Turns out the old ghoul had a soft spot for Ditzy Doo, and wanted to express his gratitude for her rescue by giving the group access to their swanky armoury.

[13:09] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Now with some new gear at their disposal, the party resumes it's trek towards the small town of Scrapton, hoping there to find the means that will get them into Tenpony Tower, and satisfy Keen's quest to find the ghosts of his past.
07[13:09] * +SmartCookie waits for the others, hoping to move on quickly.
15[13:11] * +Karina is currently at the back of the group for once, following Keen and Primer and Storm and Lily and Cookie as they walk out of the Four Stars Station.
07[13:11] * +Keen is rather vexed by the fact that they didn't have anything available for him. Just as well, not like he wanted to spend the caps or anything. He munched on a floral energy bar and sipped on some radioactive water and kept on cantering. "We should probably hurry." He thought aloud, looking at the coming darkness that pervaded through the clouds.
[13:12] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 A roll of thunder can be heard in the distance
07[13:13] * +SmartCookie treads uneasily. Storms in the Wasteland tended to hit hard.
07[13:13] * +Keen looks around for the source of the sound. Normalcy! The sound of the weather factories at wor... He frowned. "What was that?"
15[13:13] * +Karina perks up and looks towards where the thunder came from. Rain? Yay!
07[13:13] * +Primer had some luck finding a Grenade Rifle that was gathering dust in a corner. Woo \o/ "Yeah, time to get going." Watch out bloodwings, I have explodey death at my hooves.
07[13:14] * +Fire_Lily frowns. Rain? She hated rain.
07[13:15] * +Desert_Storm floats alongside Cookie. In a low whisper, not to attract the attention of the others, she says "We need to talk, walk with me."
[13:15] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 A flash of lightning can be seen off in the distrance, and a roll of thunder follows in its wake. It's getting closer.
15[13:16] * +Karina picks up the pace a bit and starts passing the group ending out in front.
07[13:16] * +SmartCookie silently follows Storm.
07[13:16] * +Primer frowns. "Uhm, Keen... correct me if I'm wrong... but doesn't these lines run on electricity, or used to."
07[13:18] * +Keen blink blinks. "... We need to start moving. Now. Like now. Start running." A few sweat drops ran down his face. "We've got a wild storm incoming."
[13:18] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Anypony looking straight forward can see a sheet of rain fast approaching.

07[13:19] * +Primer starts to gallop behind Keen. "Hold on Lily."
07[13:19] * +Desert_Storm looks up. Well shit. Looks like negotiations will have to wait till later. "Good call." She takes off past Cookie, not before giving him a backwards glare from behind her glasses.
07[13:19] * +Fire_Lily is growing uneasy. "I like that idea... I don't like storms."
07[13:20] * +Keen starts to pick up the pace, hoping very desperately to avoid getting shocked to death.
[13:20] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 A slash of white lightning tears open the sky overhead as the wall of rain hits the party. A tremendous BOOM of thunder follows close behind it.
07[13:20] * +SmartCookie start following the others hot on their heels.
07[13:20] * +Primer "Everypony keep their eyes out for a station or something!"
07[13:20] * +Fire_Lily clings tight to Primer and ducks her head at the sudden loud crash of thunder
15[13:20] * +Karina slips a bit as she hits the wet area, but quickly recovers with a loud laugh and picks up the pace even faster.

07[13:21] * +Desert_Storm flies forward quickly, low to the ground. "Not liking this, not liking this one bit."
07[13:23] * +SmartCookie shout to the others: "We can take the next terminal half a mile ahead! Will Bring us on the Celestia line and from there on to Scrapton!"
[13:23] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The party will have to trust Cookie's words, as the thick sheets of rain and black stormclouds have reduced visibility to nearly zero.
07[13:23] * +Primer "Desert, don't you pegasi live inside storm clouds?"
15[13:24] * +Karina picks up the pace yet again. She's now running full tilt until she can see the station.
07[13:24] * +Desert_Storm nods. "Doesn't mean I have to like it."
07[13:25] * +Primer pushes herself to the limits. Come on you big dumb earth pony broad, show them what you are made of!
07[13:26] * +Keen unfurls his wings from his coat and begins to fly over the debris and rubble. He gave a nod of approval to Smart and then, gasping, addressed Primer. "Doesn't mean Cumulo clouds aren't the most comfortable." He snarked between gasps.
07[13:26] * +Fire_Lily is acutely aware that she can't actually help to go any faster, and the only thing she has to occupy herself is to worry
[13:26] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The terminal station looms up out of the storm on the groups left. There is a metal staircase leading down to the lower line on the right. The station building seems to be mostly intact.
07[13:26] * +Primer "Cumowhatchacallit?"
07[13:26] * +Desert_Storm points to the sky. "The fluffy ones."
[13:27] <+Desert_Storm> "Now get inside!"
07[13:27] * +SmartCookie follows the othes inside the station.
07[13:27] * +Keen "Whatever! Terminal to the left! Turn!" He sped into the terminal, looking around with his pistol drawn.
07[13:27] * +Primer makes a hard turn and her hooves spin on the slick surface before she gains momentum again.
07[13:28] * +Fire_Lily clings tight to avoid being thrown off
[13:28] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The lobby of the station has a few benches, most of which are mangled or melted in some way, but a lack of graffiti suggests this place hasn't seen a lot of traffic.
07[13:28] * +Desert_Storm darts in after Keen, rifle drawn, scanning the inside of the termnial.
07[13:29] * +Primer stands panting just inside the door with her silences ten-mill in her mouth.
07[13:29] * +SmartCookie comes to a stop and looks around.
[13:29] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Not a moment after the group makes it inside, a bolt of lightning strikes a building on the opposite side of the tracks.
[13:29] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Inside the station there is a reception counter, some lockers and a few age-worn posters.
15[13:29] * +Karina goes to stop, but ends up losing her grip and sliding to a stop on her side. She scrambles back to her hooves and head for the building.

15[13:31] * +Karina drops her hood when she steps inside the building and shakes her head to get all the water off.
[13:31] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 A loud rattle of thunder directly overhead seems to make the station shake.
07[13:31] * +Primer winces but is otherwise unaffected by the thunder and lightning.
07[13:31] * +SmartCookie is soaked but keeps his stuff on, you never know...
07[13:32] * +Keen is well and used to lightning. Not any less scared of it, but more respectful than panicky. "Take a breather and do a sweep!" He gasped out, eyes wild with fear.
15[13:33] * +Karina laughs at everything that just happened, then takes a few deep breathes and glances at the old posters.
07[13:33] * +SmartCookie checks his EFS and sees... Nothing. No hostiles at least.
07[13:33] * +SmartCookie starts poking around the place, looking into trashcans and stuff.
07[13:34] * +Fire_Lily is clinging very tight to Primer's back. VERY tight.
07[13:34] * +Primer wanders over to a bench and lets Lily slide off before sitting on it herself.
07[13:34] * +Primer blinks at lilys tight grip.
[13:34] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The floor is covered in a thin layer of ash; probably whatever was left of the patrons who were at this station when the megaspell went off
07[13:35] * +Desert_Storm shakes the water out of her mane and pokes around the station, making sure not to actually touch the floor.
07[13:35] * +SmartCookie finds two packs of cigarettes, which he imediatly packs away.
07[13:35] * +Keen also starts to cautiously take a look around. There, there Keen. We're safe. For now. And then he trods upon somepony's pile of ashes and whimpers a bit. "Fuck this wasteland." He mumbled to himself, floating himself up instead. Counter. Terminal. Let's see what it says.
07[13:35] * +Primer "You okay Lily?" She tuns her head to bump Fire_Lily gently with her muzzle.
07[13:37] * +Fire_Lily is curled up, trying her best to steady herself. "Y...yeah. I just... don't like storms..."

15[13:37] * +Karina looks out the winows at the storm, then walks over to Primer and Lily.

It's mostly all very boring ticket sales account... Except for one. Dated last, and he wouldn't have found it if he didn't get admin privileges.

07[13:42] * +Fire_Lily is finally calming down. "Okay... feeling better now."
07[13:42] * +Primer chuckles, and now takes her time to examine her new Grenade Rifle in detail. The thing was a dream come true. 40mm grenades as ammo and nice wood furniture, much better than that komposite shit used on most rifles.
07[13:43] * +Keen rolls his eyes. Great. "There's a file here. It's dual encrypted, why the hell is it..." He pauses. "Hey, does anypony recognize this?" He says, pointing at the date way after his time. The day the apocalypse happened.
07[13:44] * +Primer looks up. "Say what?" She didn't know thing one about that computer stuff.
07[13:45] * +SmartCookie doesn't bother to walk over and simply smokes his cigarette.
15[13:45] * +Karina shrugs then walks over to look at what Keen is pointing at.
07[13:46] * +Desert_Storm pokes her head in the booth. Hmmmmmm. "Nope. Nothing." She spies Cookie. Alright, now we talk.
15[13:46] * +Karina shrugs again.
[13:47] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The storm continues to rage outside. It might be a while before it dies down.
07[13:47] * +SmartCookie looks over to Desert_Storm and takes another drag. Here comes the Heat everybody1

07[13:47] * +Keen frowns. "Cookie, I need you to download this. If it's encrypted this bad, I'm guessing it's for a reason."
07[13:48] * +Keen sighs and slumps down on the counter. "... Even though the other part could be anywhere hooked up to the Four Star Spellframe.
07[13:48] * +SmartCookie looks over to keen and then starts trotting over. To the terminal and downloading the file.
07[13:48] * +Desert_Storm rolls her eyes. More distractions. When was she gonna get him alone? She says through clenched teeth. "Fine."
07[13:49] * +Fire_Lily takes the opportunity now that shes composed herself to look around and take in her surroundings
07[13:49] * +Keen spots Desert's tense mood and frowns. "Relax. After this, I figure we have until the morning to get to know each other."
15[13:50] * +Karina gets out of the way and walks back over to Primer and Lily.
07[13:50] * +SmartCookie finishes downloading the file after a while and then trots away from the counter and the terminal, keeping an eye on Desert_Storm.
04[13:50] * +Primer starts to examine every one of the fifteen 40mm genades she bought. "Sup Kar, anythign on your mind?"
07[13:51] * +Desert_Storm crosses her hooves. "Whatever." She had... something to... clean anyway. She plops down in a corner, her repair tools strewn about in front of her.
07[13:51] * +SmartCookie flicks his cigarette butt away and closely watches the pegasus. ...Ungratefull...
15[13:52] * +Karina sits down and sighs. "No. Just wet. I love the rain, but sitting in here soaked is going to be a pain."

07[14:01] * +Primer experimentally loads the thumper with a grenade and klicks it shut. Perfect. She stands and trotts over to the window and tests the sight. Hmm, angles and trajectories... bah, she doesn't need that fancy talk. The fucker will go where it should.
07[14:02] * +Desert_Storm puts down her rifle and trots over to Keen's towel. She sheds her barding and thoroughly dries her mane and wings. Feeling better, she hangs her barding on a peg and returns to her work. "Thanks."

07[14:04] * +Fire_Lily gives another odd look. "It's... kinda weird. It's not something ponies normally do when they talk..."

You know what the best part of these things are?" He said, wringing out the soft fabric and flapping it out in the open air a bit. "They get dry fast and are very, very absorbent. You probably need only one for a lifetime." He frowns...

07[14:05] * +Primer stuffs the Grenade Rifle away in her pack. She couldn't wait to use it on something.

07[14:09] * +Primer wanders over to the towel and sniffs it... smells okay, not rank at all. She dries her face and mane briefly then wrings it out, after that she walks over to where Fire_Lily is sitting and lies down beside the filly.
07[14:12] * +Fire_Lily has a guilty look, and remains silent, not even sure what to say now.
15[14:14] * +Karina blinks. "You -do- know what I am..." she says as a hint of a question.

If anypony that looked like a threat tried to enter through, they would get a nice bit of magic energy in their face.

07[15:43] * +Primer rolls her eyes. "Oh, Here we go." She pokes her head out again and tracks the lone figure with her grenade rifle.
07[15:43] * +Keen slowly rises up. "Hold. Who are you?" He said, a magi-beam pistol ready and primed to let loose hell. Zebra.
07[15:43] * +SmartCookie turns his EFS on and watches the dots on it. There were three hostiles about though. "That guy doesn't seem to be hostile, but there are three foes about. Can't see em though.", he silently says to Storm and Keen.
04[15:44] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The cloaked figure turns his gaze upon Karina, catching her unconcealed glyph. He raises a hoof in her direction; "Yeye ni mmoja nimekuja hapa kwa ajili ya."

[15:46] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The cloaked figure pulls back his hood, revealing the head of a zebra. However, he has some rather nasty looking scars on his face, and some odd piercings.

15[15:48] * +Karina looks at Desert_Storm and deadpans, "It's a zebra."

07[15:49] * +Keen is sitting with his pistol out and on the counter, ready to fire at a moment's notice. He wasn't liking this. The moment something funny happens, he'll do exactly what he doesn't want to.
04[15:50] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The scarred Zebra Stallion looks at Karina, purposefully avoiding eye contact with the others. "You will come with me. We know what you are."

07[15:51] * +Primer takes the grenade rifles grip in her mouth and pushes the safety off with her lip. All he had to do was fart wrong, and she'd make him black and white scenery.

[15:51] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The zebra doesn't even look at Keen. "This does not concern you. Stay out of the way."
07[15:52] * +Keen glares at the zebra. "You want my friend to do something I may or may not approve of. That concerns me."
15[15:52] * +Karina looks back at the zebra, her nervousness gone and replaced with a mix of... well concern. "How do you know what I am?"

07[15:53] * +Fire_Lily is starting to stir from all the yelling, still too close to sleep to understand what's being said, but awake enough to know someone was talking... in loud, angry voices. She opens her eyes and looks around, exhausted.

07[16:49] * +Fire_Lily is DEFINITELY awake after the sounds of gunfire. She stands, a little shaky, looking around for the attackers. When she notices the zebras attacking Keen, she lashes out with her magic at the one not being assaulted, out of panic. "Don't hurt him... don't hurt him!"
[16:52] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The unharmed, barehoofed zebra turns in time to catch Lily's spell right in the face. She lets out a shriek of terror and stumbles backwards, tripping over herself as she tried to flee.

07[17:27] * +Keen retrieves another roll of bandages and patches himself up before moving onto the last Zebra. "Sir, you're very, very lucky she's in a merciful mood." He said, patching him up. Would he have executed him? No. Did he think that would help interrogations? Maybe.

07[18:09] * +Desert_Storm rolls her eyes. Of course she has no idea. "We staying here again? Because... after that, I don't feel all that safe here."
04[18:10] * +Keen catches up to Karina after wiping the ashes of dead ponies from his cheek. "Really? They had a funny way of saying it." He said, feeling a pang of pain from his bruised rib. "Oh, come on. Haven't you gone on yet, you fucking storm?" He whimpered, feeling the rain wash his blood away. The ashes, too.
07[18:10] * +Desert_Storm shrugs. Trekking through the rain it was.
04[18:10] * +Primer tosses her new aquisiton at Karina's hooves, it sticks into the floor two feet ahead of her. "Does it have anything to do with this?"

07[18:13] * +Desert_Storm grabs one of the cloaks off the dead zebras and wraps it around her rifle. Last thing she wanted was to get water anywhere. She trots up beside Keen. "Other Zebras what?"

15[18:15] * +Karina picks the knife out of the floor and starts examining it.

15[18:19] * +Karina looks at the blue hint on the knife and her mind's wheels start turning. "I tried to figure out more, and I would've if all your shooting had been delayed." She pauses as she looks closer. "Everyone... never ever touch this blade."

07[18:21] * +Desert_Storm trots out into the rain. Uuuuggggggggghhhhh this sucks. "Stare at the knife later. Walk now. Let's get this over with."

15[18:23] * +Karina stands up. "There is something very, very wrong... This knife... it's... well it's strong. They didn't want us dead, because if they did it wouldn't have taken so long." She looks around at the leaving ponies and snorts. She puts the knife in an empty pocket and moves to follow.

15[18:32] * +Karina coughs. "S-sorry. Thanks." She takes the sheath then follows Primer and the party out into the rain.
07[18:32] * +Fire_Lily gladly climbs her way onto Primer's back. It wasn't like she couldn't walk well... She was just tired. Yeah, that's it.
07[18:33] * +Primer continues after the others. Yeah yeah, we were on our way. No need to yell.
15[18:33] * +Karina talks as she walks. "I have no idea how this will wind up, but it's too important to just leave behind."
[18:34] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The party proceeds down from the Four Stars Station with a bunch of fresh mysteries presenting themselves. The worst of the storm has moved past, but it is still pouring as the party follows underneath the Celestia Line towards Scrapton. Mercifully, the weather seems to be keeping the bloodwings dormant.
[18:36] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Dawn breaks as the party reaches the small village of Scrapton at the edge of the Manehattan Ruins. Further out lies the suburb of Fetlock, and beyond it the bleak emptiness of the Equestrian Wasteland.

[18:41] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The other guard kicks his battle saddle as a precaution, but doesn't step forward.

We're scavengers and we were just wanting to find a bed to sleep on for a while and a place to restock." He takes note of the Battle Saddle. Easy Keen. You've talked your way out of worse.

07[18:52] * +Keen is suddenly very grateful for inns. Thank you inns. Thank you and your cozy comfortable wasteland flea-infested comforts. He heads in, popping the collar to his coat. "Hey." He says to the brahmin.

07[18:53] * +Primer pushes aside the bat wing doors and enters the lovely non-rainy gloom. She senses that Lily is stirring on her back.

15[18:56] * +Karina sneakily walks up to look at what's in the cart, specifically to see if there might maybe be some 10mm SMG mods like a recoil buffer in there maybe.

07[19:04] * +Keen sits down with a pleasured grunt. Oh, thank you wasteland, thank you for giving me a place to sit. He gingerly plucks his towel from his gear and dries off his mane and face.
[19:06] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The muddy, wet pony at the counter looks away from the receptionist; "Sorry, I'll be out of your way in just one... wait a minute." He lowers his glasses at observes Storm, then looks around to the rest of the group.
