  1. “AHHHH...” Rarity's head tilted back as the sneeze built. She had to keep it in. Poor Spike was hanging on to her face for dear life, and if she sneezed, he would probably break something. Unfortunately, her nose tickled angrily, and she couldn't seem to raise a hoof to rub it. Spike's claws weren't quite doing the trick. “AAAAHH!”
  2.
  3. “AAHHAAHH!” Rarity really, really had to sneeze. She finally managed to lift a hoof off of the ground, but she got it halfway to her face before the sneeze took over again. Her hoof stopped in midair, fanning idly. Her tongue curled in the side of her cheek. Her nose tickled so badly. She was going to sneeze! “AAAAHH...”
  4.
  5. “EHHH... HEHHH!” With all of her willpower, Rarity barely prevented herself from going over the edge. She had to keep her sneeze back, for Spike's sake. Oh, but Celestia, it was impossible. She had to at least warn Spike. “NYEEHHH... Spike... EHH! EHHEHH! IMGONNASNEHH! EHHH! YEHHEHH!”
  6.
  7. Rarity felt Spike's claws digging into her nose as he held on for dear life. Somehow, the pinching was effective, and her sneeze slipped away from her. Rarity moaned as the air left her lungs. “OHHHHHH... Oh my!”
  8.
  9. Just then, Twilight emerged from the basement. She used her magic to levitate the X-Ray machine up to Rarity's head. She was pressing buttons and pulling switches, and Rarity could hear the machine start up. “Now just hold still, Rarity.”
  10.
  11. “Twilight, I have to sneeze really badly,” Rarity said. She could feel the tickle growing within her nostrils, which were already flaring. “Soon.”
  12.
  13. “Just hold on a little longer, Rarity.” Twilight responded.
  14.
  15. “I don't know HAAH-how much longer I can MUHH-make it!” Rarity said. Her jaw fell slack and her tongue pressed into her cheek. It was taking a lot of effort to resist the urge to tilt her head back. “It's CAHH.. CAHHAAHH.. Coming!”
  16.
  17. “Rarity, I'm almost done. Can't you just keep it in for another few seconds?” Twilight asked.
  18.
  19. Rarity couldn't respond. “AHHH.. AHHAAHHH! EHHH... EHHHH! HEHHHEH!”
  20.
  21. “Done!” Twilight said, and pulled the X-Ray machine back down.
  22.
  23. Rarity didn't need to be told twice. She sneezed instantly, and massively. “HHHEEERRREEEEEEEEEESSSHHHHHOOOOOO! AHHH.. AHHHHAAHH! ACHHOOOOO! HIIIIAAATCCHH-HOOO-AAAHTCHHOOOOO! AHH... AAAHHHH...”
  24.
  25. “Rarity!” Twilight yelled up to her friend, who was growing rapidly. “I found the cause! You have a magical tumor! It's extremely rare and non-fatal, but you need to stop sneezing for a few minutes so that I can put you under to perform the surgery!”
  26.
  27. “JUUHHUU... HAAAH.. Just one MAHHAHH.. Just one more... HAAAAH...” Rarity hitched. It wasn't really a request, more of a statement. There was no way in Equestria that she was holding in this sneeze. “AAACHEEEWW! ACCHHEEEEWWW!”
  28.
  29. “AAAHH... KIIIIIAAAATTIISSHHHHOOOOOOOO!” Rarity exploded. As she sneezed, she bent forwards, and her hindquarters went backwards, causing a bookcase to topple over.
  30.
  31. “SAAH... Sorry...” Rarity said, but a dust cloud was rising off of the floor, and an ill-timed sniffle sucked about half of it into her giant nose. She sat down, causing the library to shake slightly. It was better if she was sitting, that way she would cause less damage. “AAAH... AHHAAHH... AAAH! AAAH! HAAAASSSCCHHOOOOO! HIIIYYIIISSHHHHOOOOO!”
  32.
  33. “AAAH... AHHAAH! HAAAHHTISSHHOOOOO! HAASSHOOOO! HAAAHHSHOOOOO!” Rarity sneezed and sneezed. She couldn't stop herself.
  34.
  35. “Rarity, you really need to stop...” Twilight said. She sounded like she was a mile away. Rarity looked up, and noticed that she was only a few feet from the ceiling. She looked down, and she could see that her body was taking up almost all of the space in the library. Twilight and Spike were huddled by the door.
  36.
  37. “AAAACHOOOO! HHAAAASHHOOOO!” Rarity sneezed. She felt her face squish against the ceiling. The library was getting awfully cramped. She tried to reach a hoof up to rub her nose, but there wasn't any space for her to move her front leg. She needed to stop sneezing, lest she destroy the library. But, the ceiling was really dusty. Rarity's nostrils flared against it, causing more dust to enter her nose.
  38.
  39. Rarity's tongue pressed against the inside of her cheek, as her jaw fell slack. The urge to sneeze coursed through her sensitive nose. Much to Rarity's dismay, her breath began to hitch. “AAAH... AHHAAHH.. AAAH! AAAHAAHAAH!”
  40.
  41. She knew she mustn't sneeze, but the tickle was too strong to resist. Her hitching breaths became more like moans as she desperately struggled against her body's urge to release. “EHH.. HEHEHHH... UHHH... EHH! EHHH!”
  42.
  43. “KKERRRTTIIIIIIIIIYYYIIIIIICHHHOOOOOOOO!!” The force of the explosion caused Rarity to grow several yards taller. Her head shot through the ceiling of the library, and into the upper branches of the tree it was made of. All four of her hooves escaped as well, leaving Rarity's body to fill the entire space. She could feel bookshelves pressing against her.
  44.
  45. Rarity sniffled, recovering from the massive sneeze. As the giant mare drew in breath, leaves were sucked into her nostrils. She instantly had to sneeze again, knowing full well that there was no way that she could hold it in. “AHH... AHHAHH...”
  46.
  47. Something was moving inside of her nostrils. Oh no! She had sucked in some poor, unsuspecting creature. Unfortunately, the movement caused her nose to tickle fiercely. It took all of Rarity's willpower to prevent herself from sneezing right then and there. “EHH... UHH! HEEHHEHH...”
  48.
  49. A very confused and irate bird flew out of Rarity's right nostril. Its wings brushed the roof of her nasal cavity, causing her tickle to spike. This was it for her, hopefully no more creatures were inside of her nose. “EEEEEEEYYYYAAAAAAASSSHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!”
  50.
  51. Rarity fell backwards as the library came apart around her. She opened her eyes to see the back of the library re-attaching itself. Good, at least Twilight was on top of things, and Rarity hadn't sneezed her into homelessness.
  52.
  53. “We need to get you out of town, Rarity.” Said a voice rather close to her ear. Rarity identified it as Twilight, and she looked around, trying to decide how to stand up without hitting anything. For the moment, she didn't need to sneeze, but she knew, as large and sensitive as her nostrils were, it wouldn't last long.
  54.
  55. Rarity followed Twilight, who was about the size of a mouse compared to her giant body. Accompanied by Spike, the two headed towards the Everfree Forest, where they would be safely out of town. A breeze picked up, and Rarity could smell the sweet scent of pollen in the air. Pollen normally didn't bother her, but her nose was oh so sensitive today, and she could feel a sneeze coming on. She quickened her pace a little, and Twilight had to gallop to keep up.
  56.
  57. Fighting the urge to tilt her head back, Rarity began to gallop as well. Ponies were getting out of her way in the street, so why not. She sprinted to a field outside of town, her massive hooves causing the ground to shake every time they fell. “AHHHH...”
  58.
  59. “AHHH! AAAHHHH...” Rarity hitched, her eyelashes fluttering shut as her head tilted back. One of her eyes stayed slightly open, and she caught a glimpse of the sun, causing the tickle to grow. Her mouth opened, revealing her tongue which was pushed into her cheek. Her nose tickled impossibly badly. It felt as if growing one hundred times bigger had given her nostrils one hundred times more nerve endings, and each one was crying out for her to sneeze. She exploded. “AAAHHHHCHHHOOOOOO! HAAAASSSHHHOOOOIIIEEE! AHHH... AHHAAHHH... AAAAATTTIIIIISSSSHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!”
  60.
  61. ---
  62.
  63. “AAAAHHHHIIIISSHHHHIIIOOOO!” Rarity sneezed. She was nearly twice the size of the largest creature Spike had ever seen: an adult red dragon which Twilight and her friends had defeated. Twilight ran up to Rarity with a massive syringe, and injected sedative into her leg.
  64.
  65. “Try not to sneeze!” Twilight shouted, at the top of her lungs.
  66.
  67. “AHH... AHHAAHHH... EHHH...” Rarity hitched, and then toppled over, luckily in the other direction. Twilight and Spike fell over as well, from the force of Rarity hitting the ground.
  68.
  69. “Be right back, Spike.” Twilight said, and teleported away, leaving him with the passed out Rarity. Spike didn't know what to think. He wished Twilight would tell him what was going on occasionally.
  70.
  71. Twilight blinked back into focus, carrying a saddlebag full of syringes. She began prodding Rarity with them, one by one. “I asked Fluttershy for all of the tranquilizer she had. Hopefully it will be enough.”
  72.
  73. “So what are we going to do?” Spike asked.
  74.
  75. “Well, I'm afraid that with her current size, it would take me a few hours just to make an incision. And we don't have a few hours. So it's time for plan B.” Twilight responded.
  76.
  77. “What's plan B?” Spike inquired, nervously.
  78.
  79. “You're going to go in, and make the cut. The tumor is located at the back of her right nostril. It's probably the reason that she reported extra sensitivity in her nose.” Twilight finished with all of the syringes, and handed Spike a massive kitchen knife. “Normally, I'd chose a more precise tool, but given her current size, you should be fine. Good luck!”
  80.
  81. Spike noticed that he was standing on the brim of Rarity's right nostril. It was absolutely massive. Spike could easily fit in, even if he were two times his current size. He noticed that he was also holding a magical torch. Holding it in front of him, he began the trek into Rarity's skull.
  82.
  83. Spike was slightly irritated at Twilight for pushing him into this. He didn't have any surgical training, and it was absolutely disgusting in here. Rarity's nose hairs were taller than he was, but at least they were spaced out enough so that he could dodge them. Mucous lined the floor, and it was unavoidable. Rarity had better pay him back for this one.
  84.
  85. After what felt like forever, Spike had finally reached the back of Rarity's nostril. The tumor was obvious, a massive red ellipse which took up the entire back wall. Spike climbed Rarity's nose hairs until he was hanging from the ceiling. He then tied himself in so that he could begin cutting.
  86.
  87. ---
  88.
  89. Cutting out the tumor was tiring work. It was hard to cut through Rarity's thick flesh, and it was made even harder by the fact that she would occasionally drip a giant drop of blood onto him. Even with a large kitchen knife, Spike could tell that the cuts he was making were the equivalent to paper cuts to Rarity. Luckily, Spike only had about one sixth of the distance left to go. Even better, it was all skin that he could reach from the ground.
  90.
  91. Just then, the floor of Rarity’s nostril began to quiver underneath him. Spike struggled to keep his footing as the ground shook and trembled.
  92.
  93. “Spike, get out of there!” Twilight yelled, although she was at the other end of Rarity’s nostril, so it wasn’t very loud. Spike covered the knife in cloth and began to run towards the exit as fast as his legs could carry him. However, he lost his balance and stumbled as Rarity lifted her massive head off of the ground. “Rarity, don’t move! Spike’s in your nose!”
  94.
  95. “Huhhh?” Rarity said, groggily. From inside of Rarity’s skull, her voice was tremendously loud. Spike covered his ears and got back to his feet. He began sprinting towards the entrance. If Rarity was awake, there was no telling how long he had before she sneezed.
  96.
  97. “Spike’s inside your nose, he went in to perform the surgery!” Twilight explained to Rarity. Rarity seemed to be making an effort not to move, but even the slightest motion was making it hard for him. And then, suddenly, Spike slipped on some mucous and went sliding forwards. He could feel Rarity’s nose hairs stinging his stomach as he slid over them.
  98.
  99. Spike struggled to his feet, and to his dismay, he could see the exit to the tunnel flaring, in and out. A breeze began to whisk by him, which quickly turned into a torrent of air. Rarity was sniffling. Spike grabbed onto one of Rarity’s hairs and hung on for dear life. Clods of dirt and grass flew into Rarity’s nose, brought in by the massive sniffle. This couldn’t be good.
  100.
  101. “SPIKE DEAR, YOU’RE RAAH… RAHHAAH.. RATHER TICKLY.” Rarity said in a booming voice. Spike once again got to his feet, and began running towards the flaring exit. He was tiring out quickly, though, because the floor began to slope upwards, steeper and steeper. Rarity was tilting her head back!
  102.
  103. “Rarity, no!” Twilight shouted.
  104.
  105. “I CAHHH.. CAHHAHH… CAN’T HEHHELP IITT! AHH.. AHHH!” Rarity hitched. Spike couldn’t advance any further up such a steep incline, so he began tying himself into Rarity’s nose hairs, bracing for the worse. “SPIKE… HAAAH… HOLD ON… I GAAHHH! AAAH.. AAAH! GOTTA!”
  106.
  107. “AHHH… HEHH.. EHHH! AAAAAAACHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!” Rarity sneezed. The hair holding Spike’s back leg snapped, and he flew forwards, hanging on only by his arms. The knife slipped from his grasp, although that was probably a good thing. Inside of Rarity’s nostril, the knife could only hurt him, and not her. Dirt and grass flew by him, irritating his eyes. Finally, the sneeze ended, and the ground flattened out. Spike untied himself, and began running the final distance towards the still flaring exit.
  108.
  109. “AHHHHH…” Rarity began, and the floor began to tilt again. Spike was so close. He sprinted as hard as he could. “AAAHHH…”
  110.
  111. Spike leaped out of Rarity’s nostril, and Twilight caught him with her magic. She lowered him slowly to the ground. Rarity must have noticed his escape, as she stood up, and tilted her head farther back.
  112.
  113. “AAAAHHH… AAHHAAAAHHH…” Rarity took massive breaths. Her hoof fanned in front of her face. Twilight put Spike on her back and ran away from the giant sneezy mare. “AAAAHAAAHAAAHH! EHHH! EHHEEEHH!!”
  114.
  115. The hitching breaths stopped. Spike turned around and saw Rarity, with her head tilted, her giant lips quivering and twisting. It was like the sneeze was happening in slow motion.
  116.
  117. “KKKKEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRTTTTIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE…” Rarity’s head snapped forwards. Twilight dived behind a rock. Spike turned away from Rarity. “CCCCHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!”
  118.
  119. Dirt flew by Spike and Twilight, blown outwards by the shockwave that Rarity’s sneeze caused. *THHHUUDD!* A second shockwave came by.
  120.
  121. Spike peeked his head up to see a giant fleshy tumor, sitting next to a normal-sized Rarity, whose nose was bleeding.
  122.
  123. “Oh my.” She said, and fainted.
