- The 'fantasy' generic font family was added so that authors would have
- one more generic font name to chose from. 'serif', sans-serif', and
- 'monospace' are more obvious names, but computers -- even back in 1995
- -- typically had some fonts that didn't fit into these bins. Another
- name would have been 'display', or 'handwriting', perhaps. I believe
- 'fantasy' was chosen to have room for anything that didn't fit the
- other bins.

- Yes, fantasy is a category for fonts for special usages. You might use it
- for titles, but not for body text or anything that is longer than a few
- words.
