If you're reading this pamphlet, congratulations on your first journey across the stars!

You may or may not have heard of the various stories and conflicting research about interstellar travel via the universal constant that is the Meta. Never fear, because this handy dandy information packet is designed to educate you with just the facts! This pamphlet is great for any sapient species of any age, no matter if they're traveling aboard a lowly rowboat or boarding the greatest military flagships! Let's get started, shall we?

HISTORY

Unlike many myths and legends that the various species that inhabit this universe propagate to varying degrees of accuracy and popularity, there is but a single source for why the Meta is ever-present throughout all of existence: the true goddess herself, Godzilla!

As was ordained by the queen of the True Titans, all knowledge of Meta traversal was made a constant among all races, among other things. This was to ensure that every species had an existing knowledge base that would allow for smooth interactions when the time came. So you can bet that there aren't any mistakes in these details!

It all began with the war between the True Titans and the Old Gods, a clash of monumentally gigantic proportions that set Godzilla and her followers on a collision course with the dreaded Devil of the Void, Ghidorah! Prior to the true goddess's ascension as the undisputed ruler of all things, the vacuum of space wasn't always so bright and welcoming. Indeed, the Meta was once hidden behind the curtains of a harsh and unforgiving darkness where no mortal could inhabit, where travel was limited to only the gods and their highest creations.

Universal legends tell of the battles between these 2 divine factions being of such monumentally gargantuan scale that they tore apart the very fabric of reality itself, merging our universe with the Meta itself fully!

Luckily for all those living today, the Ruler of All Monsters and her subjects managed to calm the raging storms of the interdimensional tides by condensing all of what was once dark space into a fine atmosphere of magical energies, conveniently making it both breathable and accessible for interstellar travel by shortening the distances between planetary bodies!

Which coincidentally brings us to our next topic!

MECHANICS

While the finer details are better examined by a professional, anyone can learn the basics of how to traverse the universe via the ever-present star road that is the Meta!

All it requires is a healthy helping of the core tenant of all magics, Bioenergy!

Bioenergy, for the uninitiated, is the underlying core that links the various aspects of an object's existence. This includes nutrition levels, the soul, various magical properties, and a tiny piece of the Meta itself. That last part right there is key, friends!

Meta travel is made possible via harmonic resonance between the greater sea of the Meta lining what was once the dark space of the universe and the concentrated Bioenergy of an object. However, not just any old amount of Bioenergy will do, or else any ordinary sapient species could've just explored the vast reaches of the vacuum of space unassisted! As it turns out, you need a rather significant amount, a level of Bioenergy that simply isn't possible to reach within most people. Instead, we rely on special crystalline formations known as Elder Crystals.

Elder Crystals are the purest form of Bioenergy, formed from general environmental processes that lead to the energies of powerful Monsters to pool and collect in particular locations. When these energies collect in large enough quantities, they begin to solidify into crystals of rather high purity, so much so that even comparatively small chunks can power even large vessels like large battleships for lengthy periods of time before needing to be replaced.

You then need a Meta Derivation Complex Engine, or MDC Engine. MDC Engines are essentially metal furnaces that house the Elder Crystal within, keeping the crystal chunks suspended above an open flame. When exposed to this low level of heat, the Elder Crystal's inherent Bioenergy will be activated, though not to the extent that it might explode! In this state, these chunks can provide a sizable amount of raw power that's used by hooking up the implanted crystal seed with copper wiring to any given electrical device, such as the propellers used in space travel.

However, to trigger a Meta Tear that allows for extremely quick travel between interstellar locations, you need a finer touch!

Enter the music box! Using the Elder Crystal's own energy to power the device, the music box, which is mounted within the MDC Engine above the crystal chunk, blasts out a specific musical pattern that initiates a harmonic resonance within the Bioenergy seed! This creates a tunnel in the localized Meta that a ship or boat is floating in, allowing for the vessel to traverse through it under its own propelling power.
