[19:20:07] <%Somber> The friends had gotten off the street just in the brink of time. Chemical mist had begun to jet from the storm drains and sewer covers. The purple mist began to wash over them when they arrived in the police station. They found the station booby trapped. Within, however, was a dead pony in a ratty police uniform sitting before the front window. Aria had
[19:22:09] <%Somber> used her magic to push the buttons and let them through the two doors into the cells. When the doors opened, however, the screaming hit the ponies like a solid wave. Ponies screaming for help. Ponies screaming epithets. And the sound of bullets ripping through the air. Ahead of them were a half dozen jail cells, each with labels over them. 'MoM',
[19:24:41] <%Somber> 'detox', 'transfer', 'process', 'court', and 'psych'. Before the detox cell door were three ponies in police uniforms. Unlike the one they'd seen before, these uniforms looked new. As were their guns that they pointed in the cell, blasting away at the prisoners within. One looked over at the four in the doorway and shouted. "Holy shit! They got through
[19:24:58] <%Somber> the baracade! Take them out! Quick!"
[19:38:58] Skyshine shouts out to the police officer garbed ponies as she takes a step out. "Hold your fire! We're backup! We all rushed here when we got the 4-points builleton that you needed help! I say again, Hold!"
[19:45:55] <%Somber> In the blink of an eye, their barding and clothes changed. They now wore pink police uniforms and riot armor. Their equipment, also changed to batons, pistols, and police shotguns. "Are you with the captain?! Because if you're another fucking bleeding heart son of a mule, we'll put all of you down too!" One of the prisoners in the cells cried out,
[19:46:30] <%Somber> "In the name of Celestia, please, let us go!" Another officer snapped, "Yeah, sure! So you lot can form another mob and raid us again?! Fuck! No!"
[19:52:12] Skyshine glares at the officer in charge. "We aren't bleeding hearts, you idiot. Star and I wouldn't've flown all the way fuck from Neighvarro. Now what's the situation?"
[19:54:21] <%Somber> "The situation? The situation is we're fucked, that's what the situation is. Canterlot is gone. Manehattan is gone. Cloudsdale is gone." One officer resumes shooting. "Captain's ordered us to consolidate supplies and put down any extra mouths to feed. I say its a waste of bullets. Let em starve. Captain's just wants them dead. She's upstairs if
[19:54:41] <%Somber> you're game. It's pony eat pony now."
[19:56:12] Aria stares at the door. "Is everypony alright in there?"
[19:58:12] Red_Line nods "So, mind if we go on up. Looks like you three have this lot taken care of."
[19:59:21] Star_Chaser glowers and steps forwards. She spreads her wings wide. "We'd heard Cloudsdale got hit over the radios on our way down. But that doesn't explain... This!" She waves a hoof towards the ponies in the cells. "Killing unarmed civilians, even in a time of crisis, is not what the Equestrian Police Force was trained to do! Your Captain has lost her mind if she thinks this will
[19:59:21] Star_Chaser help anyone."
[20:00:32] <%Somber> "I knew it! Just like the others!" He shouted, they turned their guns on Star and opened fire.
[20:01:46] Tiller makes for the steel doors and swings them open, pistol at the ready.
[20:03:32] <%Somber> The police revolvers boom as they blast at Star.
[20:03:46] <%Somber> "You wanna save em? You can join em!"
[20:16:01] Red_Line horn lights up as a gout of flame shoots from it missing one of the cop's
[20:17:43] Tiller sighs in frustration as he discovers the doors are locked. He turns around and aims a few shots at the one Star Chaser shot at.
[20:22:14] <%Somber> Tiller finishes off the officer, the unicorn collapsing in a pile of blood. The prisoners give out cries of hope!
[20:27:36] Skyshine sighs and takes aim at one of the standing officers. Always with the violence... there had to be a better way.
[20:35:24] <%Somber> Skyshine blasts away, one of the officers crying out in pain.
[20:35:56] Skyshine grimaces. "Sorry!"
[20:36:06] <%Somber> One officer jams, but the other blasts Tiller with 2 shots.
[20:42:31] Star_Chaser shifts in place as she's ripped up by the bullets. Clearly less than happy. She turns towards the second target and bites the trigger on her battle saddle, spending a moment to aim before each of the two remaining bullets clears the barrel.
[20:44:13] <%Somber> The second officer was pretty messed up, but still up.
[20:46:25] Red_Line see's the wounds that Tiller has taken, rushes over "Fuck, you alright there." as he works over the bullet wounds
[20:47:32] Tiller is muffled, but not silenced, by his pistol "No, I'm not."
[20:49:24] Tiller keeps firing.
[20:50:37] <%Somber> Tiller finishes off the second officer. The third backs away towards the cell.
[20:53:18] Skyshine levels her pistol at the remaining officer. "Star is right. What you're doing is wrong. Now you can back down and surrender, or I swear by my pretty pink pistol I will end you."
[20:56:49] <%Somber> He shook, looked at the two on the ground... and backed up against the bars. The four ponies within reached through and grabbed his limbs and neck. The pony gasped, gun falling from his mouth to be caught by one of the prisoners. "No!" the officer shouts. Then there are two more shots and the officer falls to the ground, dead. "Let us out so we can
[20:57:12] <%Somber> finish off the rest of these fuckers!" One of the prisoners swore, the police officer's revolver now empty.
[20:58:20] Tiller shakes his head grimly and holsters his pink weapon, returning his attention to the locked steel door. He gets out his screwdriver and bobby pins.
[20:59:58] Tiller "Wait... what am I doing...?" He walks over to the corpses and turns up a set of keys, trying them in the steel door.
[21:00:10] Skyshine sighs and holsters her pistol. "You aren't killing anypony else. Nopony should die without reason. We've got to do better. Things can always get better, we just have to try our best."
[21:01:12] Star_Chaser grumles and sets about reloading her weapon. "Lots of ponies would rather just grab what they can and lean on anyone weaker. No interest in helping those who need it. Disgraceful. Especially from those who are supposed to be their defenders."
[21:03:32] <%Somber> "Let us out! What, do you intend to let us starve?! Are you going to keep us locked up too?! These fuckers were killing us!" The prisoners yelled, some angry and others in tears.
[21:05:40] Star_Chaser moved up to check the prisoners, getting a good look at them. The delusions were becoming stronger. Which was definitely not helping.
[21:07:10] <%Somber> Some were clearly criminals, others were desperate, wounded, and scared. It'd be impossible to winnow through who was who though.
[21:07:57] Tiller "Somepony please come in here and aim at this door when I open it. I don't want any surprises lurking on the other side."
[21:08:06] <%Somber> One key opened the door into the central control room. There were stairs and an elevator going up, the door controls, and in the corner a spark generator humming away, several expended spark batteries around it.
[21:08:53] Skyshine looks around the main room, and trots over to the guard station to let Aria in. She waves to the unicorn, motioning for her to go into the airlock.
[21:09:01] Star_Chaser moved over beside Tiller to keep an eye on the prisoners. "We're going to open this door. Any of you try anything and just remember what we just got done doing. I may not approve of abusing the helpless, but I'll be damned if I let someone hurt my friends."
[21:09:56] Tiller swings open the door as Skyshine aims at it.
[21:10:11] Aria nods, smiling upon seeing Skyshine unharmed. Trotting through, Aria looks at the others. "What the hay?"
[21:10:49] Tiller presses buttons and cycles Aria through.
[21:12:10] Tiller "Now folks, there are cameras in here and there ain't no doubt that somepony saw what we done did. It's also obvious that the police fired on us first, so that's a point in our favor. And it sounded like the chief would be on our side, at least for the moment."
[21:12:48] Star_Chaser snorts. "Weren't you paying attention? Their 'Captain' ordered them to shoot the folks down here. No doubt she's the one we're here after."
[21:13:00] <%Somber> In a blink, Aria's equipment changes when she steps through the door.
[21:14:31] Aria sighs. "Great... Not again..."
[21:14:33] Red_Line tries to follow the others as he does his best to heal them "Can you ponies stand still for a minute." he said to him self
[21:15:28] Aria purses her lips. "I'm still pretty banged up from before. Mind giving me some healing magic?"
[21:15:47] Tiller "Well, I think you look good in pink!"
