FoE RPG G0 - #015 Suburb: Offering

[19:53]<SpiritOfFate>	Group 0: *Epitaph* - Session #15 starts now
[19:53]<SpiritOfFate>	===============================================
[19:54]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebra travellers appraise the hoard gathered by the escaped slaves, talking quietly to one another as they shuffle through it.
[19:56]?	Firefly has gone back to working on her cloud structure. She is currently shaping the walls, slowly shaping the outside like there are large cloud cannons pointing out of each wall.
[19:57]?	Wintergreen sighs and turns away from the zebras, watchin Firefly and making sure she doesn't hurt herself.
[19:58]?	Ignis inspect the items in silence, letting Sotho and the others do the talking.
[19:58]?	Sotho stands over the pile, looking to be the main salespony of the group
[19:58]?	Firefly finishes up on one wall and disappears into the cloud structure. A few moments later she flies over, using her hoof to eyeball something before she flies back in.
[19:59]?	Wintergreen raises her eyebrow at the cloud structure. Crazy filly.
[20:01]?	Firefly after a few minutes a brown filly-hoof pokes out of the structure, fight above one of the cannons. A blue eye can be seen as it looks down the the cannon, and giggling can be heard as she continues to do this above each cannon.
[20:16]<SpiritOfFate>	The two zebras finish looking into every item. "We can offer you 450 caps for what you shown us. There are not many people interested in buying all this. Maybe you'll have to leave some of our wares aside."
[20:18]?	Sotho raises his eyebrows. "I'm sure what we've collected is surely worth more than what you have stated, surely our work in getting these items is worth a few extra right?"
[20:20]?	Sotho also looks over their goods. "And surely you are over exergerating the price of these goods somewhat." He looks at a few of the items as closely as he could. "I can see many things that would normally lower the price in normal vendors."
[20:22]<SpiritOfFate>	They look one to another, pondering, unsure if they are going to
[20:24]<SpiritOfFate>	pull of the sale
[20:31]<SpiritOfFate>	"Well, since we would rather not spend too much time here, we can accept your offer."
[20:34]<SpiritOfFate>	From high in her cloud, Firefly sees a group of ponies in sports gear approaches. They carry bats and spears.
[20:34]?	Sotho nods. "We will accept your offer as well
[20:35]?	Hawkeye lets out a low whistle. "Gotta hand it to you, Sotho," she says, "Y'all got some mighty fine bargaining skills." She looks over to Ignis. "How do you want to split them 5.56 rounds, pardner? Seeing as how we use the same gun but I'm a mite more careful with my shots, I don't need quite as many."
[20:35]?	Sotho smiles
[20:35]?	Firefly takes squints her eyes as she looks at the group of ponies approaching. Are they fillies and colts?
[20:36]?	Ignis hmmms a bit, "50-50 would be best...we'll sort it out afterwards if one of us need more...perhaps we can scavenge around other guns, with luck."
[20:37]<SpiritOfFate>	Firefly sees the group is composed of 3 adult stallions and 2 mares.
[20:37]?	Firefly cocks her head before flying out of the castle. She lands next to the Sotho and the zebra traders. "Um...excuse me? Does anyone know a bunch of big ponies carrying bats and spears?"
[20:38]?	Sotho looks to Firefly worried as he trades everything. "I believe we should leave."
[20:38]<Hawkeye>	"And them hollerpoints?" Hawkeye asks. "You spit lead like crazy, but I'm a sharpshooter. I'm more like to be able to use those against soft targets or limbs..." She breaks off and looks up at Firefly. "Uh, that don't sound good. We didn't buy near enough bullets to start a ruckus this soon after the last one. And them's probably more Sand Raiders."
[20:39]?	Firefly giggles as she looks at the others. "They aren't carrying guns...oooh! Can I fire my cannons at them?"
[20:39]?	Wintergreen blinks. "Your... cannons?"
[20:40]?	Ignis raises his eyebrows. "I don't spit like crazy...I just...shoot a bit faster."
[20:40]<SpiritOfFate>	The two zebras give a nervous look to each other. "We must leave now. Farewell." They say as they rushedly gather their purchases
[20:41]?	Firefly giggles. "You'll see!" She puts the brass shoes on her hind hooves but gives the leather to Sotho. "Mr. Sotho, can you hold this for me? I'm gonna fire my cannons." Firefly tries to sneak back into her cloud structure.
[20:41]?	Hawkeye cocks an eyebrow at Ignis. "Son, you shoot that rifle o' yours about as fast as most folk operate an assault rifle. Now Ah suggest we get going, sooner 'stead of later."
[20:41]?	Sotho looks at the filly oddly but shrugs and holds it
[20:41]?	Wintergreen shakes her head and calls out, "Firefly, we should be leaving, not shooting at them!"
[20:41]?	Ignis holds himself from remarking on that. "Sure, keep them..."
[20:42]<Ignis>	"We should get on the move, then..."
[20:47]?	Hawkeye raises a hoof tentatively and looks at the merchants. "Y'all better get... I don't want to think what'd happen if they catch up to y'all..." She bites her lip. "I'll hold 'em off if I have to. But we'd best hurry."
[20:48]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye, Sotho and Firefly manage to get a glimpse of Bloodshed perched on the roof of an old two story house.
[20:49]?	Hawkeye grits her teeth at the sight, and nudges Sotho. "Or we could get rid of creepy bleedy an' creepy flamey by takin' out a few raiders that Wintergreen WON'T have an attack of conscience over takin' out."
[20:50]?	Sotho sighs. "I suppose it would kill two birds wiht one stone..." He contimplates.
[20:50]?	Wintergreen frowns at the jab, though remains silent.
[20:50]?	Ignis shrugs, preparing his weapon. "We got time to armor up?"
[20:53]<Hawkeye>	"So long as y'all put it on quick-like," she says. "Here, let me help." She moves to assist whoever needs to put on armor, before looking up at Bloodshed. Would the house make a good sniper nest?
[20:54]?	Firefly is about to fly away when one of the leather armor's catches her eye. It has modifications for her wings. In a flurry of activity Firefly pounces on the armor and puts it on.
[20:55]<SpiritOfFate>	One of the armors seem to have outfitted a pegasus before, though what has been of them is uncertain. The building has a few cracks, but it didn't start to crumble yet
[20:56]?	Ignis looks over at Wintergreen and points at the armors. "Get one, hun...the weather is going to turn pretty quick."
[20:56]?	Wintergreen quickly slips into the scrap armor, leaving the better armors for the others.
[20:57]?	Wintergreen takes the healing supplies after, moving to the back of the group.
[20:57]?	Hawkeye finishes helping Firefly and others. "I'll see if I can't slow them varmints down," she says, then scoots off to crawl up to the second floor of the house to gain a sniper position before the approaching ponies get too close.
[20:57]?	Ignis dons the metal armor, then.
[20:58]?	Firefly takes the opportunity to fly up to hide in her Fortress of Fillitude, manning the cannons from inside. Nobody can stop Iron Mare!
[20:58]?	Sotho prepares himself then looks up to Bloodshed, remember his villages shamin did before. "I devote this battle to you Bloodshed." He says loud enough.
[20:59]<SpiritOfFate>	The two sides of Bloodshed smile wickedly
[20:59]?	Wintergreen takes out her energy pistol, ready to fire.
[21:00]<SpiritOfFate>	Shouts from around the corner start as they hear Sotho
[21:37]<SpiritOfFate>	The Sand Raiders come around the corner. "Who's looking for a fight?!" A bulky unicorn in heavy armor says.
[21:41]?	Firefly responds by firing the cannons! Her hind legs curl up and spring out, impacting the X inside the cloud structure. The Cannon spits out thick bolt of lightning as the backwash of electricity runs up Firefly's legs. The lightning impacts the raider, and he suddenly gains a new appreciation for electricity.
[21:44]<SpiritOfFate>	The armored raider is toasted by the lightning, starting to smoke slightly as he shakes himself from the shock. "The fuck was that?!"
[21:48]?	Ignis eschews his rubber bullets for now and takes regular ones from the bandolier...he aims at the raiders, more specifically, at the one wearing metal armor...too bad he wasn't wearing a helmet. The dragon takes his time to lay a couple of shots aimed to his head.
[21:53]<SpiritOfFate>	The metal raider falls on his back, holding his wound and cursing.
[22:07]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye lines up two careful shots at the legs of the armored pony. He is left a mangled mess from the heavy assault, but somehow he is still alive.

[22:17]?	Sotho stands waiting for the attacks to close in
[22:24]?	Wintergreen holds her aim forward, waiting for the raiders to move closer.
[22:33]?	Firefly turns the cannon toward the one with the spear. She coils her hind legs to fire again...and feels a surge of 'rightness' through her, as if she was meant to do this. She doesn't even feel the cannon fire again or the backwash of electricity. Lightning arcs from her feathers and between her hooves as the clouds break apart.
[22:35]<Firefly>	Those who are perceptive can notice a flash of light from Firefly's flanks.
[22:36]?	Sotho smiles as he notices this flash of light
[22:37]?	Wintergreen smiles widely, thinking briefly that perhaps Firefly should get a party...
[22:37]<SpiritOfFate>	The Sand Rider is hurled backwards, losing his spear on the ground. He lays on the ground with his chest charred, knocked unconscious.
[22:44]?	Ignis reloads his gun, then puts a couple of shots at the armored raider and another couple at the spear raider.
[22:55]<SpiritOfFate>	The metal armored raider finally falls on a pool of his own blood. The others look at him. "Those fuckers killed the captain!" The mare in the middle just grins, readying her bat. "Fuck him. I'm the captain now."
[23:07]<SpiritOfFate>	The mare looks over at the group. "Oooh, I want that zebra for the cheering team." She says with a wicked smile. She dashes to the fallen unicorn and takes a pouch from him, running behind the wall. "Ahh, yes!!!"
[23:08]<SpiritOfFate>	One of the two charges ahead towards Ignis.
[23:09]?	Ignis just chuckles. "Silly raiders..."
[23:14]?	Sotho raises his eyebrows. Muttering "Cheering team?"
[23:15]?	Wintergreen fires four energy beams out at the charging raider, hoping to end her before she gets to Sotho.
[23:19]<SpiritOfFate>	The raider is engulfed by magical energy as he swings and Ignis is hit by a harmless cloud of magic dust.
[23:20]?	Royal_Lace has quit (Quit: Page closed)
[23:20]?	Ignis doesn't blink...at all.
[23:21]?	Sotho stares in awe and chuckles. "Good shot."
[23:21]?	Wintergreen scratches her head. "Huh."
[23:22]?	Firefly grows wide eyes as she looks down at the light show. "Ooooh...pretty lights."
[23:25]<SpiritOfFate>	The other raider looks back at the mare "Hey, don't hog all of it!" Looking back. "Huh? Where did he go? ...little bitch." He pulls a dash inhaler with his tail, using it and charging towards Sotho.
[23:29]?	Sotho readies himself for the raider coming close
[23:38]<SpiritOfFate>	The raiders take Sotho's blows, but turns his bat back with all his strength, even bruised as he was.
[23:38]?	Sotho cries out as he is hurt greatly, panting
[23:43]<SpiritOfFate>	The spearmare turns around the corner. "Is that a fucking Siren? Why won't they die already?!" She says, flinging two spears at Hawkeye.
[23:45]<SpiritOfFate>	One of the spears just falls early, but the other manages to hit the mare.
[23:51]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye answers with her own gun, piercing the flesh of the Sand Raider.
[00:01]?	Sotho attacks with what vigor he has left, his muscle pulling on the first hit.
[00:03]<SpiritOfFate>	The raider looks at Sotho, enraged but dazed and barely standing.
[00:04]<SpiritOfFate>	Wintergreen,
[00:05]?	Sotho also backs away towards Wintergreen
[00:07]?	Wintergreen closes the remaining distance to Sotho, looking to him in worry and taking out a single healing potion. She leans his head back, quickly pouring the potion down his throat.
[00:13]?	Firefly flies down, delivering a swift kick to the raider. Electricity leaps out to jump into the raider. The raider falls into a twitching heap, and Firefly positions herself between the raiders and her friends, hovering a half foot above the ground.
[00:19]?	Ignis has a hunch and scoots off to catch a glimpse at the pony hiding around...
[00:22]<SpiritOfFate>	Ignis can see the mare behind the wall. Her veins visibly pulse, she foams and her eyes are bloodshot. She looks at Ignis' way.
[00:22]?	Ignis whistles at the mare, not being intimidated.
[00:23]<Ignis>	"Hey, you two caps whore...stop hiding like a wuss and come get a piece of this lizard!" He cackles.
[00:26]?	Ignis takes aim and fires a warning shot at the mare
[00:31]<SpiritOfFate>	The mare turns to him, lunging like a beast, her burying themselves on the bat's handle. She swings.
[00:33]?	Ignis finches a bit, but stands his ground...a deranged, maddened smile over his face.
[00:40]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye turns her gun to the drug-crazed mare and fires.
[00:42]?	Sotho thanks Wintergreen happily before looking to raider left by him and attacks
[00:44]?	Sotho attacks the raider infront of him several times
[00:47]<SpiritOfFate>	Sotho's strikes ripple over the mare's flesh an armor, but she doesn't show to feel them.
[00:57]<SpiritOfFate>	The last standing spear raider stares at all the chaos and the remains of her group. "Fuck that, I'm out." She runs.
[01:01]?	Wintergreen sees no reason to shoot after the fleeing raider and waste spark cells, and sees the other raider surrounded by both Ignis and Sotho. She puts away her pistol and takes out a healing potion, galloping to the pair in case one gets hurt from the last raider.
[01:10]?	Firefly flies in against the drugged-out mare. She delivers a firm kick to the mare's chest before performing a flip in mid-air, connecting rear hoof to the mare's chin. She repeats this, each time electricity sparking off of Firefly on contact with the drugged-out mare.
[01:12]<SpiritOfFate>	The bones crack and deep wounds open and pour, yet the drugs keep the former mare standing, growling.
[01:15]?	Ignis steps up to the mare,  having no doubts or regrets...and simply pours fire over the resulting mess that one day used to be a being.
[01:24]<SpiritOfFate>	The burning chem psycho stares back at Ignis, raising her bat.
[01:27]<SpiritOfFate>	With a cough fit she drops it, vomiting blood under her and spazzing out, crumbling to her hooves.
[01:28]?	Wintergreen winces as the mare goes down.
[01:30]?	Sotho sighs happily as the mare goes down
[01:30]?	Ignis dusts himself off, looking around.
[01:31]?	Firefly flies up to look around, seeing if anymore raider ponies are coming. Seeing none, she flies down to the merchants. "Its safe now! No more Sand Riders are coming."
[01:32]?	Ignis roves around from corpse to corpse, seeing if there was anything worth saving there...
[01:32]<SpiritOfFate>	Firefly sees the two zebras a good distance from them already, but reachable in her speed
[01:33]?	Firefly shrugs and lets them leave. They got away, and that's the important thing. She flies back to the others, lightning sparking once before dying off as she lands next to Wintergreen. "There aren't anymore bad ponies, and the nice zebras are ok. We kept them safe, yeah!" Firefly claps her front hooves together happily.
[01:35]?	Wintergreen giggles and pats Firefly on the head. "Good job, Batmare." She smiles. "Especially with your cloud cannons."
[01:35]<SpiritOfFate>	One of the Sand Raiders is still alive, unconscious, burnt by shock and breathing shallowly. Bloodshed stands by his side, looking at Sotho.
[01:36]?	Firefly looks up at the sky where her cloud cannons once stood, sighing. "I'll miss those cannons. Can I make more of them, Miss Green? They were fun!"
[01:36]?	Wintergreen nods. "Of course you can."  She smiles, figuring she'd let Firefly notice her cutie mark on her own.
[01:37]?	Sotho looks to the sand raider and then to Bloodshed. "I know what you want me to do. But I devoted the battle to you. Our enemy cannot fight back, thus the battle is over." He tell them. "Was there not enough Blood poured from the last pony?"
[01:37]?	Firefly bounces up and down excitedly. "Yay! I'll build more right now!" Firefly looks up at the sky, looking around for clouds to turn into cannons.
[01:43]<SpiritOfFate>	Bloodshot looks over at the battle field covered in blood and ashes and nods to Sotho. "We accept your offering."
[01:44]?	Firefly sighs as she looks up at the clear sky. "Awe...no more cloud cannons. The filly kicks a pebble on the ground and pouts.
[01:44]<Sotho>	"Wait." He looks to them and pulls out a tablet of Buck and syring of Rage. "I offer these to you as well."
[01:45]<SpiritOfFate>	Bloodshot smiles, pleased.
[01:49]?	Sotho nods. "Thank your Bloodshed." He says to the spirit and turning to the rest of his group
