- Bio: An orphan dwarf who fell in with a group of thieves in the city of Kerth in Tairani. He was (and still is) constantly picked on for his height, as even for a dwarf he is quite short at only four feet tall. He's usually quick to defend himself by pointing out that in his line of work being a shortarse is a good thing, since he can hide in shadows much easier than his bigger compatriots, fit into smaller spaces, and is generally harder to fight when push comes to shove because the average guard isn't used to attacking or being attacked from that low a position.
- Although members constantly come and go in the group due to various reasons (arrests, for example), Taft has stayed active and constant since the age of ten... and considering he recently turned twenty-five, he's starting to think of heading out of Kerth for a new city. Leaving the lifelong familiar environs would be quite a step for the dwarf and so he hasn't done it yet, but he's aware it's only a matter of time before he ends up in irons himself if he stays; the guards are getting too familiar with his tricks.
