmartCookie walks over to the wall of the second floor and starts unpacking the workbench, rebuilding it. Talk about getting a chip of ones shoulder...
[13:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 From outside the door, you see the wall-eyed pegasus ghoul staring at you through the crack. She waves, smiling.
04[13:37] * +Desert_Storm raises her head. She wasn't asleep! She was just.... resting her eyes! There was knocking coming from the front door, had she really missed that pony walk up front? She spots Karina and Cookie heading downstairs and collects her things.
07[13:39] * +SmartCookie wipes his brow after setting up the bench and looks around the floor, heading down. If it was for him to claim a room, he could do so later aswell.
07[13:40] * +Desert_Storm stops the earth pony at the stairs. "Hey, I uh...." she said under her breath, "I.... need a favor."
07[13:40] * +Fire_Lily tries to resist peeking out the door, succeeding for only a moment before she gives in and looks outside.
[13:40] <+Primer> "Oh, uhm, hello missus ghoul lady." Oh, hells, what was her name... Right, she fell asleep. Well, she was okay even with her eyes. Primer opens the door wide.
[13:41] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Ditzy smiles broadly and trots inside. She has a bundle of cloth tucked beneath one of her featherless wings. She looks over to Fire Lily and smiles, beckoning for her to come closer.
15[13:42] * +Karina finishing position the things and wipes her hooves off on her cl- no, not her cloak. Her cloak is upstairs. Guess she doesn't wipe her hooves off at all. Wait, where'd Primer go? And... why are there voices downstairs? She grunts as she gets back up and walks down the stairs to the first floor.

07[13:46] * +Fire_Lily looks at the ghoul in surprise, clearny not expecting to see her again so soon. "Uh... hi!" She inches closer at the ghoul's insistance, trying to inspect the bundle she is carrying. "What's that?"
07[13:46] * +Keen_Shine gives Ditzy a big friendly- well. A small friendly smile that wished it could be a big smile. Even on a bad day, he couldn't force himself not to be kind of happy around her. "Hey, Ditzy." He said weakly.
07[13:46] * +SmartCookie looks over to Desert_Storm and asks: "Huh? What will it be?", still a little groggy from the bad sleep.
[13:47] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The ghoul looks up and waves to her fellow pegasus, smiling at his wearing the duster she gave him. She then places the cloth parcel at Lily's feet. She pats the filly on the head and smiles, then points to an attached note.
07[13:48] * +Desert_Storm pulls out the rifle she got last night, unwrapping the blanket around it. Damn this thing was in rough shape. "I... need you to fix this. I'm afraid it'll fall apart on me if I fire it after Primer's explosion almost slagged it."
07[13:49] * +Fire_Lily looks at the ghoul, then to the note, puzzled, and reads it.
15[13:49] * +Karina looks around the floor as she comes out of the stairwell. She double-takes at the pegasus. "I think you need another nap, Keen, you look like crap."
07[13:49] * +SmartCookie looks at the rifle and then back up to Storm. "I can do that, but i can't promise anything.", he then says looking over to the workbench.
[13:50] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The note is scratchy and barely legible, but it reads: 'Sorry that you got caught up in this mess. Since the slavers didn't leave you anything, I thought I should make sure you were looked after, at least a little bit.'

07[13:53] * +SmartCookie after a while tests the gun and then brings it back to Storm. "Here ya go chief. Couldn't unfuck it completely though, so you better treat her right, if you think about keeping it."

[13:56] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Ditzy smiles and returns the filly's hug. She releases it, then prods the package, which rolls open to reveal three boxes of pre-war food, one bottle of pureified water, one healing potion and 50 bottlecaps. In addition, the cloth itself is a cloak made of heavy mesh.\
07[13:56] * +Keen_Shine blinks a bit and tries to roll his eyes and stops mid way. "Good. Look like it. Feel like it. Just need the matching saddlebags and I'm a big steaming pile of-" Oh, hey. There was a filly there.
07[13:57] * +Primer sits down and tries to rub the sleep out of her eyes. "Looks like good stuff." She comments as she sees the contents of the bundle.
07[13:58] * +SmartCookie looks around and then snickers at keen. "Talking about a bad awaking.", he says, taking a peek at the unrolled bundle aswell.

07[14:05] * +Keen_Shine grimaces and wiggles out a wing out of the flap. "Erm. I've had these for a while. I didn't know if you would take it well or not so I kind of just... Didn't use them."
07[14:05] * +Fire_Lily inspects the contents, separating and draping the cloak around herself first, making sure it fit.

[14:07] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Ditzy watches Lily sift through the package and putting the cloak on. She looks like she wanted to make sure it fit properly as well.
15[14:07] * +Karina snorts at that explanation. She gets up and heads upstairs to get breakfast and a cola. She comes back down to the first floor to watch and eat.
07[14:09] * +Keen_Shine rubs his poor mutated stomach, still shivering and in the middle of a cold sweat. "I just... Ugh. Hold on. I need to talk to Ditzy." He trots on over to her and waits for her to finish with Fire_Lily, lending a wing or a hoof when possible.
15[14:09] * +Karina also dragged her cloak down, it's now lying in a heap next to her as she eats.

04[14:10] * +SmartCookie looks at Karina as she arrives again, before watchin the others. It was weird. He thought they get out of Hovelhoof and into the wastes, for a proper expedition, but now they were still in Manehatten and now had a home.

07[14:10] * +Desert_Storm takes Gasoline Dreams and holds it in her hooves, running the parts through a few test shots. Everything was in working order. Cookie knew his stuff. She slings it across her back and joins everyone downstairs.
07[14:10] * +Fire_Lily smiles at the ghoul, satisfied with how it fits. "I like it!" In her inspection, she finds some pockets on the inside; within seconds she tucks the caps into one.

[14:11] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Ditzy beams at the filly's approval, and pats her on the head again. She then turns and trots over to keen, nodding for him to go on.
07[14:12] * +Keen_Shine trots reluctantly on outside, motioning with his hoof and tail that he wanted her to follow.
07[14:13] * +SmartCookie looks at Storm and asks: "I hope i could fix'er up well enough."

07[14:14] * +Desert_Storm gives Cookie a slight grin. "It's fine." She its down and opens a package of rations. She was starving.

15[14:17] * +Karina finishes off her food and cola. She sighs and goes about wiggling back into her cloak. At minimum they were going to have to go back and tell Cap that they had freed the missing merchants.

07[14:22] * +Desert_Storm eyes the filly, who is clearly deep in concentration. "What about her?"
07[14:23] * +SmartCookie looks over to the filly. He didn't get what happened last night as he went to sleep quite early. He gives a shrug at Storm after a while.
07[14:24] * +Fire_Lily is not paying very much attention, instead still thinking
[14:27] <+Primer> "Well, she is kinda young.
07[14:27] * +SmartCookie finally says: "I Guesse we should be heading out once everybody gets done with their grub."
15[14:27] * +Karina realizes she forgot something upstairs again and moves back Storm and Cookie to go get it. "It occurs to me we should let her do... whatever she prefers."
04[14:28] * +SmartCookie nods and agrees to Karina. "Hope she doesn't get shot up out there."
15[14:29] * +Karina calls back down. "Well that's probably the boys' job."

07[14:30] * +SmartCookie raises his brow and calls up: "How the Heck should i take that one?!"
07[14:30] * +Desert_Storm chokes on a piece of her food. "Are you joking?  That's rediculous! We can't let her stay with us! You ponies are like danger magnets! She's as good as dead."
07[14:31] * +Fire_Lily gives a sigh and glances toward the group, watching them talk.
07[14:31] * +Keen_Shine trots on back into the building, tucking something under his wing. "Which is part of why we're going to Gutterville."
07[14:32] * +SmartCookie looks at Storm and asks: "Did you get the same of her words as i did?"
15[14:32] * +Karina steps out of the stairwell back onto the first floor, giving Storm a look as she passes.
07[14:34] * +Desert_Storm returns her look. Saying, without words, You're seriously considering it, aren't you?
07[14:34] * +Keen_Shine coughs and shudders a bit. "Look. The people over there totally owe us one, especially Gardenia. The best thing we can do for her, the safest we can make her is setting her up there."
07[14:35] * +SmartCookie watches both of them and then let's his head hang a little. He then looks over to Keen and says: "Let's get going then."
15[14:36] * +Karina shrugs as she continues walking for the front door. "Got a better idea?"
07[14:36] * +SmartCookie starts heading for the frontdoor aswell.
07[14:36] * +Primer gives Lily a glance as she licks the last pieces of corn out of the can and tosses it onto a waste barrel, the little filly, while young, shouldn't really be with a group such as them. Although, she was as safe with them as with anypony else in the wasteland.
15[14:36] * +Karina "Well actually Keen's is better, at least there she won't get shot."
07[14:37] * +Desert_Storm wanted to say something. "I....." she did't have a better idea.
07[14:38] * +Primer raises her voice. "Uhm, how do we know there is even room for her in Gutterville? I mean, does anypony want to take her in? What if they dont?"
07[14:38] * +Keen_Shine sighs. "I'll go grab my things." He trots uneasily to his room, and collects his things. On a whim, he decides to look in the bathroom for a towel before cantering to meet up the rest. Every traveler needs a towel, and since he wasn't wearing one anymore, he needed something to replace it.
07[14:38] * +SmartCookie looks at Primer and says: "We'll see about that, when we're there."
15[14:38] * +Karina looks at Primer as she flips her hood up and walks out the door. "Then it -occurs- to me that we should let her do whatever -she- prefers."
07[14:39] * +Fire_Lily watches the group head for the door, almost immediately following behind as if it was the most natural thing in the world. After listening for a bit, she finally starts to piece things together. "You're all talking about me, aren't you?"

04[14:39] * +SmartCookie looks over at Karina and says: "I agree with that. As long as it doesn't affect any third party."
07[14:40] * +SmartCookie looks over to the filly and gives a snort. Ain't that a smart-cookie.
15[14:40] * +Karina pokes her head back in the doorway. "Also there's two safes up there on the third level, if anyone cares." She turns around and heads back outside.

07[14:41] * +Fire_Lily gives the group as stern a look as she can muster. "I can take care of myself, you know!"
07[14:41] * +Desert_Storm trots up to the little filly and looks her in the eyes. "I'm sure you can. Did you wind up in that cell taking care fo yourself?"
07[14:42] * +SmartCookie stops on his ways and looks back up at the stairs... Locks to pick... Hard to resist. Me gives the filly another snort, before heading back up and trying his luck with those honeypots.
07[14:43] * +Keen_Shine looks quite content as he trots on with his beautifully crafted Saudi Aneighbian bright yellow towel. It's like the Lamborghini of towels.
15[14:45] * +Karina makes it down to the intersection before she realizes nobody actually followed her.
07[14:45] * +Fire_Lily glares at Desert_Storm, not amused at all. "They got lucky." She glances between each offending party, trying to think of a way to prove her worth. "Look... I can help! I can do lots of things."
07[14:45] * +Primer sits down, rummaging around in her pack for the stuff she had woken up beside, four mines made out of lunchboxes and a scematic... ah, there. Primer pulls out the Big Book O' Boom and starts to read.
07[14:46] * +Desert_Storm raises an eyebrow.
07[14:46] * +Keen_Shine canters on out the door, still looking rather worse for wear, but at least with something bright and cheery on his back.
15[14:47] * +Karina sits down on the corner to wait for- RADROACHES! Yes! Ok, now just need to find some more herbs cause she used up what she had, but yes! She goes about joyfully stomping on the roaches and collecting their legs and non-messy parts.
07[14:48] * +SmartCookie returns having no luck with those locks. After coming back he looks around. Nobody was moving out apparently.
07[14:49] * +Primer looks up. "Right, lets go."

07[14:53] * +Primer whispers to Fire_Lily. "Honestly, that pegasus is as stubborn as a mule, better to just let it go, I'm sure you are perfectly capable to take care of yourself."
07[14:54] * +Keen_Shine blinks. "Erm. Once. I fell through a floor of ashes and into a craps table once and played with dice twice my size. Though I think that's different. Why?"

[15:08] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The party gets under way, heading back towards Gutterville. After about an hour, they arrive at the gate, which is opened immediately at the sight of them.

07[15:11] * +Keen_Shine sighs without opening his mouth, his face still desperate and sick, but resolute. "I'm good friends with everypony. I'm just that friendly." He said with no small amount of irony in his voice.
07[15:11] * +Desert_Storm has one thing on her mind. Bottle's Place. She brushes past the group towards the tavern. She adds as she leaves. "Whatever you say, squirt."
04[15:12] * +SmartCookie snickers at Keen and says: "Keep up the good works then.", clearly getting his irony. He then follows Karina towards Cap's store.
15[15:12] * +Karina enters the building and goes about looking for usable flasks and any/all his .22 and 10mm bullets.
07[15:12] * +SmartCookie walks up to Cap and says: "Hey, we're back."
[15:13] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap looks up from his workbench at the opposite side of the room. He was patching up a plate on the security robot he rebuilt. "Well well, if it isn't my best customers. Welcome back."
07[15:14] * +Primer thinks for a minute. "So, Lily, do you honestly want to stay with us?"
07[15:14] * +Keen_Shine sits pretty outside the road leading into town, eating a tin of beans and sucking on some water from his canteen. He noted mildly to himself that his stomach heat died down when he ate those, circumstances being, glorious pre-war things. Maybe that's what the burn was all about. Maybe he was just hungry.
[15:14] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 In front of Gardenia's clinic is another caravan, this one with just a cart and a pony. Gardenia can be seen talkign with him.
07[15:14] * +SmartCookie nods and says: "We got the Merchant-buisness figured out. There shouldn't be any problems with supplies any time soon."
[15:15] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap smiles broadly; "Wonderful! What was the situation, if I might ask?"
07[15:16] * +SmartCookie reports: "There were a couple of slavers withing the city ruins, ambushing caravans. We managed to get rid of them eventually."
07[15:16] * +Keen_Shine smiles and thanks his good fortune. He shakily trots on up to the two and tips an imaginary hat. "Good day, ponies. I have business to do with Doc Hoof here when you're done, ma'am."
[15:16] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle's Taven is open, but sparsely populated. The usual pair of night guards can be seen, drinking as usual. Bottle stands behind the counter, polishing a glass.
[15:18] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia turns around at the sound of Keen's voice and absolutely beams at him. She pulls him into a hug; "Oh, welcome back. Doc Hoof here ran into Ditzy this morning and he told me what he heard. I'm so glad you're alright."
07[15:19] * +Fire_Lily gives Primer a thoughtful look before nodding.
07[15:19] * +Keen_Shine meekly blushes. His shaking would be obvious to her, as well as the sweetly sad smile he gave her. "Just doing what I can."
[15:19] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia backs up and takes a proper look at Keen; "You don't look so good. What happened?"
07[15:20] * +Primer lokks at Lily as the filly sits on her back. "Sooo, you do know that you need to pass a test to join out group, right?"
15[15:20] * +Karina idly sifts through various objects in Cap's store as she looks for every trace of what she's looking for.
[15:21] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap grimaces; "Slavers? In Manehattan. Goodness. Well, that's one thing I can be glad was nipped in the bud. That's the last thing I need competing for my business."
07[15:21] * +Fire_Lily gives the other pony a puzzled look. "A test? What kind of test?"
07[15:21] * +Keen_Shine frowns. "I think the question is 'what didn't happen'. It's part of why I wanted to speak with Doc Hoof here. May I have some privacy with the Doctor, please?"
07[15:21] * +Desert_Storm grins as she strides up to the bar. She can barely contain herself as she says "Howdy there, I'm going to need two glasses of Wild Pegasus, on the rocks." Her southern accent was just as shitty as it had been when they first met.
07[15:22] * +Primer intones ominusly. "A secret test. Think you're up for it?"
07[15:22] * +SmartCookie nods and says: "You shouldn't give me too much credit though, i was more or less a 5th wheel.", he says sheepishly running a hoof through his mane. "So what now?", he then asks.
[15:22] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia nods, then gathers the supplies she bartered from Doc Hoof, taking them into her Clinic. Hoof turns and smiles at Keen; "Well then, I know that look. You're a pony that needs a fix; what can Doc Hoof set you up with?"

[15:25] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap shrugs; "Well, ya got any business to take care of? Don't gotta worry about supplies now according to you, so I don't have to be stingy."
07[15:25] * +Keen_Shine sighs as she goes back inside, adopting a much more serious tone. "I need a good amount of fixer. Can you provide this?"
07[15:26] * +Fire_Lily frowns. "A lookout? THAT'S your big, secret test?"
[15:26] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doc Hoof smirks; "Fixer I can do, although I can't say it's the best policy for business. Not gonna stop ya from tryin' to sober up of course, just sayin'."

07[15:29] * +Keen_Shine gives him a grave look. "Thanks, but I don't even know what I'm on, to be honest. I... May have taken a cocktail trying to save some poor bastard." He realized then he hadn't even gotten his name. Way to be a hero, Keen. "I believe six doses will suffice in getting me through it. How much?"
07[15:30] * +Primer lifts a hoof in a placating gesture. "Oaky, so it isnt exactly a test, more like a quick little way to get some extra caps, but I need a lookout to make sure that no guards show up unannounced, and in return I'll speak up for you."
07[15:31] * +SmartCookie trots over to Primer and the Filly and listens to them while taking a drag of his cigarette.
[15:31] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doc hoof looks away and counts in his head. He then turns around and pulls out a tin of fixer from his cart. "You're in luck, I got just enough to fill yer order. Careful though, too much of this stuff can give you hella nausea. Don't take more than two a day. That'll be 60 caps."

07[15:32] * +SmartCookie looks testing at Primer and asks her: "So what have you been cooking up again?", taking another drag.

07[15:35] * +Keen_Shine grimaces. "I'm sorry Doc. I've got EBCMS. I'm going to need to." He says, hoofing over a few bits before a thought occurred. He dug out an inhaler out of his medical box, holding it in his hoof gingerly. "I don't suppose I could reduce the cost by selling some of this stimulant?"
15[15:35] * +Karina brings an abundance of 10mm and .22LR ammo to Cap's counter, as well as all the flasks she could find. She pulls out two 10mm pistols and a bunch of pre-war coins and sets them in a separate pile.
07[15:36] * +Fire_Lily watches the exchange with interest, and grins mischievously. "Oh, so you DIDN'T tell him about your secret plans?"
07[15:37] * +SmartCookie looks over to the filly and then back to Primer taking another long drag. "Just don't get us into trouble, you hear? If they kick us out, we only got the traveling merchants for supplies.", he says.
07[15:37] * +Primer looks up suddenly. "Oh, look, the bar. Fancy a Sparkle~Cola Lily? I know I do." Primer sets off, apparently oblivious to Cookie's precence or his last comment.
[15:38] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doc Hoof smiles; "Tell ya what; I'll swap ya three dash plus 15 caps for the six fixer."
07[15:38] * +SmartCookie trots behind them. He shure could use something to eat. After entering he trots up to the bar.
07[15:38] * +Desert_Storm rubs the back of her neck with a hoof. "We, uh, ran into some trouble while looking for those caravans. And," she added with a smile, "I was lucky it was just my wing. I've changed my mind, do you have any coffee?"
04[15:39] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap looks over the stuff Karina dumped on the counter and gives a whistle; "Quite a haul. I take it you got this stuff over those slavers you dealt with?"
07[15:39] * +Primer trotts up to the bar ant taps it twice. "Two Colas, pronto."
[15:40] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle chuckles; "If ya'll don't mind that it tastes like an old boot. It'll wake you up, but i'll kick yer flank in the process."

15[15:40] * +Karina clears her throat, only -slightly- nervous... "The... the coins we found at the outlet on the way to the hospital. The pistols are from the slavers from yesterday."
07[15:40] * +Keen_Shine digs in his bags for three inhalers and hoofs them over as well as throwing some caps at him. "Deal." He remembered that he took some of that when he killed those buggers. Was it that... Keen shook his head, opened his tin, and took the one pill left in there before holding it out for him to fill up.
07[15:40] * +SmartCookie looks at primer and then back to the barmaid.
[15:41] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap nods; "Now, I can't help but notice you like to keep things quiet. How's my old .22 SMG been treatin' ya?"
[15:41] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doc Hoof takes the inhalers and slips them with the rest of his wars before turning over the fresh tin of Fixer to Keen. "Pleasure doin' business wit' ya."
15[15:42] * +Karina "Um... good... but it keeps jamming. Well... both my twenty-twos do..."
[15:43] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap frowns; "Had that problem myself. .22's are small and jerky; they jam a little too easy. Might have something here than can keep you quiet, but give you somethign a little sturdier to shoot with."
15[15:44] * +Karina cocks her head. "...Oh?"
[15:46] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle looks past Storm as Primer walks in with the filly. "Aww, ain't she precious. New friend of yours?" She turns around and floats out a pair of sparkle colas. She takes the caps for herself, then shoves them across the counter. She also floats up an old coffee pot, a bag of grounds and gets to work with them at her hot-plate."

07[15:47] * +Primer hoofs one bottle to Lily and bumps the filly down on a stool of her own before sitting down.
[15:48] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap's horn lights up and a pair of metal cylinders float up from behind the counter. "Silencers built for a 10mm pistol," he claims. "Not too hard to come by; lotsa people like to keep more subtle ordinance at their disposal."

15[15:50] * +Karina 's eyes light up... not that it could especially be seen under her hood. "Ooooooh..." She nods emphatically.

07[15:52] * +Primer looks down on Fire_Lily. "Okay, so there werent any big test... but you'll probably be in just as much danger with us as stuck in here.

[15:52] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle turns around and smiles as the coffee begins to percolate. "Sure do; want something light, or something hearty?"
07[15:53] * +Keen_Shine flicks an ear up curiously, nerves already beginning to calm themselves. "Hrm? What is it?"
07[15:53] * +SmartCookie finally says: "I think something light will do just fine."
04[15:54] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap nods to Karina; "Tell ya what; I'll swap ya the silencers for a couple of those pistols. Got a couple people looking for some sidearms anyways."
07[15:55] * +Fire_Lily gives Primer a long look before speaking. "I've been out here alone for a long time, and that was the first time anything bad's happened! I can take care of myself! They just got lucky."
[15:55] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle nods and floats up a box of Sugar Apple Bombs. She pours a bowl for Cookie, then pushes it over with her magic while putting to box away. "Three caps please."

07[15:57] * +Desert_Storm looks over at Fire Lily. "You sound pretty sure of yourself. You ever fired a gun before?"
15[15:57] * +Karina "That... sounds fine. I've still got mine, and Primer has hers." She pauses for a second, thinking. "Oh! You sold a... thing..." she motions to the area a bandoleer would cross her chest, "to one of my friends... the one in the robe. It's like a sling... Do you have another one?"
[15:57] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia frowns at Keen; "I'm not stupid. Dealing secretly with a guy like Doc Hoof. I'm not going to yell at you or anything, I'm just going to warn you not to overdo it."

I thought I could take care of myself... and I spent ten years on my ass out in the slums, I dont want you to do the same." Primer sips her Cola, waiting for Fire_Lily's responce.

15[16:10] * +Karina goes about putting on her new bandoleer and stowing all her new goodies. Before she leaves, she looks back up at Cap. "Actually... do you have another one? I've got a friend who could use it since she doesn't usually use guns..."
07[16:10] * +Keen_Shine raises one of his forehooves and puts the tin away with the other. "I would've made the same assumption." He sighed. Here comes the hard part. "Anyway. I came inside because I have an orphan with me that needs a home."
[16:11] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap shakes his head; "Sorry, you and that other friend of yours took the only ones I had. Might wanna check in some other time. Or you could talk to Ditzy Doo of Absolutely Everything. As much as that sounds silly, it's not a boast."
[16:12] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia looks concerned; "An orphan? What happened? Is she sick or anything?" She suddenly looks very concerned.
07[16:12] * +Fire_Lily is quiet for a moment, not meeting Primer's gaze. Her response is still quiet. "It's better than hurting everypony you know... because you weren't good enough..."
15[16:12] * +Karina droops a tiny little bit. "Darn." She gets back up and starts to trot out of the store. "Thanks." With that, she ducks out back into the open and blends in.
07[16:14] * +Primer drags Fire_Lily into a half-hug. "Thinking you can go it alone is worse in the long run."
07[16:14] * +Desert_Storm sips it, oh so delicately. A wayward twitch from ligering pain in her wing jerks her hoof forward. Nearly a third of the cup sloshes around her mouth. She liked Bottle, but damn that was a terrible.
07[16:15] * +Keen_Shine shakes his head. "No, she's alright. Admittedly, I didn't do a check up on her, but she doesn't seem to have any visible symptoms. I came here because she needs some ponies that don't get shot at on a regular basis to live with. And, well." He gestures to her pleadingly.
07[16:16] * +Fire_Lily takes another drink, suddenly feeling not so talkative.
[16:17] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia nods; "Well, I know there's a couple families in town that might be willing to adopt her. If not, I live by myself anyways." She smiles; "Where is the foal?"
07[16:17] * +SmartCookie looks over the place and takes another drag. "Seven or eleven, snake eyes watchin' you... Double up or quit, double stakes or split...", he recites on while exhaling a little cloud of smoke.
15[16:17] * +Karina walks around the outskirts of Gutterville, testing out her new Bandoleer. Two pistols... smoke bomb... health potion... Oh this was good.

07[16:21] * +Desert_Storm slumps over the counter. She could hear her stomach yelling at her. "Thanks.... Bottle, I needed that." She says, trying to hide the grimace on her face.
[16:22] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle chuckles at Desert; "Ah warned ya'll it was strong. Want somethin' to wash that out with when you're done?"
15[16:22] * +Karina passes the clinic on her aimless wandering.

07[16:30] * +Keen_Shine smiles and kneels down to look at her at eye level. "Hey, Lily. I found you somepony that will take good care of you. You can have a mom and dad again, ponies that won't get you shot at like we will. Won't that be grand?"

15[16:33] * +Karina chuckles at 'grand' and sits down next to Primer. She starts fishing out the remaining silencer.
07[16:34] * +SmartCookie thinks to himself, wouldn't it be ~swell~ -winkwink- if that actually worked out keen's way?
07[16:34] * +Desert_Storm sighs audibly. What the hell...
07[16:36] * +Fire_Lily 's face quickly turns to anger. Normally she could deal with this... but after the conversation she just had, it was just too much. She shakes her head violently, closing her eyes as she tries to keep back tears. "No! No!" she suddenly shouts, "You don't /understand/!"
07[16:37] * +SmartCookie narrows his eyes and watches the filly. Yay stuff was going sideways...
07[16:37] * +Primer blanches slightly. "Well, explain it then."
[16:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia looks confused and a little hurt; "What's the matter dear? I know Mr. and Mrs. Lemongrass would love to have a cute little filly like you, and I heard you were all by yourself."
07[16:40] * +Desert_Storm couldn't sigh harder if she tried. She lifted her head and asked Bottle weakly, "You got anything to settle my stomach?"
15[16:40] * +Karina sets the second silencer on the bar and waits for Primer to be done with whatever scuffle they'd decided to raise now. She turns and tries to get Bottle's attention.
07[16:40] * +Keen_Shine wrinkles his brow in confusion. Wait, what? Why was this filly saying no to this? "I... What? Why not? What don't I understand? That we get shot at on a regular basis? If you hadn't noticed, I got shot in the gut and nearly died! Do you want that to happen to you?" He's doing a bad job at hiding his frustration.
[16:41] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle seemed to be watching the unfolding of events with interest, but goes back to business at the request. She fills a glass with water and gives it to Desert; "Best I can do sugarcube."
07[16:42] * +Fire_Lily looks at Primer when she speaks, so far the only one to treat her like she mattered, to treat her as /equals/. She sits down next to her, and leans her head against her, shaking. "I... I have parents... I ran away... I almost..." She chokes up at this, unable to finish the sentence. Instead she changes it to: "There was fire... everywhere. And it was my fault."
