Aya Foxheart smiles softly to Kage
Kage Kiryuu smiles at Aya before giving her a nod and heading for the one who caught his interest.
You gaze upon Kiht Jakkya in deep reflection.
Kiht Jakkya steps back into the place and surveys the area.
Kage Kiryuu coughs before clearing his throat. "Kiht?"
Kiht Jakkya regards the male staring at her. "Gods damn it." She says as she pulls off the mask. "This is supposed to make it so people do not recognize me.... Can I help you, sun-brother?"
Kage Kiryuu glances awkwardly about and fiddles with his hands, "Sorry... I am... This is awkward..." He murmurs softly and rapidly, "This is really strange but the only thing I can tell you is that I'm Roen's friend, Kage."
Kage Kiryuu bites his lip, awkwardly.
Kiht Jakkya senses something amiss with you.
Kiht Jakkya puts her finger to her ear.
Kage Kiryuu blinks awkwardly, clasping his hands together. He definitely did not think this through. Of course, she didn't always come to Ul'dah. She wouldn't have heard the rumors.
Ralea Mala points at Menelwen Veara.
Kiht Jakkya waits for a response on her linkpearl. She narrows her eyes the man.
Kage Kiryuu glances around, none of what he could say to possibly convince her that he was who he was could be said in the Quicksand...
Kiht Jakkya examines the male as she waits. She sniffs the air around him.
Aya Foxheart walks past the pair, smiling softly, "Hi Kage~" she says, and continues on her way.
Kiht Jakkya: "Aya, good, this some kinf of jest?"
Kage Kiryuu bites his lip worriedly before smiling at Aya as... she walked away quickly. He handles the bowl of peanuts that he'd left mostly untouched that Aya gave him.
Kiht Jakkya: "Follow me, please."
Kage Kiryuu nods, "..Aye."
Cedric Riordan lightly nods at Kiht
Kiht Jakkya: "Alright....... HOW THE HELLS ARE YOU A MIQO'TE?"
Kiht Jakkya's eyes grow wide with awe upon seeing you.
Kiht Jakkya looks absolutely shocked.
Kage Kiryuu widens his eyes before slowly... cradling the extra appendage called a tail. "I... I don't know... It's... I just woke up this way. I found out some man who has been a menace in my life knocked me out. He claimed responsibility for my change... Some gift he called it. One moment I was in the city... the next it was bells later and I was in Crescent Cove... like this."
Kage Kiryuu: "I... I haven't found it easy to tell everyone I know about it... I don't know what to say."
Kage Kiryuu sighs, "But really that... isn't why I approached you. I've... I've must needs to ask you for your help. It's not good news."
Kiht Jakkya just continues to look at him awestruck. "Oh my Gods.... I am going insane. I should just head back to the Shroud and live out the rest of my life hunting Ground Squirrels!"
Kiht Jakkya is frustrated.
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head frantically, "No! No... You have far grander things to do than to just hunt... Ground Squirrels was it?"
Kage Kiryuu: "-People- like -Aya- have some needs for your help."
Kiht Jakkya: "What? More bad news? Go ahead, hit me with that as well...."
Kiht Jakkya lets out a sigh. "Calm yourself sun-brother Kage.... I was jesting.... King of..."
Kiht Jakkya: ((kind* of))
Kage Kiryuu looks downcast, "I... I needs to speak with Roen. I was hoping that you may help me... find her. I have bad news for her that I must tell her. To her face preferably."
Kiht Jakkya furrows her brows. "I am surprised you do not know where she is... I am also surprised to know that Natalie mmight have been responsible for what she had to go through." She says as anger grows in her expression.
Kiht Jakkya furrows her brow.
Kage Kiryuu grits his teeth and looks downcast. "She... I don't think Roen would have wanted to see me. And I'm sure everyone... considers me and Natalie one and the same. Natalie made mistakes. A horrible one, not thinking of the consequences when she tried to save Roen from this city."
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head, "I have no right, to want to speak to her but I would like to. It would... it would be a goodbye of sorts. I'm not... I've sins that I will be held accountable for. -After- I speak to Roen. I must needs to at least get her this information."
Kiht Jakkya regards him for a long while."So this is something she really needs to know?.... You know she does not need additional stress right now...."
Kage Kiryuu: "I know... but... She absolutely needs to know this. If not her... Gharen must know at least."
Kiht Jakkya: "I trust you enough to know you never intended Roen harm, but Natalie, I will never trust her again. Will she be involved in this?"
Kage Kiryuu looks down before shaking his head. "No, Natalie won't be involved. It was something I was tasked to do. I won't do it, the Captain won't need to know until after I am through."
Kiht Jakkya nods. "Roen and Gharen are in Limsa Lominsa." She averts her gaze and shakes her head. "I pray this is not a mistake."
Kage Kiryuu bows his head low, showing the back of his neck. "They won't come to any harm from my hand," he promises.
Kiht Jakkya: "I wish to visit her too. Is what you have to tell her a private matter?"
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head, "Not of a nature that will be an issue for her friends to know."
Kage Kiryuu: "The more her friends know... the better."
Kiht Jakkya nods and smiles. "Lets find her then. I know she is in the city, but not her exact location."
Kage Kiryuu stands up once more, "Thank you Kiht. Thank you."
Kiht Jakkya smiles at you.
You beam with delight at Kiht Jakkya.
Kiht Jakkya: "...... I still cannot believe you are a Seeker...."
Kage Kiryuu: "I... I can't believe it myself. It took me suns.... moons to get used to it. I still forget I even have a tail..."
Kiht Jakkya smirks slightly and awkwardly. "There is some insane magic in this world it seems...."
Kage Kiryuu nods, "It's certainly very odd. I'm taller now, to say the least." He gives a small grin.
Kiht Jakkya gazes upon you in deep reflection.
Kiht Jakkya steps closer and her eyes widen a bit. "You are taller than I now."
Aerostein Epitaph nods to Kiht Jakkya.
Kage Kiryuu twiddles his hands together just a little awkwardly. "I'd noticed."
Kiht Jakkya smirks confidently at you.
Kiht Jakkya: "Shall we go to Limsa, tall, sunny and handsome?" She says in a teasing tone.
Kage Kiryuu blushes, "A-ah. I- yes. Yes, let's." He coughs a bit, ears twitching just a bit.
Kiht Jakkya laughs at you.
Kiht Jakkya puts her finger to her ear.
Kiht Jakkya mumbles something about location.
Kage Kiryuu awkwardly stands around, breathing through his mouth. The air is quite strong, especially to his senses. He's not used to the strong senses he experiences now.
Kiht Jakkya sniffs the air. "Ah, smell the fish?"
Kage Kiryuu wrinkles his nose and mouth. "It's... very strong. Miqo'te senses are much stronger, expectedly." He gives a small cough, "It'll take me ages to get used to."
Kiht Jakkya smiles at you.
Kiht Jakkya nods to him. "Especially our sense of smell. But if you learn to hone it, you can track people and even possibly recognize people in disguise."
Kage Kiryuu thinks about it before teasing just a bit, "I have to admit. I'm a little happy to be a Seeker. If I was Moonkeeper I don't know how I'd ever live in Ul'dah..." He nods slowly. "Perhaps I'll be able to use it... after I make my confessions."
Kiht Jakkya lets out a sigh. "Ul'dah...... Thanalan.... They give me heatstroke jsut thinking about those places.... You are indeed lucky considering where you live."
Kage Kiryuu nods. "I'm thankful, that you decided to hear my words out."
Kiht Jakkya smiles at you.
Kage Kiryuu laughs, "I was so desperate. I was just hoping you were you when I walked to you. I didn't even think about my form..."
Kiht Jakkya: "I have a tendency to do that.... Even when I should not. Well, you deserved that much I think." She pauses and regards him.
Kage Kiryuu bows low once again, the back of his neck visible and vulnerable. "My thanks and fullest appreciation."
Kiht Jakkya chuckles lightly. "Seeing you a sun-brother is the chock of a lifetime for sure."
Kiht Jakkya: ((shock*))
Kage Kiryuu scratches the back of his head bashfully, "I've had some strange expreriences with friends. Some have heard the snickers and rumors in Ul'dah. Others have thought I an imposter before vetting me." He blushes before murmuring quickly, "I myself found myself naked in Crescent Cove. That tail..."
Kiht Jakkya laughs at you.
Kiht Jakkya: "Gods, I hope I do not randomly transform one sun."
Kage Kiryuu: "I sincerely hope not!"
Kiht Jakkya puts her finger to her ear. "I have a location. Middle La Noscea."
Kiht Jakkya smiles at you.
Kiht Jakkya: "Shall we go?"
Kage Kiryuu perks his ears in relief. "Aye, let's, lead the way."
Kiht Jakkya smirks at him. "I heard they went somewhere around here. I know a good spot where they probably are."
Kiht Jakkya smirks confidently at you.
Kage Kiryuu nods, "Lead the way."
Roen Deneith: "Delial..." She whispers as if to herself.
Kiht Jakkya: "Well well."
Kiht Jakkya beams with delight.
Gharen Wolfsong is about to say something then looks over to the newcomers to the camp.
Kiht Jakkya grins widely as she sees Roen.
Kage Kiryuu pauses, his heart clenching. "Oh gods..." He murmurs to himself before holding his arms in the air, slowly, to show he had no weapons on his person.
Roen Deneith turns at the voice, blinking. The woman Kiht sees is not the Roen she quite remembers, her head has been recently shaved, although there is scant hint of hair regrowing.
Roen Deneith regards Kiht, there is clear surprise there, but the expression is muted.
Kiht Jakkya regards the Highlander. "Gharen Wolfsong?" Kiht asks then slowly moves to remove her spear and place it on the ground. "I am Kiht Jakkya, a friend of Roen's."
Gharen Wolfsong nods "Well met Miss Jakkya."
Kiht Jakkya widens her eyes as she notices Roen's hair missing... mostly.
Kiht Jakkya smiles at Gharen Wolfsong.
Gharen Wolfsong Reaches over to Roen and gives her arm a slight squeeze he cocks his head as if to tell her to go see her friends.
Kiht Jakkya: "I brought someone.... Someone eho really wanted to talk with you, Roen."
Roen Deneith 's eyes stray from Kiht to the second figure behind her... Kage.
Kage Kiryuu stays back, not sure how to proceed anymore, hands still in the air.
Roen Deneith rises from her seat, even her movements seemed slowed.
Gharen Wolfsong takes a deep breath and closes his eyes.
Kage Kiryuu: "I... I would not want to cause any more heartache or stress but... but the circumstances have forced me to need to tell you about this."
Kiht Jakkya examines Roen and her lips quivers. She forces a smile. "How.... Do you fare?"
Roen Deneith looks between the two, her usual warmth that has always greeted Kiht is absent this day. Instead, there is a furrow of her brow and she absently tucks her finger behind her eyes, as if just remembering her bare scalp. She twists her lips a little.
Roen Deneith stares at Kage for a while longer, but turns to Kiht and approaches her. She gives her a strained smile. "Kiht," she says softly.
Roen Deneith: "I would have never expected to see you here."
Kage Kiryuu rubs his head heavily with a hand, taking the beret off.
Kiht Jakkya: "Roen...." She did not know what else to say. Her ears droop.
Kiht Jakkya: "I.... My apologies, but I had a friend track you two. I wanted to make sure you both would be okay..."
Roen Deneith 's eyes and voice, seem both distant. As if emotions are hiding behind a veil, or a wall.
Roen Deneith frowns a little when she sees Kiht's expression. She presses her lips thin. "Do not be so. I am.. sorry I was ill prepared for your arrival."
Roen Deneith: "I fare... well enough. My brother has been watching over me. "
Roen Deneith: "I am safe. Here." She says quietly.
Kiht Jakkya shakes her head, and blinks her eyes rappidly. "You have nothing to be sorry for..." She does everything she can ro force a smile, but her damn Miqo'te ears are drooped.
Kage Kiryuu eyes the ground at his feet, head bowed and ears flat against his head.
Kiht Jakkya: "I am glad you are safe...."
Roen Deneith twists her lips, and she nods. She too tries to muster a smile for the Miqo'te. "Gratitude for your concern, Kiht. This is far from your home."
Roen Deneith: "I... should have written..." her words trail off, as does her gaze to nowhere in particular. She has not yet looked back towards Kage.
Kiht Jakkya shrugs. "Its...Its fine. I wanted to see you." She motions over to Kage. "So did he."
Roen Deneith stare at that empty space between Kiht and Kage, her brows still bent downward.
Kage Kiryuu blinks his eyes, trying to clear his  throat. His voice cracks as he speaks. "I... I... I must needs to speak of this. After that, you will most likely never see me again." He casts his eyes downward once more, blinking his eyes.
Kiht Jakkya: "We can...." She lowers her head like she does not want to say what she is about to say. "Leave if it is a bad time."
Roen Deneith studies some random rock on the ground, her eyes narrowing. She seems to be considering something. She inhales deeply and lifts her gaze to Kage.
Gharen Wolfsong 's eyes remain closed, "Yer quite fine, We don' have much te entertain guests here, but I can offer ye some hot tea."
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head with a jerk, "No!" His hands and voice trembles. "This... this needs to be said." He lifts his eyes, matching his own gaze to Roen's.
Kiht Jakkya nods, and silences herself as she now realizes that she needs to give Kage a chance to speak.
Roen Deneith meets his gaze, and her own... seems distant. Worn. She nods to him once.
Roen Deneith: "It must be important then." She says, her tone staying muted.
Kage Kiryuu: "I wish... I wish I did not have to give this news." He tries to clear his throat once more. "The... The Captain Anden of the Brass Blades has found out about Roen's kidnapping." He pauses, "He.." He takes in a deep breath. "He believes that as Roen is no longer a captive, that as she has not reported and has left the city that she has deserted."
Kiht Jakkya steps up and looks over the edge to regard the water. "My gratitude Gharen. Not sure if I am feeling thirsty right now..."
Kage Kiryuu: "He had me promoted and had me tasked to bring Roen to Ul'dah to face desertion charges."
Roen Deneith blinks, a slow frown alighting her brows.
Kage Kiryuu looks down at the floor, downcast. "I'm not here to do such a thing... but to let you know. He was willing to give me ten men to do this."
Kiht Jakkya widens her eyes at the news.
Kage Kiryuu blinks his eyes, before lifting his gaze past Roen to the falls behind her, unable to look her in the eyes. "I just needed to tell you. To warn you of what may be coming." He chokes back a sob, gritting his teeth. "This is... also my goodbye."
Roen Deneith just... stares at him in silence for a moment longer, then her head bows, air leaving her lungs.
Kage Kiryuu: "I will be giving Captain Anden my resignation from the Brass Blades.... before I confess to the murder of two Brass Blades."
Gharen Wolfsong Nods silently when Kiht turns down the offer. "Is this Captain Anduron you speak of or someone different?"
Kage Kiryuu: "A-aye."
Roen Deneith glances back up, her eyes narrowing on him. "Murder... of Brass Blades...?"
Roen Deneith looks clearly confused.
Gharen Wolfsong thinks for a moment.
Kiht Jakkya locks her gaze on Kage as she listen for an explanation.
Kage Kiryuu chokes back a sob. "When we..." He lets out a deep breath. "When we went to retrieve Gharen... Natalie spoke my name. They would have known exactly who was behind it." He shakes his head. "But it's all for naught. I murdered them." He falls to his knees, breaking down.
Gharen Wolfsong breaks his silence. "I would nae be so hasty to turn yerself in, especially for somethin' tha' could jus as easily been me."
Roen Deneith blinks again, her eyes wide. "Retrieve...
Roen Deneith looks back to Gharen. "What is he speaking of?"
Kiht Jakkya has no idea whats going on, but is listening with curiousity anyways.
Gharen Wolfsong: "When I turned myself in I was thrown inte one o' Lolorito's personal cells outside th' city. Yer friends came te get me out. I'm guessin' when they realized thier plans te keep ye safe dinnae hold tegether."
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head. "I can't live with myself like this. They already know the names of those involved. They don't know yet that I was the one who slayed them but.." He chokes back another sob, wiping at his face with his sleeve. "Chief Flame Sergeant Melkire has already made a report to the Commander Swift. Swift gave me a copy. They know  that Blades were slain. They know who did it. I... I did."
Roen Deneith: "You... you turned yourself ...in?!" She sounds incredulous, finally something breaking through that muted veil of a mask.
Kage Kiryuu gives a bitter laugh, "And now the Captain wants to bring her in for desertion!"
Roen Deneith stares back at Kage, she looks stunned.
Kage Kiryuu shifts his gaze to Roen, blinking back tears.
Gharen Wolfsong: "Aye, They were threatenin' te have ye killed or exposed as a spy. Usin' what was in th' parcel I showed ye before."
Kage Kiryuu: "I... I could have sent you a message. But I needed to tell you this... Because this will most likely be my goodbye to you. I... I couldn't let it only be my beret."
Roen Deneith pauses for three breaths, before slow steps closes the distance between her and Kage.
Kage Kiryuu watches as Roen approaches, biting his lip.
Kiht Jakkya has dozens of questions, but remains silent. She thinks none of it is her business. Her ears perk up as she listens.
Roen Deneith comes to stand above him, and there is just a slight but sad smile. She leans down and lightly touches his chin. "I knew that was from you."
Kage Kiryuu gives her a small sad smile. "I had hoped Osric would give you your things.."
Roen Deneith 's grey eyes look to him and a tear falls from her eye. "White feathered beret." Her voice is barely a whisper.
Kage Kiryuu nods, tears falling from his eyes. "Aye. A white feathered beret."
Roen Deneith bows her head and closes her eyes.
Roen Deneith shakes her head slowly. "It seems so long ago now."
Kage Kiryuu: "It seems like it's been ages... since we had our trials. Lifetimes even."
Roen Deneith opens her eyes and peers back at Kage. Strange, to see a Miqo'te staring back at her. She remembers those trials. As if they were yesterday. "You are going to confess? And possibly face execution?"
Gharen Wolfsong takes a deep breath, but speaks quietly when Kiht approaches him. "The road ahead o' her will nae be an easy one. She will need friends in th' commin' days."
Kage Kiryuu nods grimly, "Aye."
Kiht Jakkya quietly steps up to Gharen. "If.... If you two need help while you are here. I have contacts in Limsa Lominsa. A duskwight with red hair named Sal and a Hyur with blue hair named Cedric. They could contact me anytime and I could help with whatever you two need. Gil, protection, anything."
Kiht Jakkya nods, slowly. "I would like to visit her too ofcourse."
Gharen Wolfsong he nods, "Aye Thank ye Miss Jakkya. Fer now, I think she needs focus. Friends, loved ones, things o' tha' nature te help her, she'll need te come out o' this stronger, both o' mind, body an' heart."
Kage Kiryuu bows his head, "I'm tired of being someone I can't look at. I need to be -myself- and the first step to doing that... is to confess."
Roen Deneith lowers herself to her knees in front of Kage. She exhales softly, meeting his gaze steadily. Her own is shaded, drawn in, but her words, she wants him to hear it clearly. "I do not want to you die."
Kiht Jakkya can't help but cast a smile at his optimism. "I will do what I can to be there for her. I do not know what its like to go through... What she might have gone through...."
Kiht Jakkya smiles at Gharen Wolfsong.
Kage Kiryuu inhales sharply, with a few shakes. "I don't either but I can't... I have to face my sins."
Gharen Wolfsong looks to Kiht. "I've lived in th' dark places she experienced recently, an' made th' mistake o' shuttin' people out, push'n them away, I cannae let her make tha' mistake, jus' bein' her friend an' givin her th' support she needs... tha' will work wonders I believe."
Roen Deneith breaks her gaze, staring past him. "You saved him." She says quietly, but after a breath her brows furrow. "After she convinced him to--" She suddenly frowns deeper and shuts her eyes tight.
Kiht Jakkya blinks back some tears, and gives him a curt nod. "By Menphina I will do what I can."
Kage Kiryuu bites his lip, "Aye, -we- did."
Roen Deneith turns her head, her lips drawn downward again.
Roen Deneith shakes her head again as if not wanting to hear.
Roen Deneith: "Just... do not die, Kage." She says quietly, her eyes failing to return back to him.
Gharen Wolfsong nods. "Thank ye again Miss Jakkya." *he motions his head in the direction of Roen and Kage.* "Ye should spend some time with her."
Kiht Jakkya smiles at Gharen Wolfsong.
Kage Kiryuu lets out a shaky breath before slowly crawling to his feet. Giving her a small, sad smile he speaks.
Gharen Wolfsong closes his eyes, takes a breath, returns to his meditation.
Kiht Jakkya regards them, and continues to remain silent.
Kage Kiryuu: "I can't promise something I can't guarantee." He takes a deep breath, blinking his eyes once more, "I am so happy to have met you Roen. Thank you, for everything. Please, keep an eye out for the Blades. I don't know how forceful the Captain will be but he was willing to send up to 10 men with me..." He flattens his ears. "I'm sorry Roen, that things happened like this."
Kage Kiryuu bows, slowly. Low and deep so that the back of his neck was visible and vulnerable. He paused before straightening.
Roen Deneith turns back to him, her brows furrowed. She rises.
Roen Deneith tries to keep her composure but she fails, she steps forward and embraces him, her face twisted with sadness.
Kage Kiryuu: "It has been a pleasure and my honor to have known you and been your oath-brother."
Kage Kiryuu blinks back tears as he's drawn into her embrace. He buries his head into her shoulder a bit whispering, "I'm sorry for how this has turned out."
Roen Deneith says nothing, she does not know what to say. She holds him for a moment longer, a soft sniffle muffled against his shoulder.
Kiht Jakkya could no longer prevent the tears from welling in her eyes. She averts her gaze away from them. Her ears droop as she lowers her head.
Roen Deneith nods and turns around, pulling way. She wipes her eyes hastily and goes to take a seat by the waterfall.
Kage Kiryuu gives a shaky breath as he steps back, "I'll be going now. I'm so glad that I was able to have this chance to speak with you. Goodbye, Roen."
Gharen Wolfsong takes a deep breath, Then speaks loudly enough for Roen and Kage to hear. "I hope ye don' mine my interruptin'. But I don' think durin' th' crawl out o' Lolorito's underground hotbox we were introduced."
Kage Kiryuu blinks before calling out, "The name's Kage Kiryuu. You used to know me as a Lalafell. Perhaps," He gives a small wry grin, "A damned mage at the time."
Roen Deneith falls silent after lowering into a seat, her eyes shut.
Kage Kiryuu bows low once more, "I'll take my leave now, back to Ul'dah." He gives Gharen a nod before nodding to Kiht.
Gharen Wolfsong his eyes narrow somewhat incredulously at the miqote. "Ye say they know who did it?"
Kage Kiryuu: "Aye." He paused, glancing at Roen's back before continuing. "Natalie confessed to the Captain that she was involved. She gave my name, saying I was acting under her orders. I'm sure the Captain will be following up soon though. The Commander Swift of the Immortal Flames has a report about it made by Chief Flame Sergeant Osrick Melkire."
Kage Kiryuu takes a deep breath, pausing once more. He obviously shows hesitation before clenching a fist and inhaling one more deep breath. "Take care, and farewell."
Kiht Jakkya regards Kage for a long moment. "Twelve guide you."
Gharen Wolfsong: "So, they know ye broke me out, -and- tha' yer th' one tha' did th' deed te Lolorito's Jailors?"
Kiht Jakkya salutes you.
Kage Kiryuu gives  a nod to Kiht before turning. He pauses  and answers Gharen's question with a simple, "Aye," as he walks away.
