  47. The Jormungand was originally designed with an all-clantech secondary armament, with the SNPPC a clantech LPL, and the ERMLs originally of clan make. Barely three of these JR-1X-GND Jormungands had been made -- including the working prototype -- when the CJF incursion on Arc-Royal happened, leaving the project scrambling for a new source of clan-made parts. As an agreement was drafted up with Clan Space Jew to provide a source of the all-important engine, engineers quickly revised the Jormungand's secondary loadout to accept domestically-produced Inner Sphere weapons.
  48. The LAP was already in production on Kwangjong-Ni (because of)(thanks to)(due to) an earlier project intended to refit the Mongoose II's electronics (with clantech) that fell through. (they reverse-engineered it, found it feasible, but never made the line because the B-mech itself had problems or something. The LAP line was created at KJ-Ni just for the Jorm.)
