Things were at a virtual stand still until you had a stroke of genius that led to a creation of systems that allowed you to easily manipulate the genome of any being, or rebuild any machine from the ground up, no matter how simple or complicated. Describe what inspired you to invent these incredible creations and how you put them together.

Gato grew up in a small time town, everyone around him were hard workers but because of their circumstance they weren't in a position to contemplate much outside their own station, he was different though. His father knew from a young age, that Gato had potential out weighing all others in the town, that he could break the mold and make something of himself and so he invested heavily in his passions and schooling, over time the young boy helped his town innovate creating new hydroponic systems for watering crops, augmenting the engines of tractors so that they could more efficiently travel and cross their vast tracts of farm land, he also had a hobby making small mechanisms, mechanical robots ran off gears. it was his later years that saw an exponential increase in his intelligence and merits however.

By age thirteen the boy was without a doubt a genius, this was solidified into fact when an emotional event caused him to have to leap into action, his mother had developed bone cancer unlike most the boy didn't just accept this fact he got to work, he HAD to fix this and he knew he had the potential within him to make a difference. He started by taking small rodents and other creatures such as frogs and birds, and began to intentionally radiate them in an effort to cause their own cancers to form, this was a dark step to take but it was one he did without hesitation, at first being concerned with his mothers condition he soon became enthralled by the deep knowledge he was unlocking, it was like magic how it worked to others, and to him it felt like a drug. The lad then began an attempt to cure the beings of their genetic diseases using a device he'd assembled. To him it seemed simple, a collection of microscopes, small diamond blades and various chemicals used to extract the proteins and building blocks of genes, but in fact he'd stumbled upon something that would change his world forever, as well as his destiny.

He would spend a year or so studying the diseased animals with this device and using it to cure them of their ailments, however...he was too late to save his mother, she'd already become terminal by the time his knowledge and device was ready to cure her, he fell into a deep depression..but then, he remembered his knowledge, his gift...and his boyhood hobby of making small robots. That would be his goal, using the gene samples he'd collected off his mother, and his passion for robotics he would revive her in a new and immortal form some day, and no doubt..he'd change the world on his way to do so.
