- Each part of the 『Re:member』 titles has a Re:vale member's name, beginning
- with Banri (万理) in 'Banri Ikkuu' (万理一空), Yuki (千) in 'Senko Fuma'(千古不磨),
- and Momo (百) in 'Hyakusai Mukyuu' (百載無窮).
- I've complied the weblio, jisho, and yojijukugo jiten online definitions here
- since they're all super meaningful!
- 『万理一空』
- Quoted from a book by swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, the phrase "banri-ikkuu"
- means "everything in this world is under the same sky" and signifies allyship.
- It's a logical line of thought: "No matter where you go, the world is still the
- same." On the other hand, it may also be used in the context of mental fortitude,
- i.e. "No matter where I go, I'll be focused on the same goal and never stop
- working for it."
- 『千古不磨』
- "Senko-fuma" means permanence, immortality, eternity-- something that'll never
- disappear. It may also describe something that'll never come to an end and
- continue to be passed on. "Senko" refers to the faraway past, but can also mean
- something that has continued from the faraway past until the present. "Fuma" indicates
- that something won't be worn down. It is often used in the context of the the fine arts,
- crafts, or traditions, in that they will continue to be inherited and passed on.
- 『百載無窮』
- "Hyakusai-mukyuu" means "something that'll never disappear." "Hyakusai" (百載) as written
- in the compound can also be written as 「百歳」, which in turn means 'a hundred years.'
- This signifies eternity, perpetuity, immortality. Likewise, "mukyuu" means eternity,
- infinitude, immortality. The phrase refers to how heaven and earth are unchanging,
- everlasting.
