  1. ##General
  2.
  3. For builds, check [this page](http://www.smite.guru). While building in Smite is very situational, grappul offers a nice basic build that off of which
  4. you can base your own, optimized build. If you want me to go into details on a certain item / on all of them simply say so and I will.

  6. #Skills
  7.
  8. ##Skilling
  9. Keep in mind that everyone has their own preferences and that the "best" way to skill is the one that best suits your playstyle. There are, however, some basic guidelines that are worth following, which are what I'll try to list below.
  10.
  11. ###Priority
  12. 3>2/1>4 *Your 3 gives you additional physical power when you're not using it, making it worth being maxed over the rest. Max your 1 or 2 afterwards, depending on your playstyle (do you use your 1 to deal dmg? Do you need more sustain?). Max your ult last, as additional points into it only increase the slow.*
  13. ###First five levels
  14. 2>1/3>1/3>3>4 *Your 2 helps you clear faster early. After that, get your 1 / 3 depending on what you need.*
  15. ###General
  16.
  17. Don't skill until the very second that you're going to use it. Keep your skillpoint ready incase the enemy tries to invade / your team needs you. Be ready to put a point in your escape ability if you need to get out quick: it's better to
  18. lose out on a little bit of earlygame power instead of giving away first blood.
  19.
  20. ##Insatiable Hunger
  21. Bakasura's attack and movement speed temporarily increases for each enemy that he kills.
  22.
  23. ##Take Down
  24. Bakasura leaps to his ground target location, doing damage to all enemies in the area and reducing their Physical Protection.
  25.
  26. ##Eat Minion
  27. Bakasura grabs a minion and devours it, healing himself and gaining a Protections Buff. Buff wielding minions must be at 33% Health to be consumed. Up to 6 minions are stored for Regurgitate.
  28.
  29. ##Butcher Blade
  30. Bakasura passively gains Physical Power. When activated, he gains additional true damage on each strike for the duration.
  31.
  32. ##Regurgitate
  33. Bakasura regurgitates all of the minions consumed by his Eat Minion ability at his ground target location that Slows and Cripples enemy players. Bakasura's Basic Attacks become cone attacks and he is immune to Crowd Control for a short duration
  34.
  35. #Tips
  36.
  37. ##General
  38. Bakasura is all about positioning. A Bakasura with good positioning is a nightmare, one with bad positioning a joke.
  39. ###Positioning
  40.
  41. * Map awareness: Constantly check your map, make sure you know where your enemies are and if you don't see them, keep in mind that they could be right next to you. You see their Gods in lane and their Jungler on duo? Feel free to push that solo tower as far as you want. You don't see the jungler? Stay back, stay safe or ward to the extend where you know you'll have enough time to get away.
  42.
  43. * Cooldowns: Keep track of your, but even more so your teammates and your enemies cooldowns. If you saw Ra cast his heal 2 seconds ago remember that he can't save you and stay back until it's off CD. If you want to gank an Anhur either wait for him to use his leap or save your own leap until he uses his, etc.
  44.
  45. * Remember your role: Remember what you're playing and what your strenght & weaknesses are. Don't go rushing at 3 people if you're an Artemis with your ult on CD. Wait for your team. Be strategic about who you attack, when, from where.
  46.
  47. * Don't chase: If your enemy is running away just a basic attack away from death don't just mindlessly chase after him. Go over the above points before you chase someone: Could he lead you into a trapp? Is there an enemy that could rotate to sandwich you / give him backup? Is there a teammate who could pick the kill up for you? Do you have enough power to really finish him off, or is his ult off cooldown and he might manage to kill you instead? Do you have any chance of catching him or does he have too much movementspeed & leaps while you have none? The list goes on and on.
  48.
  49. * Ward, ward ward: Wards win games, really. As soon as you've gotten your most important items always buy two wards when you back. It might delay your items by a bit, but dying will delay you even more. Wards are insanely important and if I have a team where everyone wards, I not only rarely ever lose but I also hardly ever die: I always know who's where, when I can fight and when I need to run.
  50.
  51. ##Insatiable Hunger
  52. This is acually quite a useful passive. Not only does it allow you to clear faster (kill of the small minions, gain attack speed, eat up the bigger ones) but it also helps in a 1vs1 situation. If can kill a minion or two (either by eating them up or with your 1) you can get an easy advantage over your enemy, without having to actively do anything.
  53.
  54. ##Take Down
  55. People often horribly underestimate and misuse this ability.
  56. ###Initiation
  57. You'll usually see this ability used to initiate. If your enemy has no escape, or his escape is on CD, that's ok to do. You bridge the distance between you and them and get off your AAs (which are where your damage comes from).
  58. If they do have an escape on CD, however, you want to save your 1 for when he does use it, as you **have** to be close up to do decent damage.
  59. ###Damage & Protection
  60. This ability acually does quite alot of damage. At max rank, that's 340 +60% phys power, definitely a good bit of damage, and the protection reduction is useful if you're having problems in a 1 vs 1. Keep
  61. in mind that you can use this (as you can all other leaps) to evade certain attacks.
  62.
  63. ##Eat Minion
  64. ###Prioritization
  65. Prioritize bigger minions over smaller ones. This might seem like a small thing, but over the duration of a whole game this makes quite the difference. Be it in lane or when clearing camps, eat up the biggest minion rather than the smaller ones. This not only helps you clear faster, but you'll also take less dmg overall.
  66. ###1 vs 1 situations
  67. This ability is really nice if you're having a face off against someone in lane / near a camp. Not only can you heal up (which is pretty obvious) but you'll also gain protections. You generally want to use this whenever you're having a straight trade off (if they're not expecting). You'll be able to put out loads of damage with your 3 and take less damage yourself due to the protections.
  68. ###Stacking
  69. Your ult does more dmg if you've eaten up a few minions (stacks up to six). Especially later on in the game, it's a good idea to eat up minions whenever you get the chance (e.g. on your way back to lane, eat up a minion from a camp).
  70. Make sure that Eat Minion is off CD when you're expecting a fight though!
  71.
  72. ##Butcher Blades
  73. This ability is your bread and butter. Timing is key.
  74. ###Timing
  75. You have to be close up to your enemy for you to get use out of BB. Even with the extended AA range of your ult, you'll still have to be close up. Make sure that you don't get too greedy and use it whenever you want to poke, but acually save it up for when you're sure that you'll get damage off.
  76. ###Combo with your ult
  77. You can apply the BB effect to your ults AA, making them much more dangerous. Make sure to do that!
  78. ###Passive
  79. This part is often forgotten. BB gives you passive physical power when not used, which is why it's good to max it.
  80. ##Your ult
  81. ###Don't use it too early
  82. While your ult cripples enemies, they can still get out. Try to wait for them to use their escape before you use your ult. Be patient and wait for the right opportunity. Also remember that it has quite the slow on it (35% at max rank), so you can use it to catch up to someone who's trying to run away.
  83. ###Don't forget about the CC immunity
  84. Don't forget that your ult gives you 1.5s of CC immunity. You can use this offensively (by attack someone like an Ymir who could normally just stopp you dead) as well as defensively (to evade getting pulled by an Ares ult).
  85. Don't be afraid to use your ult do escape. Watch out though; your CC immunity doesn't last for the full duration of your ult, so make sure that you use it wisely.
