My current guess is that Mahiru will be the first to die, just because she has a camera and that will make the case super easy to solve (as it's the first one)
the tripping up scene with mikan was weird
as the last game seemed to go out it's way to avoid the most blatant fanservice, darkening out panty shots etc

My guess is that it was the yakuza guy, I saw him with some paper the day before,
that was him discovering the past. He murders her, then short girl sees the body,
flees, that sharp tooth guy finds body and as the third person the alarm sounds

I've just finished exploring the third island in DR2 and I have a couple of new theories.
(1) the murder will take place in the hospital because it has a big corridor etc to explore,
so mikan is either the victim or the main suspect. ;p
(2) with this talk of the "reserve hope academy," my guess is this that all the
students here are the reserve students, the ones that sparked the disaster that
half destroyed the world. Although I'm not sure why togami would be here too,
maybe the togami from DR1 had an overweight twin brother?

Fuck, Ibuki in the hospital gown at night was friggin scary. I jumped when I saw her in the corridor

On seeing the two bodies, my theory is that it's a pair of killers who are hoping they'll both
be left off the island if they win
Assuming it is a pair, then Sonia and mechanic guy are the biggest suspects.
Sonia because she's obsessed with serial killers, and the mechanic guy just because he'll do anything she'll say.
Otherwise I don't understand why they'd kill two people, just seems overly risky?

I've got a couple of theories of how it might have been done but neither seems to work well
Perhaps ibuki was given a whole set of instructions, not just "hang yourself", so once the camera stopped showing her going up the ladder she stopped, went back and killed hiyako (as per orders), locked the door, then hung herself (rather than hanging first). But I think the protag saw her hanging body before hiyako was seen dead so that doesn't work.

My other possible theory is that Sonia was the one with a bag overhead at first,the bag was to hide her identity.
Not sure why or how yet.

I'm a bit sleepy so I've not reached the trial yet, will hopefully have a better theory for when it starts.

Just about to start the class trial. Monokuma seems to rule out two murderers,
 so I guess my initial plot was wrong, but I've got some new ideas.
It appears the video we saw was actually something that was setup in the conference room of the hospital
and made to look like the music place, I'm guessing Sonia pretending to be Ibuki so as to make it look
like Ibuki was still alive up to that point. But I just don't see the point in that yet,
I'm really not sure about this one.

Hmm actually I just thought, akane mentioned the dressing gowns were uni-sex,
so I suppose it might have been one of the guys dressed up and pretending to be Ibuki?

Not really gotten to much evidence yet, but I'm starting to suspect mikan.
She had such extensive access to the hospital to both tell Ibuki to kill herself,
setup the conference room fake, and with her skill with bandages could she perhaps tie up hiyako super quick?

I'm really hoping its not hamster guy, he's been speaking a lot on this trial and that sometimes indicates guilt

Chiaki is currently my leading suspect for being the traitor, she feels so disconnected from the world that I can imagine her falling into the "World Ender" cult
Plus she's been so reliable and nice so far, so her being the traitor would be a typical DR2 twist ??
i'm also sure Gandamu can't be the traitor, because the world ender stuff would sound so silly coming from him and his 4 Diva's of destruction ??
Nagito is too obviously suspicious to be the traitor
Akane just doesn't have the guile for it, she lets her emotions run too wild to hide being a traitor
Sonia's personality would fit being the traitor, but then that makes her an obvious choice so DR2 probably won't pick her ??
Kazuichi seems too obsessed with Sonia to be the traitor
Oh and Hajime being the traitor would be cheating ??

Just about to start the class trial, this is certainly a hard one.
At the moment all I can really work out is that all the clocks were changed so they'd stay on bed, all except nekomaru who knew the real time. He went to the 7am practice as usual where the murderer managed to press his sleep button
They tied him up and set his alarm for 30 min later and made their escape
Then when the alarm goes off in the red room lounge, the murderer is already there with his alibi,
while nekomaru wakes up, wrestles with his binds and accidently pulls down the pillar on himself
The broken elevator and locked doors and seem to indicate that the murderer must have fled into the green
(girls) section, but with all this messed up stuff about compasses and the room arrangement,
I assume that's all a trap and the killer actually made it back to the boys area
So the murderer is either hamster guy or mechanic guy.
Due to the fairly complex plan I think it was mechanic guy, perhaps thinking he could have his princess
from starvation this way

That's why he had duct tape on, so nobody heard his screams as he stabbed himself.

Half way through the trial, fuck I just had a horrible thought,

*If* that wasn't a joke, then I think this whole thing is like a computer simulation
they're all hooked up to a computer or something
and they keep replaying it, trying to generate more despair for the player
so no matter what the player does, things go wrong

Still exploring the school and reading the hologram emails
New theory: all the characters from Dr 2 are actually remnants of "despair"
and the survivors from dr1 have sent them to this island to redeem them and show that hope still remains

Ah,finally finished, it was much longer than I expected
I'm so glad there was an epilogue, I thought it would end just before that like dr1 did
