  1. You are the Great and Powerful Trixie.
  2. >Mistress of magic, warp-sorceress, the most beautiful pony in Equestria...
  3. >And you were being hunted down like an animal.
  4. >You ran through the Whitetail Woods, as far from the Eldar and their Gate as you could get.
  5. >But you couldn't run fast or far enough.
  6. >You could hear her, behind you.
  7. >Laughing at you as you ran away.
  8. >A puff of displaced air warns you to make a dodge, and you move your head to the side as the spider-woman-monster chasing you lashes out with her wrist-blade.
  9. >It cuts a shallow line in your cheek, and she laughs as you keep running.
  10. >"Yes...run, my little beast. It makes the blood pump faster!"
  11. >You can't keep this up.
  12. >You're getting tired.
  13. >You think it's time to put what Anonymous taught you to the test.
  14. >The way he would have wanted it.
  15.
  16.
  17. >You skid to a stop, scanning the trees for that...that thing.
  18. "Come out, you ugly bug. Trixie's ready for you now!"
  19. >You hear a soft intake of breath and roll forward as the Eldar drops from a tree branch onto your old location, giggling.
  20. >"Hah! Oh, you should have seen your face, little beast! Come now, it's time to end this game. Get back with the rest of your herd."
  21. >She claps her hands together, and you scoff in offense.
  22. >Does she think you're some pet, to be ordered around.
  23. "You will speak of Trixie with more res-"
  24. >The Eldar disappears in a puff of warp power, reappearing in front of you, where both of her wrist-blades wrest at your neck.
  25. >"Care to try that again, animal?"
  26. >You close your eyes.
  27. "Y-yes, Trixie will be good. Just...please, don't cut me anymore!"
  28. >The Eldar snickers behind her helmet, leaning in close.
  29. >"Oh, my simple little beast, it's too late for that. Naughty animals get punished, so they can learn to be good. Now hold still."
  30. >She slowly places the blade next to your eye, and you can feel the wickedly sharp tip.
  31. >Is this thing....shivering as she gets ready to cut you?
  32. >"Oh...this will be..."
  33. "Enough of that."
  34. >You open your eyes, crackling psy-power emenating from them as you finish gathering the Warp.
  35. >"Wha-"
  36. >You unleash the doombolts, a withering hail of purple explosions centered on you, and then you hurl yourself forward with a quick teleport.
  37. >And you keep running.
  38.
  39.
  40. >You hear a shriek of rage and pain as your hooves impact the soft dirt, and you teleport again, in short bursts, back towards Ponyville.
  41. >You've got to warn-
  42. >The Eldar are already here.
  43. >Guardians march through the streets, their rifles held close to their chests.
  44. >They knock on each door and dwelling, their despicable cultists aiding them as they break into buildings and drag out the residents.
  45. >The Eldar do not harm them, but they march the Ponyville citizens ahead of them as they make for the town square.
  46. >Except for those that resist.
  47. >You watch in complete horror as a pegasus, one you recognize but whose name you can't remember, headbutts an Eldar Guardian in the stomach.
  48. >What was his name....Pound Strongwing? Punch Ragevein? Quake Doomtrot? Big McLargehuge?
  49. >Whatever his name is, you silently cheer him on as he turns and bucks another Eldar in the helmet.
  50. >The aliens seem amused at his resistance, laughing, until he rips a knife from the belt of one of the Eldar and cuts the alien across his thigh.
  51. >The creature curses, and one of the Guardians summarily puts his rifle to the pegasus' head and pulls the trigger.
  52. >There is a flash of blue light and a sound like a thousand blades cutting through flesh, and the pegasus drops, his head a lacerated mess.
  53. >You hear screams as the Ponyville residents witness the execution, and you stifle your own terror.
  54. >You had to find Anonymous' other friends.
  55. >You had to find the Elements of Harmony.
  56.
  57.
  58. >You start trotting through the streets, desperate to remain hidden from the Eldar invaders as they gather up the ponies in ponyville.
  59. >You're not sure for what.
  60. >You're not sure you want to know.
  61. >Maybe Pinkie ca-
  62. >A sudden flash of Warp given insight causes you to jerk your head back as a cloudlike blast of energy goes flying near you.
  63. >You watch in horror as tiny filaments in the cloud cut into the house wall next to your head, slicing through concrete and wood as if it were paper.
  64. >You turn, and you spot the Eldar from before, her armor blackened and battered from your doombolts.
  65. >She's aiming her other gun at you.
  66. "Trixie is sure we can talk this out like two reasonable beings."
  67. >"I do not negotiate with animals. Especially animals who serve the Ruinous Powers."
  68. "Negotiation might spare you further humiliation, bug-woman."
  69. >The Eldar lifts her weapon and fires, and you teleport out of there, unwilling to taunt her any further.
  70. >Your target is Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie was Anon's best friend, and you recalled that she had been babysitting the Cakes while you were helping him with his problem.
  71. >You rematerialize in front of Sugarcube Corner's front door.
  72. >The open front door.
  73. >The open front door with two dead Eldar Guardians lying in front of it.
  74.
  75.
  76. >You slowly trot inside, gaping in horror at the carnage inside the building.
  77. >You can count at least four dead Eldar beyond the ones just outside.
  78. >A single squad, dead.
  79. >You see one, impaled on his own alien chainsword on the wall.
  80. >Another lies slumped over the counter, a cupcake still in one hand.
  81. >Two others lie dead at one of the table, knives stuck in the weak points of their xenos-mesh armor.
  82. >It is as silent as a grave inside Sucarcube Corner, and you can feel a taint of....wrongness in the Warp.
  83. >You are afraid.
  84. >But you needed to get Pinkie. She was Anon's best friends. Surely she would help you.
  85. "P-Pinkie? Pinkie Pie? Are you in here? Are you okay?"
  86. >You wander around the back, trotting upstairs as you look for the party mare.
  87. "Pinki-"
  88. >You hear a rustling behind you, and then the kiss of cold steel underneath your chin as somep0ny puts a blade to your neck.
  89. >"Sssshhhhh. The Cakes are sleeping."
  90. "P-Pinkie Pie?"
  91. >"She's not here right now. But I can take a message."
  92.
  93.
  94. "Pinkie....Pinkie it's me...Trixie. Anon's stud-"
  95. >You feel the blade at your neck shift.
  96. >"Hush. Talk when I say you can talk. Now I've got questions, and you're gonna answer them, alright?"
  97. >You nod, carefully.
  98. >What the buck was WRONG with her?
  99. >"Where's Anon? Who are these meanies?"
  100. "I d-don't know where Anon is, Pinkie. These...things....they're trying to take over Ponyville."
  101. >You gulp as Pinkie remains silent.
  102. "Wh-what did you do...downstairs?"
  103. >"They tried to hurt the Cakes.....I don't like that. I don't like that one bit. So I made them some special cupcakes....and then I sliced them all up!"
  104. >You can feel the smile on her lips as she speaks, and you start trembling.
  105. "Pinki-"
  106. >"Sssshhhhh."
  107. >The two of you stay like that for a while, and you hear Pinkie's crazed breathing as she listens for something.
  108. >Suddenly, the knife is gone, and Pinkie pulls away, taking a deep, shuddering breath.
  109. >"Okay....okay.....okay. Trixie...I'm...I'm okay now. I'm fine. All together."
  110. >You turn around, still terrified. The pinke party pony stands in front of you, her knife lying next to her hoof.
  111. >She looks...different. Crazy, definitely.
  112. "Pinkie...you need help."
  113. >She looks at you for a moment, and you think you might have pushed her a bit too far, before she giggles again.
  114. >"Tell me about i-"
  115. >There is a sudden sound from downstairs, and Pinkie's knife is instantly in her mouth, and she turns to look downstairs.
  116. >You hear it again, the Eldar stalker.
  117. >"Come out, come out, wherever you are, my little beasts. Come out and play."
  118.
  119.
  120. >A floorboard creaks suddenly under your hoof.
  121. >You hear laughter from downstairs, and a sudden burst of warp energy as the Eldar teleports again.
  122. >You wait for her to strike.
  123. >You don't have to wait long, as you hear the soft *puff* of Eldar tele-packs going off.
  124. >You counter-teleport, watching as the Eldar drives her wrist blade a foot deep into the wooden floor.
  125. >And Pinkie is on her like a feral cat.
  126. >The Pink mare slashes her blade across the Eldar's face, scoring the wraithbone lightly, but shocking her.
  127. >"ANOTHER one of you cr-"
  128. >You lift a hoof and unleash doombolts into the Eldar's back, and she shrieks as the spell batters her Exarch armor.
  129. >She turns a wrist to you, lifting her strange weapon, before Pinkie is suddenly under her, her knife pressed into the soft, unarmored throat join of her helmet.
  130. >The Eldar freezes, her eyes on you.
  131. >Pinkie's eyes are as cold and hard as glacial ice, and she glances to you once.
  132. "I'm going to ask you some questions, and you answer truthfully, or you...we'll...Pinkie will kill you."
  133. >The Eldar hasn't moved a muscle.
  134. "First, why are you following me?"
  135. >The Eldar gives a croaking laugh, careful not to move her head.
  136. >"Fun. A little diversion while my brothers get affairs in order. They don't want me cutting up the locals, mores the pity."
  137. >You shake your head in disgust.
  138. "Are you truly that depraved? That you'd go around and kill innocent creatures just to sate some...some crazy desire?"
  139. >To your surprise, Pinkie and the Eldar flinch, as one. They both look ashamed, suddenly.
  140. >"I...We're not....not all of my Kin are....like me."
  141. "Don't care, next question. Where is Anon?"
  142. >"According to my brother, trapped in the moon, where he'll spend eternity."
  143.
  144.
  145. >You hear a sudden cry of anguish from Pinkie, and the Eldar howls as the pink mare jabs with her knife.
  146. >The Eldar vanishes with a POP as she teleports to safety, leaving a thin purple mist in the air as her blood drips to the ground and crystallizes.
  147. >Pinkie stares at the spot where she once was, before growling in frustration and stabbing at the wood.
  148. "Pinkie."
  149. >She's still stabbing.
  150. "PINKIE."
  151. >She looks up, madness and fury at war behind her eyes.
  152. "Losing your mind isn't going to get him back. Trixie needs you to stay focused. We need to get your other friends, and we need to get to Twilight Sparkle's library."
  153. >"But the Cakes...."
  154. "Pinkie, I know you're not going to like this, but you'll have to leave them here. We can't get through town with two babies. They'll hear us."
  155. >Pinkie's face twists up in rage, and you think for sure you're dead before she calms down again.
  156. >"Okay...okay. I fed them and put them to bed before all this started. I'll lock the door and hide them. But why do we need to get to the library?"
  157. "Because Trixie needs to do a bit of research if she's going to break Anonymous out of the moon."
  158. >Pinkie gives you the first genuine, non terrifying smile you've seen since you came back to Ponyville.
  159.
  160. FARSEER'S PERSPECTIVE
  161. >Everything is going according to prophecy.
  162. >Your people, even now, spread out across the land, occupying major population centers, such as Ponyville, Fillydelphia, Manehatten, and Las Pegasus.
  163. >They were an invasion force, the first spearhead of Eldar occupation.
  164. >It pained you, distantly, that it had to happen like this, but you had foreseen it.
  165. >They had not believed you about the Chaos Worshipper. They had imprisoned you, and killed any chance for a peaceful alliance.
  166. >So you would conquer them instead.
  167. >You recline on Celestia's massive throne in her castle, your fingers steepled together as you regard Canterlot's subjects, packed into the tiny hall.
  168. >Celestia and Luna lay on their stomachs at your side, Luna weeping onstoppably while Celestia only stares at you in stony silence.
  169. >You had not yet released Twilight Sparkle from your control. And you probably never word.
  170.
  171.
  172. >You fling the courtroom doors open with a contemptuous flick of your stump, and the ponies file out, silent, afraid that a scream of horror might attract your displeasure.
  173. >Silence reigns in the courtroom as Celestia stares at you in shock.
  174. >"You're a monster."
  175. "I do what must be done."
  176. >"What do you mean, what MUST be done? Why are you doing any of this? What have my ponies do-"
  177. >You turn your head towards her as you sense her raising her voice, and you direct a pointed glance at Twilight Sparkle.
  178. >She quiets.
  179. "If you must know, dear Celestia, I am saving my people. War, unending and eternal, reigns in the galaxy beyond this planet. It is a war my people cannot survive. Some of them seek to die, combining their souls in an effort to reincarnate ourselves. My craftworld thinks differently. We seek to escape, and we have followed legends and prophecies to find a way into this world, the Old One's Paradise."
  180. >Your brother shifts behind you, and you feel his displeasure deepen.
  181. >He does not care for your half-truths.
  182. "And we have come here...to find a weapon. Had you complied with me when I first arrived, none of this would have been necessary. We would have established a rapport with your people, fellow children of the Old Ones. We would have lived amongst you in harmony."
  183. >Celestia's eyes hold an eternity of hate when you mention 'harmony.'
  184. >"Please, you don't have to do this. Just let Twilight go......take me instead, just control me like you did la-"
  185. "No, Princess. Doing that took so much of my focus, before. So much of my power, wasted. This is much simpler."
  186. >She begins to weep, and you smile.
  187.
  188.
  189. >You hear quiet clapping behind you, and you turn to regard your brother. The Autarch.
  190. >"Very well spoken, my Kin. Your impression of a brutal mon'keigh monarch is coming along nicely. Making a beast cry, what an accomplishment."
  191. >You scowl. He had always been the one to taunt you. Just because he was born three centuries earlier....
  192. "You know why we must do it this way."
  193. >"Because you have seen it in the visions, my Farseer, I know."
  194. >You sigh at his mocking tone. Between this, the resistance in Ponyville, that irritant of a corpse-caster in the Everfree forest, and your search for Anaris, you were-
  195. >Speak of the devil, the "lich" responded to your first missive.
  196. >You sighed. A Warlock council, lost, along with banshees and guardians. You would send the Wraithlords next time.
  197. >Speaking of which....
  198. "Autarch, your Farseer requires your assistance."
  199. >Your brother stiffens as you address him by his rightful title.
  200. >"Of course...my Farseer. Do you tire of torturing beasts yourself? Do you require aid?"
  201. >His deprecating manner is beginning to irritate you.
  202. "No, Autarch. I require you to lead a section of my forces in battle."
  203. >He chuckles at the idea of needing to "battle" beasts.
  204. >"Where, Farseer?"
  205. "Ponyville, the town we first left the Webway from. I need you to quell an uprising in a place called Sweet Apple Acres."
  206.
  207.
  208. >He glares at you, disgust emenating from him in waves.
  209. >"You're se-"
  210. "Do not argue with my decision, my Kin. Just go. Kill all who resist us. This world must be unified under our rule if we are to survive what is coming."
  211. >He scowls, before marching stiffly towards the exit, his ceremonial cloak billowing behind him, between the Swooping Hawk wings that adorned his Autarch armor.
  212. >As you recline in your seat, he stops suddenly, and you feel a telepathic voice at the corner of your awareness.
  213. >Do not slip into their ways, brother. Do not travel down the path of the Dark Kin, as our sister does.
  214. >I WILL NOT. NOW GO.
  215. >He snorts in disbelief, before marching out of the palace, towards his jetbike.
  216. >He leaves you to brood in silence, Celestia and Luna both glaring at you as you sit on their throne.
  217. >The tense, hostile silence rains in the throne room.
  218. >Until your sister, a Warp Spider Exarch, teleports into the room, coughing and wretching as she clutches at the massive gash in her throat.
  219.
  220. Autarch's Perspective
  221.
  222. >You scowled to yourself as you angled your jetbike towards Ponyville.
  223. >Your brother was fast becoming the same kind of monster that your people were designed to protect.
  224. >To come to a world of the Old Gods, and to bring war with you...
  225. >It was unspeakable.
  226. >You should not be here, not doing what you are about to do.
  227. >But he is your Farseer. He has a grasp on fate. It is his duty, his Path to see what will come and manipulate it to the Eldar's advantage.
  228. >And it was your duty to defend him, and to lead your host to war.
  229. >You had already prayed at the Warrior Shrine of the Scorpion before you donned the mantle of Autarch.
  230. >There could be no turning back.
  231. >Your Jetbike takes you the outskirts of the Apple farm in mon'keigh minutes, and you settle down behind a Guardian firing line.
  232. >Report, Guardians.
  233. >Autarch! Daemons! Three of them, mighty and terrible! They have the aid of three of the beasts!
  234. >Casualties?
  235. >None, my lord. They harm us and hurl us away, but they will not kill.
  236. >Interesting.
  237. >Your brother, the Autarch of this action, stands behind your back. You can sense his disapproval.
  238. >He is not happy about how you are handling the....natives.
  239. "Ponies of Canterlot. I have gathered you here, in the former Court of your Princesses, so that you may formally swear fealty to Craftworld Varantha, and the Eldar race. I have come to demand your loyalty, and inform you of the cost of treason against the new Eldar Empire of Equestria."
  240. >You randomly pick out a pony among the crowd, an unassuming male with a brown coat, and snap the fingers of your remaining hand.
  241. >There is a loud snap, and the pony collapses as his neck breaks.
  242. "The price of treason, is death. I may pick apart your thoughts at my leisure, and at the slightest hint of discontent, I will end you as surely as I ended the traitor at your hooves."
  243.
  244.
  245. >You look out across the farm, noting scorch marks and burn scars, along with the moaning bodies of incapacitated Guardians.
  246. >You are disappointed, but not surprised.
  247. >Guardians knew nothing of true war. They walked the Path of the artisan, of the poet, of the potter. They were only called to war because they were needed.
  248. >You are glad you declined an Aspect Warrior escort.
  249. >You have not fought a true, dangerous battle in centuries. Mon'keigh were no sport when compared to the Necrontyr, or the fury of the daemon.
  250. >You unhook your direswords from your belt, thumbing the activation runes as you stride into the apple orchards.
  251. >It is quiet. But not quiet enough. You can hear them breathing.
  252. >You can hear two equine hearts beating, one in the air, one among the trees to your left.
  253. "You have left my Guardians alive. I thank your for that mercy. So I shall extend the same mercy unto you. Submit, and none will be harmed. Resist, and I will kill every last one of you with my own hands."
  254. >You hear a snort.
  255. >"YE AIN'T HURTIN ANYP0NY SO LONG AS THE CHAOS CRUSADERS ARE AROUND!"
  256. >She comes from the trees.
  257. >Two more daemons come from the sky.
  258. >You hear the two beasts tense.
  259. >So predictable, these animals.
  260.
  261. Autarch's Theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH1D1pcQ7Og
  262. >Three daemon princes, two animals.
  263. >You had been walking the Warrior's Path for 30,000 years.
  264. >They stood no chance.
  265. >The first one, a massive red monster, charges at you, roaring.
  266. >It moves to you as if it's trapped in molasses.
  267. >You vault it's charge, your swooping hawk pack lifting you near fifty feet into the air.
  268. >At the apex of your descent, you unhook four plasma grenades and drop them on the daemon-prince below.
  269. >You twist in the air as the explosions send an updraft your way.
  270. >The twist is to avoid the second Prince, a hated devotee of Slaanesh who screams through the air on a daemoniac scooter.
  271. >Your pivote takes her right past you, and you lash out, kissing her neck with your diresword.
  272. >The power weapon slices a gout of blood in her neck, before the soul stone in it slices at her mind.
  273. >The Slaaneshi daemon careens drunkenly as she passes you, and you turn your attention to your fourth and fifth opponents.
  274. >A blue streak of daemon fire hurtles at you as you continue to to fall, and you bat it away with your left diresword.
  275. >A cyan beast follows the blast of fire, and your aerial twist puts you in the perfect position to slam your foot into it's face.
  276. >So slow, these animals!
  277. >As the blue creature hurls backwards, you complete your twist and fall back to the ground, landing on your feet.
  278. >You pivot your blades once, as the Khornate daemon struggles back to her feet.
  279. "You'll have to do better than an ambush, animal."
  280.
  281.
  282. >You walk towards the red one, the creature staggering back to it's feet, still dazed from the plasma exp-
  283. >Wait.
  284. >You duck your body to the right, swerving aside as the same blue pony you just kicked in the face dives at you again.
  285. >She was faster than the others.
  286. >Too fast for you to catch with your blades as you dodged her passing.
  287. >But she gave the daemon prince time to recover.
  288. >It opens its mouth and roars a gout of molten lava at you, a massive spray of fire and hate and Khorne's bloodlust.
  289. >You leap once more, unassisted by your pack as you jump over the lave and land on the daemon's back.
  290. >You take your diresword in one hand and plunge it into the monster's shoulderblades, cutting at her mind and body with the weapon.
  291. >There was a time where you would have enjoyed a daemon's suffering.
  292. >Now, you feel too jaded to even take pleasure in this combat.
  293. >If you feel anything, it's disgust that your Guardians were taken out by the likes of these.
  294. >"You get off mah sister, you monster!"
  295. >The other one, leaping at you as she spots you stabbing the red daemon.
  296. >You release your grip on the diresword, leaving it buried in the small one's back, and casually reach out, grasping the pony by the neck.
  297. >She comes to a hault in your grasp with an *urk* of surprise.
  298. "You should have accepted my off-"
  299. >A blazing ball of warpfire slams into your chest, knocking you off the daemon prince and weaking your hold on the orange pony.
  300. >You recover in the air, landing on your feet until you slide to a stop.
  301. >Well, well, well.
  302. >The three daemon princes group up in front of you, the Slaaneshi holding her neck, the red one tugging your blade out of her back, and a white one, small and unassuming, already forming more firebolts.
  303. >At least tonight wouldn't be boring.
  304.
  305.
  306. >The white one opens it's mouth, presumably to shout something at you.
  307. >You trigger the mandiblasters in your helmet, filling the air with incredibly accurate, red hot shrapnel that buries itself in the three daemon princes before you.
  308. >They recoil, shocked, even as their wounds begin to heal from the blasters.
  309. >You start walking forward, and the red one starts laughing.
  310. >"THAT ALL YA GOT, YA INSECT MONSTER? YE AREN'T HALF AS TOUGH AS AN-"
  311. >You trigger the mandiblasters a second time, layering them in a tracing lasers that home in on the shrapnel in their skin.
  312. >And turn it into explosive plasma.
  313. >The ensuing eruption tosses your other sword back into your waiting hand, and you keep walking forward.
  314. >The smoke begins to clear, revealing the three pained, astonished daemon princes lying on the ground.
  315. >The combination of plasma grenades, the flesh-rending and soul ravaging of a direblade, and mandiblasters had temporarily overcome their healing.
  316. >You were disappointed. They were daemon princes, that much was clear, but they were so....
  317. >Inexperienced.
  318. >As if they did not understand even half of what they were capable of.
  319. >You hear the whistling on the wind, and you lean to the side as the rainbow and blue beast hurls past you to slam comically into a tree.
  320. >As you turn your head, you spot the orange one with the funny hat staring defiantly up at you.
  321. >"Mister, I dunnow where you came from, or what place makes folks that think they can hurt whoever they want, but I'm tellin' ya, I won't stand fer you attackin' mah kin like this!"
  322.
  323.
  324. >Kin.
  325. >The word shakes you out of your ennui.
  326. >Were you not here, doing this, at the behest of your kin?
  327. >How ironic. Such a revelation from a beast.
  328. >It would be a shame to kill it.
  329. >You tilt your head to the side, studying the orange animal.
  330. "You were given an ultimatum. You ignored it."
  331. >"Cuz this is OUR farm! We ain't givin it up to no frou-frou monster bugs!"
  332. "What gave you the idea that we wanted to take your farm?"
  333. >"Yer little underlings came onto tha farm and tried to clear us out! When we said no, one of em started shootin at us with that weird gun, and Applebloom bucked 'im right in tha chest! Then it just...well...sorta descended into a row."
  334. >You have never felt such contempt for your own species as you did right now. This, here, was evidence for why Bakers and Artisans should not be warriors.
  335. "Their instructions were to round you all up so that you may be informed of the regime change, and the rules of the Eldar Empire. We have no desire to steal your 'farm,' believe me."
  336. >You think about this whole encounter for a moment longer, still wallowing in disgust and loathing for your Guardian squads.
  337. "I retract my previous statement. I will not kill you. The incompetence of the Guardians is to blame for this "rebellion." Receive your instructions from one of the squads."
  338. >Your brother's orders be damned, you weren't going to slaughter these beasts to cover for Guardian incompetence.
  339. >"Okay, but what abou-"
  340. "That will be all."
  341. >You walk back to your jetbike, ignoring the groaning daemon princes and the orange pony.
  342. >You glance at the Guardian squads one last time as they cower behind the rocks.
  343. >You all disgust me, you project to them clearly, before you take off into the night sky.
  344.
  345. Trixie's Perspective
  346. >You can do this, you can do this, you can do this.
  347. >The Great and Powerful Trixie could easily be the Great and Sneaky Trixie.
  348. >Although you had no Equestrian idea why Pinkie insisted the pair of you wear these weird rubber suits.
  349. >The pair of you sneak past a patrol of Guardians, rifles in hand.
  350. >You spot the Eldar everywhere, looking for ponies out past parole.
  351. >You had spotted their short list of rules and regulations, stating the parole and the requirement that the Eldar be fed and obeyed.
  352. >Banshees leap from rooftop to rooftop, looking for disobediant Pegasi.
  353. >And Lyra preaches endlessly from her pullpit in the Town Square, guarded by two Dire Avengers.
  354. >It was enough to make you sick, and Pinkie furious.
  355. >The pair of you furtively trot past a pair of Banshees, the warrior-women doing what you can only describe as a staring contest.
  356. >You're almost at the library.
  357. >Almost there.....
  358. >You hear a humming behind you, and you turn to spot a massive, vaguely humanoid construct stepping over small buildings.
  359. >You eep in surprise, and you grab Pinkie before teleporting directly into the building.
  360. >You thought for sure that thing had almost seen you!
  361.
  362.
  363. >Pinkie grabs you by the face the second the both of you finish teleporting, smooshing your cheeks.
  364. >"Trixie what the BUCK was that!? Why'd you make noise! They could find us! They cou-"
  365. "You're cwushing Twixie's cheekbones."
  366. >She lets go, giggling in that insane way.
  367. >"Heh, heh, sorry."
  368. >Pinkie mellowed out a bit once she spotted the Eldar escorting the Cakes back home, but she's still completely bucking insane.
  369. >"Allright, what are we looking for?"
  370. "Trixie has no idea."
  371. >Pinkie stares at you blankly, and you spot her eye twitch.
  372. "Not like that, Pinkie! It's just...Trixie isn't sure of what to look for. We need to find a book about freeing Anonymous from the moon. Look for something about releasing creatures, like Princess Luna or-"
  373. >"Found it!"
  374. >You had failed to realize that Pinkie had stopped listening to you and had taken a tour of the library, rummaging through books until she found what she wanted.
  375. >She holds the book up to your eyes so you can read it.
  376. >Hmmmm.
  377. >The Ponynomicon.
  378. >Eh, why the buck not?
  379.
  380. Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFOJ13sw8o494qQrk
  381. >You sit down and start flipping through the book, looking for something, anything that could help you get Anonymous out.
  382. >Spells for raising the dead, not what you needed.
  383. >Spells for summoning de-
  384. >Your eyes grow wide, and you shout in fear as the book grabs at your mind, latching on like a man dying of thirst.
  385. >You feel a surge as the book aligns with your warp power.
  386. >Wind picks up in the library, books and notes whirling in an unnatural cyclone.
  387. >Your eyes go white as warp power roars out of your mind, and you begin to chat the words of the spell against your will.
  388. >You float into the air, book clutched in trembling hooves, as Pinkie recoils in fear.
  389. >"Trixie, wha-"
  390. >She stops speaking as something tears open in the floor with a great RIP.
  391. >A swirling portal, a great white void into nothingness.
  392. >The portal heaves and churns, like roiling water, as the book forces you to bring whatever it is through.
  393. >You feel the power build in you, and you exhalt as you feel the presence coming through to you.
  394. >You can almost see him. The mind of a psyker, the massive frame, the armor...
  395. >The tempest of power rises to a thunderous crescendo, and something breaks through the barrier between worlds.
  396. >A single mailed fist, sheathed in grey plate, punches through the portal.
  397. >It clutches a black blade in it's hand.
