  1. Events in chronological order
  2.
  3. 2009: A 15 year old boy is inadvertently pulled into the world of Terra from Earth by a Ryu’s enchantment gone wrong. The teen loses most of his memories in the process and doesn’t remember his name. The Ryu and her husband take the boy in and raise him as their own, giving him the name Hiramatsu. He becomes friends with Katsumi and they both study under the same tutors. He shares what he remembers about the world he came from with the scholars of Zipangu. This brings about a few changes that are drastic in nature, including the adoption of the metric system. Young Hiramatsu begins talking with skilled metal workers and alchemists about the creation of gunpowder and its use for throwing projectiles.
  4.
  5. 2013, Spring: At the age of 19, Hiramatsu sets out on a pilgrimage around the world. His intention is to study abroad at different colleges and schools and use the acquired knowledge to help Zipangu grow.
  6.
  7. 2013: In the late summer, he reaches a land known as G’lil. It isn’t governed by lords or warlords. Two countries border G‘lil from the West and north, the Uwhal Union (UU) and the Holy Alliance of Kingdoms (HAK), respectively. Both sides are weary of each other and so neither tries to expand into G’lil. This has made the scattered villages in the area easy targets for brigands. When the young Son of Ryu enters the land, he sympathizes with their plight and chooses to help the villagers. He instructs the woodworkers in how to create the Chu-Ko-Nu, an easily buildable crossbow that is easy to use. (The Chinese repeating crossbow)
  8.
  9. Hiramatsu quickly trains the peasants how to use the crossbows and leads them into battle against the brigands. This process is repeated over and over again throughout G‘lil.
  10. By the end of Autumn, all the notorious marauding bands that thrived in the uncontrolled lands have been wiped out and Prince Hiramatsu proclaims the creation of the Kingdom of Glilia and takes up the regal name of Frederick. This is known as the Fall Rising.
  11.
  12. 2014: Many skilled workers are sent to Glilia from Zipangu such as merchants, architects, and army officers. Glilia soon begins trading with the neighboring nations to solidify it’s position. Though both regional powers have factions that call for the conquest of Glilia, most of the leaders in Uwhal and the HAK are relieved to have an independent buffer zone that is neutral so both sign peace agreements with Glilia. To ensure that the neutrality of Glilia can be maintained, the few blacksmiths that were working on guns in Zipangu were snuck into Glilia with the other workers along with their tools. Together with the Glilian blacksmiths, they continue working on improving the design of their new weapon. (They look like the Tanegashima matchlock muskets)
  13.
  14. Over the next 13 years, Glilia continues to build itself up as a trade hub for the HAK, UU, and other nations to the south such as the Kingdom of Deshret. Despite trading with many Mamono controlled kingdoms, the Order controlled HAK is on good terms with Glilia.
  15. 2027:
  16. King Frederick marries Margareth and she becomes Queen of Glilia. The fact that Margareth is a human, wins over a lot of respect and support for the new kingdom and the HAK sees Glilia as a potential new member to the alliance.
  17.
  18.
  19. After 18 years of development the new ‘Glilian bows’ are ready. King Frederick, along with Queen Margareth, inspects the first 2 companies of his army to be fully equipped with the secret weapon. (Think of the Dreyse needle gun with an effective range of about 600 meters, and a rate of 10-15 shots a minute) The soldiers learn to fight with the rifles and stay on the move. King Frederick commissions 40 wagons to be made for the rifle teams so that they can be deployed to any part of Glilia in an emergency.
  20.
  21. On Earth, America suffers another economic collapse as bad as the Great Depression.
  22.
  23. 2028 Spring: A young Glilian knight named Nigel Fischer marries Kelora, the youngest daughter of the Demon Lord. News of this reaches the HAK. Fearing that Glilia will fall under complete control of the Demon Lord, the Holy Alliance declares war on the young kingdom. Despite the secret weapons at their disposal, the situation is dire for Glilia. Since the rifles are all hand made, their numbers are still low. The Glilian Army has only 400 riflemen, an eighth of its total fighting force including town and village militias. Too make matters worse, Glilia is a landlocked nation and the HAK borders it to the North and controls the coastline to the East. All imports to Glilia by sea have to go through the HAK.
  24.
  25. The King knows if the Holy Alliance brings its full might down on Glilia then the two full strength companies would be spread too thin to hold back the onrush of knights. If the war lasts too long then Glilia will suffer economic collapse from being cut off from it’s trade partners across the sea. King Frederick has to win the war quickly if Glilia is to survive. However he is not alone in the fight. Days after war is declared, the Uwhal Union enters the war on Glilia’s side. Even though both the Union and the Alliance are old enemies, both societies are feudal and need time to get ready to wage total war against each other.
  26.
  27. King Frederick chooses to make the first move against the HAK. First he sends the 5th Infantry Company of 200 rifles marching north to protect the border in the North. With them is the 1st Engineer Company. The Engineers work at a feverish pace to dig concealment and cover trenches outside the border towns. King Frederick rides with the 6th Infantry Company as they spearhead the eastern offensive. Using their wagons, they ride towards the southernmost point of the HAK and begin moving North to take control of the coastal forts and the main port. The infantry company is armed with one horse drawn cannon. Between the cannon and their rifles, they take town after town faster than either side is prepared for.
  28.
  29. 13 days after declaring war, Glilia has seized control of all HAK holdings on the Eastern border. To Ensure that order is maintained in the occupied territory, a team of Anubi trained in law enforcement are brought in from the Kingdom of Deshret. In the coming 2 weeks, HAK sends a fighting force of 2,000 mounted knights, spearmen, archers and various other foot soldiers towards Glilia.
  30.
  31. The medieval army is completely unprepared for the battle that unfolds. The Glilian rifles prove to have double the range of the bows. Knights ride into battle only to have their horses shot from below them. Lancers charge forward to trip in gopher holes dug by the engineer company. Swordsmen are caught in the crossfire of infantry rifles and militia bows. After 2 days of fighting, over 500 archers, 80 knights, 110 lancers, and 200 swordsmen are dead and 400 others are seriously wounded. Only a tenth of the nobles, squires and peasants in the HAK’s army are able to retreat.
  32.
  33. By comparison, Glilia has only suffered 12 dead and 30 wounded.
  34.
  35. In less than a month of fighting, Glilia has grown by a fifth in size and annihilated the small but well trained army sent against it. For the HAK, the two defeats are overwhelming and fast. The Alliance of Kingdoms bids for peace. In the treaty that treaty, Glilia is allowed to keep all territory that it conquered and the HAK has to pay 780 gold coins, 40 for each Glilian killed in battle and 10 for everyone wounded. The HAK is more than willing to accept the terms and it doesn’t take long before King Frederick is able to negotiate a truce between Uwhal and the Alliance.
  36.
  37. 2029: Glilia has wasted no time welcoming navy officers from Zipangu to help train the newly formed Royal Navy. Construction of warships at the newly acquired harbors begins.
  38.
  39. 2030: Queen Margareth contracts a fatal illness and dies. Though their marriage was short lived, she was greatly adored by her people, both humans and monsters. In the HAK, many priests and nobles that once applauded the Glilian royals for staying human are now proclaiming that the illness was the chief goddess’ judgment for the vanity of Glilia and a curse for protecting monsters. This enrages the Frederick and he grows increasingly bitter towards the Holly Alliance as time goes on.
  40.
  41. 2032: ***Inner Demons of a Lilim, the First Contact stories, and Royal Date Royale take place here***
  42.
  43. 2033: The Uwhal Union and the Kingdom of Glilia sign a new treaty for a military alliance. Officers from both militaries train together and can even expect to spend part of their service time in under ally’s military because of the officer exchange program. Both nations also begin working together on rifle development.
  44.
  45. Representatives from Deshret, Glilia, Zipangu and the Uwhal Union meet to discuss how they can best take advantage of the unlimited amount of information and human resources from Earth. The meeting concludes with all parties agreeing to the fallowing:
  46. 1. Zipangu will work on aircraft development while Submarine and ship development are Glilia’s responsibility.
  47. 3. The The Uwhal Union will be working on mechanized fighting vehicles and the Kingdom of Deshret will work on electronic communications.
  48. 4. All four nations will equally benefit from the advancements made and the kingdoms of Deshret and Zipangu will help the Uwhal Union and Glilia even though they are not in a military alliance.
