From farm subsidies to genetically modified foods to improper medical regulations, America is now a country that actively sets out to feed it’s people to make them fat and satisfied only then to shame them for being overweight so they can sell them magic pills or worse still actually perform surgery on them to cut out the fat.
  19. Sometimes diets alone do not work and medical processes are required. However, we are not always given or informed about all the possible procedures. For this reason, this write up is for you.

  65. You can also Google and read reports of deaths attributed to people consuming DNP for weight loss. Many people consider DNP to be very dangerous and to tell you the absolute truth; DNP IS THE MOST DANGEROUS DRUG FOR WEIGHT LOSS EVERY CREATED. It is also the MOST EFFECTIVE weight loss drug hands down. This is the reason it has maintained its place in many people’s weight loss routine. This is not surprising given the statistics related to obesity itself.

  69. Obesity costs the world billions of dollars every year with yearly premature death statistics as a result of obesity rising every year. The numbers in the USA are staggering and there seems to be no end in sight.
  70. • $190 Billion USD are spent in medical costs every year that stem from obesity. That is 21% of the total US Health Care.
  71. • $164 Billion USD are lost by US employers due to loss in productivity due to obesity per year.
  72. • $4.3 Billion USD are lost annually as a result of obesity-related job absenteeism annually.
  73. • $14.3 Billion USD is how much childhood obesity costs the US each year.

  79. Those are the costs to the society. The costs to each living obese person cannot be measured. While many years ago there was some research that put the out of pocket cost of being obese at close to $5,000 USD a year for woman and $3,000 USD a year for a male,(George Washington University Report 2010), you cannot measure the mental, physical and emotional costs an obese person struggles with.

  82. If you are reading this, then you might be a person who understands what it is like to live your life overweight. The overweight person spends money on food for binging, money on special meals for losing weight, money for diet pills, exercise machines, gym memberships and more. The average overweight person has three pairs of everything in their wardrobe; they have the overweight clothes, the medium clothes and the skinny clothes.

  84. Beyond the financial burdens of living as an overweight person there are the emotional and mental tolls placed on an obese person that we cannot place a value on. Living life overweight is not just unhealthy, it is almost the same as being sentenced to a lifetime prison term. While eating healthy and exercising is the prescribed method to combat obesity and it works for some, why is that not working of everyone?

  88. As a person who was overweight for 40 years, I can tell you that I would have done anything to find a reasonable solution to my weight issues. I know for a fact that I did more damage to my body being overweight then any damage that DNP could do to me.

  90. Further, I did huge damage to my body and health by yo-yo dieting; following fad diets, using fad diet pills with god knows what else was in them. Yes DNP is dangerous, but if used properly DNP is safer then many items used in weight loss today. For example, Ephedrine was used widely as a weight loss supplement; however it was taken off the market for causing cardiovascular issues such as tachycardia and cardiac arrhythmias etc…

  92. Our society’s approach to the problem

  94. While it is legal to be obese, it is often illegal to buy effective medicine that can help in weight loss. We can get very few items easily over the counter that even attempt to help, and the doctors visits and prescription costs for ineffective medicines are staggering. I would gladly pay those costs if what they did for me were effective, but it is not.

  96. In a society that has failed to find a solution to the Obesity Epidemic, a society that is still allowing poor health education and nutrition in it’s schools, a society that is buckling under the costs of Obesity, you would think that the leaders might take action and do something positive.
  97. However the doctors and politicians in America cave to the pressures of lobbyists, and instead of allowing people to make a choice about their own health and which medicines to try, ban substances that have proven to be effective.

The USA has dolled out at least $19 billion dollars in subsidies over the last 18 years to companies producing corn starch, sweeteners and soy oils, all of which are ingredients in junk food (report by the Public Interest Research Group, Further data on ucsusa.org the union of concerned scientists reports on Food & Agriculture).

  101. Even by omitting potential beneficial items we are prevented from further research being done which could mean a safer, healthier drug to be created.

  103. Should it not be your choice what you take and use if it has the potential to help you even if it can harm you? I think everyone has that right, but unfortunately in many countries, these decisions are placed in the hands of the politicians and lobbyists who decide what you are allowed to do.

  105. Currently the treatments for obesity are based on lowering caloric intake and increasing physical activity to burn more calories. As you lose fat your body will resist and want to protect you by holding onto fat as well as increasing your appetite. To achieve weight loss by negative caloric intake requires will power and at the same time we are bombarded by triggers to eat in our society. Our society is based on yo-yo dieting techniques and crash diets.

  107. Americans spend $33 billion dollars per year on products for weight – loss. Most of those are diet aids. 98% of the people who lose weight gain it back within 5 years and 90% of the people who lose weight gain back MORE weight then they originally lost. (sphweb.bumc.bu.edu review of diets)

  109. If a perfect weight loss drug is ever found then many companies will be put out of business because their ineffective pills, diets and programs will not be needed. That is exactly why DNP has achieved and maintains a mythical status in the world today; because it DOES burn fat rapidly with limited rebound weight gain after using it.

  111. The problem is that there is limited access to accurate information about DNP, and most importantly a lack of human studies about its use. This is because it was removed as a diet drug back in the 1930’s by the US FDA.

  113. Many of the studies done were done on lab animals. So we are left with 70 plus years of underground usage, mythical reports of weight loss and deaths due to DNP and a lack of understanding how to use DNP safely. No wonder there are deaths associated with the use of DNP. We currently have no clear cut data on how many deaths are associated with DNP compared to the number of deaths due to abuse of DNP, or other causes in combination with DNP use.

  115. If there was a weight loss drug that could burn fat with limited side effects would you use it? Even if there was a 1 in 10,000 chance you would get sick? For many, they would and will risk everything to get healthy. It is in that desperation people that are dying from misinformation and lack of being able to obtain quality products. There is no reason for people to die on DNP due to lack of information, and hence the reason for this presentation.

  117. History of DNP

  119. DNP was first observed in about 1885 when scientist noticed heating effects on people working with a substance called Martius Yellow, which is a dye created by using DNP. It was widely used in French munitions factories during the First World War. DNP was mixed with other chemicals to make the explosive TNT and the workers who were exposed to DNP sweated profusely, lost weight, and experienced an elevated body temperature. During 1916-1918 about 35 deaths were attributed to exposure to DNP in the ammunitions factories. Simple absorption of the DNP literally cooked the workers to death.

  121. In 1933, intrigued by reports of these munitions workers having low body fat and losing weight, Maurice Tainter and Windsor Cutting at Stanford University began to study DNP.. Their study reported that their test subjects lost up to 1.5 kg / 3.3 lbs. a week without any type of diet.
  122. This discovery lead to multiple companies marketing magic weight loss pills in an unregulated marketplace. While the United States FDA was present, they had very few police powers so manufacturers were allowed to do whatever they wanted. As a result of unsupervised production and sales, multiple deaths occurred in the same way as had occurred in the ammunitions factories with people literally cooking themselves from the inside out. Further, about 1% of the people on DNP developed cataracts (it was mostly women who got cataracts and there are now ways to combat that). So in 1938 the US FDA with newly issued powers discontinued the use of DNP for medical use. While it is not illegal to own DNP in a powder form, it is illegal to sell DNP in capsule form intended for human consumption in the USA.

However, the drug continued to intrigue users and scientists alike and in 1948 WF Loomis and Fritz Lipmann discovered how DNP actually worked (reversible inhibition of the coupling between phosphorylation and oxidation). Through their studies they proved that when DNP is in the body, the fat and carbohydrates in food are broken down but production of energy is impaired, and instead that energy is released as heat. As a result, the body’s reserves of fat and carbohydrates are released and weight is lost.

Earlier DNP studies during the Depression era found that using DNP daily resulted in an average of a 40 percent increase in resting metabolic rate which was maintained for 10 weeks after stopping use. Others reported a ratio of an 11 percent increase in resting metabolic rate per 0,5 grams or five milligrams of DNP according to the person’s bodyweight in kilograms. It should be noted also that they reported a large increase in water retention or Edema. Once people stopped taking DNP they lost all retained water and the fat loss that was hidden by the water retention became clear.

  128. So we now know how DNP works and we know that DNP actually causes weight loss but because of the FDA ban on DNP it remained a hidden product until the 1960’s.

That’s when a Russian-born doctor, Nicholas Bachynsky discovered that the Russians were using DNP to keep the soldiers warm in the cold winters, and that a side effect from using this warming pill was dramatic weight loss. DNP increases body temperature, so the soldiers were warmer when taking DNP, but they were also losing body fat at the same time.

  132. Bachynsky turned around and used that knowledge to open up weight loss clinics across America in the 1980’s, claiming possible weight loss of up to 7 kg (15 lbs.) a week. Even though the US FDA removed DNP from the marketplace in the 1930’s, they never disapproved nor approved of it’s use so DNP was in a technical gray area. Bachynsky continued to treat his patients while fighting a legal battle with the US Government.

In 1985 the Texas State Attorney General sued Bachynsky and his clinics claiming the doctor failed to advise his patients that Mitcal (the name of his weight loss drug made with DNP) was not recognized as safe for weight loss and not approved by the FDA. Note however that it was not illegal to use and is not banned by the FDA, just that he did not fully disclose the drug’s status to his patients. Brachynsky was found guilty of drug violations and was ordered to pay $86,000 USD in fines and fees.

  135. Bachynsky was ultimately convicted of Insurance Fraud and was sentenced to jail. Unfortunately for some and fortunately for others, this was not the end of the story for DNP because in jail Bachynsky was housed in the same jail as Dan Duchaine was. Dan Duchaine is the body builder’s “steroid guru” and he was incarcerated for selling steroids to body builders. Upon his release from prison, Duchaine announced to the world that DNP was the king of fat loss drugs. This chance meeting between Duchaine and Bachynsky reignited the public’s interest in DNP and it remains the miraculous diet pill that works wonders BUT can also kill you, if abused.

  137. How DNP works on the body

  139. In the interests of keeping things simple, and avoiding the deep scientific theories, when we eat, our body converts the items we eat into ATP which then provides energy for your body to work. When we take DNP it halts or slows down the body’s ability to make ATP which forces the body to covert more stored fat into ATP. By it’s very nature, DNP requires the body to burn more energy for everything it does. Reports of an increase of 50% (or more) in metabolic rate according to some studies (mrc-mbu.cam.ac.uk The Mitochondrial Carrier Family). This means that the body can lose FAT, not just weight but FAT, fast. Diet pills you can buy over the counter raise your metabolic rate by roughly 1%, so you can see how effective DNP actually is. There is no comparison between any other weight loss drug and DNP.

  141. In lay terms, imagine driving a motorcycle with the clutch engaged, the motor will be running and overheating but you won’t be going anywhere. That is basically what the body does on DNP. Revving up and working hard, but not actually doing anything. This is also the danger of DNP, if there is too much revving of the motor the engine will ultimately break down. The same applies to DNP, by consuming too much DNP the body will overheat and ultimately break down. However, while you can easily go and buy a new motor, when your body breaks down due to DNP abuse, the only result is death.

  143. Most of the heat being produced is released from the body through the head, and this mechanism helps us to prevent overheating while on DNP.
  144. But it is also the main reason that people overheat while on DNP. Your body’s core temperature is raised and if you ingest too much DNP, your body cannot displace the heat and you can ultimately run the risk of cooking yourself to death.

  148. Benefits of DNP

  150. There is only one benefit of DNP and that is extreme fat loss. More specifically, it seems to target fat around the waist and hips. There are so many products out there that can do certain things plus help in weight loss. However, DNP only does one thing, BURN FAT. There is nothing else to talk about with DNP; it will do nothing besides provide you with fat loss.

  152. Many people who are overweight have trouble losing weight, and many think that it is a simple case of eating fewer calories. However we know that is not true, many overweight people eat half the calories of thin people and they still gain weight. What we do know is that people have defects in certain aspects of fat metabolism. This can be genetic or it can be caused by eating too much and living an unhealthy life style. In any case, some people just cannot lose weight by eating fewer calories.

  154. However, and even though this section is about the benefits of DNP, let me say right here and now, if you abuse DNP, you can die. DNP is not a pill to be taken lightly. It can be used safely and effectively, but when abused DNP will cost you your life.

  156. Dangers

  158. The dangers of DNP are very real, and people who do not give respect to DNP ultimately pay a hefty price. The price is quite simply DEATH. Like many items in this world, if you abuse something you will die, plain and simple.

  160. Taking too much DNP, taking DNP from a poor source, abusing other supplements while on DNP, are all ways you can pay the ultimate price, paying with your life.

  162. I cannot state this often enough, failure to respect the potency of DNP can cause death.

  164. The vast majority of the deaths attributed to DNP are due to user error (in other words stupidity). People taking too much, upping the dose too fast, mixing recreational drugs with DNP, mixing raw DNP powder with water and drinking it, (and my personal nemesis, people with eating disorders taking DNP) all attribute to the death totals of users of DNP. Unfortunately there are some people with Emotional and Eating Disorders that believe they are overweight when in reality, to others, they are very underweight. There have been a few cases of people suffering from these disorders that have died from using DNP. People can believe that if one works, two is better, three is great, and four is the best. This abuse of the drug itself is probably the leading cause of death associated with DNP.

  166. Very few people actually admit to using DNP, so while we have various reports about the number of fatalities attributed to DNP printed in the news papers, it’s hard to imagine the hundreds of thousands of people using or who have used DNP who are achieving or have achieved weight loss.

  168. The dangers of using DNP, besides death if abused, are mainly four items:

  170. 1) Cataracts: Cataracts are a medical condition where the lens of the eye becomes opaque resulting in blurred vision. This is the biggest danger of DNP; and there is a larger possibility of WOMEN rather than men developing cataracts. However this is also related to the lower body weights and higher doses that women were taking. Women developing cataracts were found to be taking a higher dose of DNP then they should in many cases. If used wisely, the risk of cataracts is lower then the dangers of various other alternative drugs on the market. It was the issue of Cataracts as well as some deaths that resulted in the removal of DNP from the list of acceptable fat loss treatments in the US. There are currently suggestions for supplements, which help reduce the risk of developing Cataracts. Please see the section on supplements to use for these items.
  171. 2) Overheating: The body can overheat and you can cook yourself to death from the inside out. As we have already discussed, dying is a danger, as there is the risk that you cause brain or organ damage from overheating your body to a high extent. Please understand that there is nothing you can do if you overdose. There is no counter drug to reduce the effects of DNP. If used in lower doses and safely your temperature will not raise to a dangerous level.. When you increase doses, you run the risk of overheating.
  172. 3) Rashes: Various studies have estimated that 7-10% of users of DNP develop skin rashes. Having Benadryl handy and using Benadryl while on DNP solves this issue for most people. Since there are very limited formal studies, the exact figure is hard to estimate. However, in most cases, 1 out of 10 users report some type of skin irritation. As such, it is worth repeating again that we highly recommend having Benadryl or a similar item to hand when using DNP.
  173. 4) Lowering of White Blood Cells: Taking DNP for LONG periods of time has shown to decrease certain types of white blood cells that fight disease. (atsdr.cdc.gov toxprofiles)

  175. There have been indications that as a result of the loss of white blood cells, long term use can mean cause you to get infections more easily than usual. But it is interesting to note that the Department of Health and Human Services, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, and the US EPA have not classified DNP as causing cancer.   177. While the dangers are real and obvious, why would any person want to use DNP? Because hands down DNP is the most effective fat burning medicine ever found. If used properly, it achieves the results that other drugs fail to do.

  179. What many find very concerning is that if you talk about DNP you will hear and see reports by people who have never used or studied DNP. The world of DNP conversation is full of what we call BRO SCIENCE, a complete and utter fantasy world of people who like to talk about things they’ve never done or used. These people are hiding behind their keyboards, posting anything they want and people believe these reports. If you look up on any Body Building Forum and look for DNP, you will see people saying things like “If you use it you die.” When you ask, have you used it? they invariably say no but they have heard about a guy who knew a guy who talked to a guy who died from it. This is NOT a reliable source of information and one of the reasons for this presentation.

  181. Risk vs. Rewards of using DNP

  183. Everyone needs to make their own choice about using DNP or not and that choice is different for everyone.

  185. Positives:
  186.  
  187. 1) DNP can help you obtain a month’s worth of weight loss in a few days.
  188. 2) DNP can help you break through plateaus.
  189. 3) DNP is not catabolic (damaging muscles) like many medications, meaning it will not affect or harm your muscles. Other medicines do harm your muscles like Ephedrine and others. Your heart is a muscle, many weight loss drugs harm your heart, DNP is non catabolic and it does not affect your muscles (i.e. your heart).
  190. 4) DNP causes few cardiovascular complications. Thyroid weight loss drugs that raise your metabolic rate always lead to some type of heart stimulation and complications for people with cardiovascular problems. DNP does not stimulate your cardiovascular system at all; in fact an average fall of 9.4 diastolic and 12.6 systolic blood pressure readings were shown (Novel mitochondrial uncoupling methods and compositions for enhancing adipocyte thermogenesis). In simple terms, your cardiovascular system improves on every scale.
  191. 5) DNP on a low dose over a long period of time has shown to treat obesity. Multiple studies have shown obese people losing weight going on an alternating day schedule of DNP.
  192. 6) DNP is safe for the kidney and liver. In fact, it has even reduced fatty liver. Many weight loss pills are toxic to the Liver. Fatty Liver Disease is when fat is deposited in the liver. DNP aids in removing those fat deposits.
  193. 7) DNP is non hormonal so weight that comes off, tends to stay off without the rebound that is common with other medications. Most diets or diet products affect your hormones and have a rebound effect; once you stop you gain weight, with DNP there is very little rebound effect.
  194. 8) DNP helps decrease user’s Diabetes medication, by improving glucose tolerance.
  195. 9) DNP helps to boost your immune system.
  196. 10) DNP is anti carcinogenic, non-cancer causing.

  199. Negatives:

  201. 1) Skin Rash: already discussed, and Benadryl in useful to have handy in case of a rash.
  202. 2) Increased Heat: this is unavoidable; you will get hot and sweat. People that need to wear formal or semi formal clothing all the time should consider a low dose, or a very low dose, as DNP will make you hot and sweat profusely.
  203. 3) Unavailability: It may not be available in your country or location. DNP is available as a raw product in many countries, but to make it into a diet pill takes formulation. So buying DNP as a diet pill you might have to rely on online sellers overseas who may or may not be valid sources. Most countries have no law against having DNP or using DNP, just rules against the sale of DNP as a weight loss supplement. DNP is still legal in the United States for other purposes, but it is not legal to market it as a diet pill.
  204. 4) Risk of Cataracts (mostly in women but the risks can be reduced as discussed.
  205. 5) The biggest risk, DEATH.

If used wisely, DNP is safer for the body due to the non catabolic and non hormonal affects then most diet medications out there; it is only when DNP is abused or used by the wrong type of person that the chances of it causing death.. These are the only times you hear about DNP in the news, when someone misuses and abuses the medication.

  209. Is reaching a safe weight level important to you? Are you tired of being overweight and have tried every pill, diet, etc.… around? If so, do you want to try to do everything you can to lose that weight? Are you tired of other people telling you what you can and cannot take when it affects your life / health and livelihood?

  211. If people respond to these questions positively, they may look at DNP.

  213. They may see that it is possible for the rewards of losing weight to outweigh the risks (and if used properly DNP carries very little risk overall) and therefore see the reasons for its use.

  215. If you are looking for clinical studies and long term use (meaning use for over a year or two) then there is not much information out there. DNP was removed back in the 1930’s and the data we do have is from a few studies by Stanford back in the 1930’s. It is high time that Universities relook at testing DNP because if used wisely it is showing great results.

  217. Dose Cycles

  219. It is almost impossible to provide dosing information for DNP, as it is dependent upon so many variables. So I will provide you three sample dose cycles that have been used safely by many people to achieve weight loss results.

  221. 1) 250 mg every other day: Taking one 250 mg pill a day is very good for females and males who want a safe slow steady weight loss. Dose can be taken anytime in the day and used over long period of time. Please see the tables about half-life, it is important to remember that just because you do not feel something, do not think that DNP is not in your system.
  222. 2) 250 mg every day: Taking one 250 mg pill every day for a moderate range of time (some people have gone two months like this and more). A shorter time frame and a dose a day is still a very safe option.
  223. 3) 500 mg every day: Two pills a day, separated evenly in the day produces a very large and faster weight loss but with more effects like high heat, sweats, etc.… While effective, it is often hard to maintain for a length of time unlike the taking one pill a day. Larger people and people with various genetics will need to dose twice a day to feel the same as some people with one dose a day. Two pills a day has still been shown to be very safe, albeit is in the range when more care needs to be taken.

  225. Now let me discuss what everyone should do especially for first time users.

  227. Due to the fact that some people are allergic to DNP, they should always start on a dose of under 250 mg for the first two - four days. It is further advisable if you have a source of Benadryl on hand when you are using DNP. A normal duration for a first time dose is two weeks. However, many people on a low dose can go for longer than two weeks. Further, it is always best to err on the side of caution: many people prepare DNP at home in their lavatory (not laboratory) and dose it incorrectly.

  229. If and when you ever do multiple pills a day it is best to take them evenly spaced. However, many people like to stop taking pills at 5 pm to try to have a better night’s sleep, whereas others like to have a pill right before bed and sleep through the side effects.

  231. For dosing, DNP is weight-dependent. A 100 kg (220 lb.) weight lifter will be able to tolerate a higher dose then a 50 kg (110 lb.) female. It should be noted that some people with a large mass but lean weight have taken over 1000 mg of DNP a day; however for weight loss there is NO reason, absolutely ZERO reason to go this high.

  233. Sometimes people can take 750 mg a day but that is a very high dose and people should be very careful on a dose that high. This is the range that many in the bodybuilding community take, people that have a history and knowledge of supplement use. It is 100% not recommended for the average person. The dose for the average person is dependent on weight, age, health, activity, nutrition etc.… So use caution when starting on DNP it does not matter what another person can take, learn what you can take safely. Most importantly: REMEMBER NEVER TO TAKE MORE THAN 250-300 MG OF DNP AT ANY ONE TIME. You must split up the doses evenly throughout the day.

  235. For the length of your cycle (time on DNP) some people do a very heavy dose over a short time frame, like two weeks, while others take a low dose and continue on it for months at a time.

  237. For general fat loss and safety it is advised to take a lower dose over a longer period time. It is easy to get impatient and want to up the dose to get a faster fat burn, and it is true that DNP will burn more fat at a higher dose; however, it will also kill you at a higher dose. Please remember and understand that it takes a few days for you to initially feel the effects of DNP and that DNP has a half-life. Just because you do not feel very much on the first day does NOT give you a reason to increase your dosage. Once you do a cycle, you should stay off of DNP for two to four weeks before doing another cycle.

DNP has a 36 hour half-life, meaning that it stays in your blood supply for 36 hours and increasing its potency every time you take it. The dose suggestions above list out potentially suitable doses of pills. but below you can see what the value of DNP is inside your body at any given time.

Plus remember, depending on your source of DNP (many guys make it in their toilet at home) you might or might not be getting a level dose. If you buy 250mg DNP from the guy at the gym how sure are you of getting an accurate dose? Please choose your source of DNP wisely.

  253. Nutrition, sleep and proper exercise are the cornerstones to optimal health. However, if you are going to utilize DNP then here is what we suggest you doing diet-wise. There is generally no reason to change your current diet when you go on DNP. However, in today’s world of low carbohydrate diets, you should have a minimum amount of carbohydrates to avoid crashing (lack of energy). You should definitely not follow any type of ketogenic diet, which is high fat, adequate protein and low carbohydrate.

  255. Maybe people suggest going on low carbohydrate diets prior to starting DNP to deplete your stored glycogen and then eating more carbohydrates while on DNP. Others just prefer to have a lower carbohydrate diet like normal.

  257. You will get sugar cravings while on DNP and people suggest leaving a sugary lemon tea or a can of sweet cola in the refrigerator taking sips of it when you get a craving. Having an assortment of fruit on hand cut up ready to snack on is also advised. Normally we try to avoid fructose when dieting; however, while taking DNP, the fructose in the fruit is desirable as it can help replenish the liver. Also some supplements (discussed later) can help ward of cravings such as Ephedrine and Yohimbine.

  259. The negative aspect of eating carbohydrates while on DNP is that your body will react to the added fuel, and you will sweat profusely. Roughly 15 to 30 minutes after ingesting carbohydrates you will start to feel warm and you have an increase in heat sensation / sweats for roughly the next two hours. So, to avoid having night sweats all night long try to avoid any carbohydrates in the evening.

  261. So, in summary, the diet can be what you are doing now as long as you have carbohydrates in it. Many people try to go on 33% protein, 33% fat and 33% carbohydrate. While others prefer to keep a normal diet but they are not afraid to add some extra carbs to keep the body burning during the day.

  263. Drinking plenty of fluid should go without saying. DNP will cause the body to retain water and this will help to flush items out of your system. I would definitely increase the amount of water you take daily. Do not worry about the increased water retention as you will drop the water after finishing DNP. Please be assured that while you will retain water on DNP and this may not give you the look you are after, as soon as you stop using DNP, you will see the significant changes, as you will drop the water and look great.

  267. There are certain items that I definitely recommend while using DNP if at all possible and others that can help you but are not mandatory.

  269. Highly Important Supplements (dose throughout the day):

  274. Debated Supplements but ones I agree with:

  278. 3) Sibutramine: an appetite suppressant to control the carb cravings you will have.

  282. 1) Glutathione (200 mg in divided in equal doses)
  283. 2) Pyruvate (up to 1 g a dose up to 3 doses a day)

  285. Some people preach about taking other items, however these are all personal choice. In all reality, people tend to take too many supplements.

  287. The items that some people suggest taking are:

  293. Benadryl (discussed later due to skin rash)

  295. Grape Seed Extract

  300. All of these items will not hurt you if you take them with DNP, and they might provide some benefits. People who take these extra items for a variety of reasons such as excessive hunger, sweating, and tiredness, and such.

  302. Supplementing T3 while on DNP is a hotly debated topic and people’s beliefs swing both ways. The thyroid controls how quickly the body uses energy and makes protein. Taking DNP is shown to reduce the conversion from T4-T3 making you tired due to lack of production of energy. T3 is a thyroid medication which instructs your thyroid to increases your energy production. DNP makes you lethargic and does shut down your thyroid. So to combat your lethargic feelings, help control sugar carvings and to help burn fat, many people do supplement T3.

  304. If you decide to take thyroid supplementation (using T3) which we do suggest, then you will want to take 50 mcg of T3 daily. It has been our experience that by taking T3 while on DNP, that it has made our weight loss that much better, given us more energy, and helped lessen any rebound after stopping DNP. While not mandatory, using T3 makes sense to many people.

  308. Unfortunately these questions have been asked and while they may seem to be self-evident it is best to include these here. Items you should not take or use while on DNP:

  310. 1) Do not drink alcohol while taking DNP;
  311. 2) Do not use a Sauna or Sauna Suit to increase core body temperature while on DNP;
  312. 3) Do not take more then 1 gram (1,000 mg) of DNP a day;
  313. 4) Do not take any antidepressants, beta-blockers or muscle relaxers while on DNP;
  314. 5) If you throw up while on DNP (due to the pill) stop the pill and wait 24 hours before trying again;
  315. 6) If you feel any loss of sensation in the body then stop taking DNP immediately;
  316. 7) If you develop a rash, take Benadryl immediately and stop taking DNP and use the Benadryl for a while. After a while you can start using DNP again.
  317. 8) Again, if you get a skin rash it does NOT mean you can never use DNP. For your next cycle of DNP, start with Benadryl a couple of days before then take it through your DNP cycle.
  318. 9) Do not take any form of recreational DRUGS while on DNP.
  319. 10) Do not take ecstasy, GHB, etc.…

  321. If you must take drugs and cannot work without them, then please do NOT take DNP.
  322. It should be noted that many body builders will be taking various steroids while on DNP. When I state you must not take drugs while on DNP I am not referring to steroids, I am referring to various legal/illegal drugs used around the world today.

  326. Anything with the effectiveness of DNP will certainly have some side effects. These may include:

  328. 1) Yellow body fluids
  329. 2) Increased body temperature
  330. 3) Carbohydrate cravings

  332. 5) Dehydration
  333. 6) Insomnia
  334. 7) Heavy breathing
  335. 8) Headaches
  336. 9) Nausea
  337. 10) Water retention
  338. 11) Difficult in breathing due to shortness of breath
  339. 12) Reduction of T3
  340. 13) Vision problems (rarely on low dose)
  341. 14) Skin rash
  342. 15) Muscle cramps

  346. Exercise on DNP

  348. While on DNP, you can continue to train; however you will not have as much energy to do any intensive training. You will not be growing large muscles on DNP so use lighter weights in your gym sessions, cut your sessions to shorter than normal and do moderate repetitions. Some experts have gone as far as to suggest making your gym session only 30 minutes long. While others say take a full hour for your session but do moderate weights, light repetitions with plenty of rest between sets.

  350. While on DNP, your endurance will greatly decrease as your heart and lungs are working to meet the demands of the DNP. As such, many people do not perform any cardiovascular exercise while on DNP. Others suggest doing a light 20-30 minutes slow cardiovascular routine, which we actually agree with. Either way, your body is doing extra cardiovascular work for you all day long, so it is up to the user.

  352. Remember that DNP causes heat, and you can suffer from dizziness or light-headedness. So while lifting weights maintain awareness and use caution on your routines. Further, remember to consume a large quantity of water during your work out.

  354. Your body is exercising all day long, so if you are tired and do not feel like pushing hard or doing much in the gym, it is acceptable to take some rest while on DNP. It is more than acceptable; in fact it is preferred and recommended.

  358. Many people report that they take one pill and do not feel anything so they immediately up the dosage of DNP, which is wrong. To give you a rough idea of what to expect on one pill of DNP please look at the guide below. While it will vary from person to person, this gives you a rough indication.

  362. Day 1: Rarely are any effects felt. At most a few carbohydrate cravings.
  363. Day 2: Your thyroid should be slowing down creating a lethargic feeling.

  374. TIPS for Using DNP

  376. If you have made the decision to use DNP in your weight loss plan, then here are a collection of tips for your use:

  378. 1) It is best to use DNP for three weeks and then to take two weeks off. The mind needs to take time off the DNP as it is taxing your system. It is also advisable to give your ATP cycle a rest as well. You can easily extend time out if you like if everything is going well for you.
  379. 2) Take DNP with food to avoid an upset stomach. If you do vomit while taking DNP then stop and rest for a day before trying again.
  380. 3) As heat exits our body mostly through our heads, try to keep a fan near you or anir conditioner when possible. During sleep, use a standing fan, aimed at your head to assist with the night sweats you should have.
  381. 4) Don’t be afraid of increasing your carbohydrate consumption while on DNP, as this will provide fuel for the ATP cycle (in simple terms, energy produced by mitochondria in your cells) and increase the amount burned by the ATP inhibition. DNP also limits the effects of insulin (which blocks lipolysis - the breakdown of fats - and causes fat storage). This means you do not need to be so strict on carbohydrate consumption. You do not want to over consume carbohydrates but when you get a sugar craving it is ok to satisfy it with some carbohydrates.
  382. 5) Wash your sheets daily as well as clothing. You will sweat and that will cause bacteria growth, which can spread germs. DNP uses all your energy so your body is less likely to fight off infections.
  383. 6) Try to wear loose clothing with plenty of airflow and remain in a cool area.
  384. 7) Stay hydrated, especially if you are taking 500 mg or higher of DNP. Drink at least 3 liters of water a day and do not be afraid to drink more. Do not worry about the bloating and water weight, it WILL come off and you will look great after you finish DNP.
  385. 8) Since you are retaining water, and a lot of water, do not worry about the scales OR how you look. Your muscles will be lacking carbohydrates and you will be full of water. This will change a week after you finish your DNP cycle.
  386. Obtaining DNP

  388. With something so effective you might think it would be easy to purchase DNP; however you would be wrong. Due to the limited manufacture of the raw chemical, knowledge on how to mix and formulate the finished product, DNP is not readily available, and finding a suitable source is difficult.

  390. Currently if you Google DNP and sources you will find off the wall web sites or people selling items from Turkey, UK and other locations. Unfortunately these people are known for being scams and if and when they send products, the product is under dosed and mixed with other agents that are harmful for you.

  392. Many people logically assume you can walk into your local gym and find items like steroids as well as DNP. Again, unfortunately if you are lucky to find someone who knows someone who can get DNP, these are usually body builders who mix up DNP in their bathrooms. While many body builders are knowledgeable about their nutrition, supplements, chemistry, etc.… I would never advise taking anything that is home brewed. These are items we are putting in our bodies and it must be made safely, properly dosed, or we could harm ourselves.

  397. Proper Nutrition with exercise is the most powerful tool for a healthy life. However DNP has shown over the years that it is the most effective fat burning pill. While it is dangerous if abused, DNP is effective and can be used safely while minimizing the risks while taking it.
  398. DNP is not right for everyone: people with eating disorders and people on daily medications should not risk taking DNP. But when you are overweight, have tried every diet, pills and exercise regimes there are, with no permanent results, then maybe DNP can assist you.
