  2. These patch notes are INCOMPLETE. We will be updating them through the next week with additional changes, but expect the unexpected when logging in for now.

  5. ·         The beta level cap has been raised to 50.
  6. ·         NEW CONTENT!
  7. o   Something Strain-ge is happening in the jungles of Wilderrun… This zone can be access by taking a “Ship to Wilderrun” Taxi in Illium or Thayd at level 32.
  8. o   Competition is heating up between the Exiles and the Dominion in the deserts of Malgrave. This zone can be access by taking a “Ship to Malgrave” Taxi in Illium or Thayd at level 38.
  9. o   The Strain has launched an all-out offensive in Grimvault, and Kezrek Warbringer and Commander Durek are calling all troops to the frontline! Speak with Corrigan Doon in Illium or Deadeye Brightland in Thayd to join the fight at level 46!
  10. o   Dominion and Exile forces have invaded Crimson Badlands in hopes of wresting the island from the dreg and claiming it for themselves… Level 50 players can join the battle for the Crimson Badlands by speaking with Gus Oakby in Thayd or by visiting Captain Karaka in Illium.
  11. o   New Shiphands: Join a science mission heading into deepest space by visiting Flight Recruiter Adra in Fool’s Hope (Exiles) or Flight Recruiter Reginald in Fort Vigilance (Dominion) within Wilderrun! Or, if you’d rather, help Pilot Taboro in Malgrave just outside of the Volatile Field with his mechanical troubles.  Surely nothing could go wrong!
  12. o   An ancient Eldan containment zone has been discovered below the sands of northern Malgrave. Exile and Dominion scientists race to gain access to this dangerous facility and its secrets before its reactor fails. Level 50 players can participate in the Critical Containment public event by visiting Sandstone Hold (Exiles) or Sunstorm Village (Dominion) while the event is active.
  13. ·         The Genetic Archives has opened its doors. This 20-man raid will push players to their limits, with over 20 individual encounters throughout the Archives. Find the entrance deep within Grimvault, if you dare.
  14. o   For beta, we have removed the Attunement questline to allow easy access to the raid. Don’t expect to walk in on launch day!
  15. o   The final boss of Genetic Archives will not be available during beta.
  16. ·         Warplots have landed!
  17. o   Endgame PvP has arrived! Warplots are a 40v40 battle where players customize their Warparty’s base with deployable objects (free form placement turrets and traps) and plugs (socketed building features with active and/or passive abilities). Level 50 testers can now create Warparties, build their Warplots, and queue up for matches. Please note that plugs and match content will be changing over the next beta pushes as we get your feedback on the system. For more details, check out Bardic's post on the forums!

  19. o   Sanctuary of the Swordmaiden is now available to level 47+ players. Unlock it by finding the entrance in Wilderrun.
  20. o   Veteran Dungeons are now available to level 50 players. Queue via the Group Finder if you’ve discovered the entrances in the open world.

  22. o   New Sim Cores have been discovered in Wilderrun and Malgrave! Two new adventures are available at levels 40 and 45: Crimelords of Whitevale and The Malgrave Trail.

Level 50 players now have access to Veteran Adventures: War of the Wilds, The Siege of Tempest Refuge, Crimelords of Whitevale, and The Malgrave Trail. Queue for these instances in the group finder once you’ve discovered their respective Sim Cores.

  51. Warrior
  52. A lot of work went into the Warrior this Milestone, specifically focused on the DPS side of things to improve rotation. Certain abilities had GCD requirements added to ensure that players have to think about when to add them into their DPS rotations. Additionally, Relentless Strikes has seen its DPS output reduced and many other abilities have been improved so that using them effectively will increase DPS results.

  346. The Engineer did not receive major changes this patch but it did receive a number of bug fixes with a few minor tweaks. The minor tweaks include adjustments to pet survivability. We made pets less susceptible to spike damage through critical attacks and now force attacks to go through shields first. In the next Patch the Engineer will be receiving a larger update based mostly on forum feedback.

  408. This Milestone we focused on the Esper’s Innate, Stationary Builders, Pets, and DPS Finishers. First off, our goal with the Spectral Form change was to reinforce the fact that they are a Stationary Caster without hindering them. Also, Telekinetic Strike’s DPS has been increased to reward it properly for being a stationary cast. Additionally, now that Pet Summons have telegraphs, the pets will attack in a more responsive manner. Finally, we’ve worked to make the DPS Finishers other than Mind Burst more viable based on situations and builds.

  550. The Spellslinger mostly received Spell Surge adjustments this patch.  First, we wanted to make Spell Surge more impactful. We slightly reduced the effectiveness of base abilities but greatly increased their Surge Bonuses. Second, we wanted to address forum feedback regarding how Spell Surge is activated and controlled. Spell Surge no longer drains over time and is now consumed on ability usage. This has allowed us to remove the minimum spell power activation requirement as well as the behavior that would shut it off automatically if you were CC’d. We will monitor player feedback and continue to refine the mechanic as we move forward.
