I've worked out the kinks, and the Life is Feudal server is UP and RUNNING.

Membership is open to any and all members of GOTR.

I've taken some careful thought about the direction this server should take.  It's important to understand that LiF is, by and large, a long-form PvP game.  At the moment, there are no hostile entities aside from certain hostile animals, so a PvE element is essentially non-existent.  Therefore, the GOTR server will be, at it's core, an anarchy setup.  I, as the admin, will take no actions to ensure fairness of play, balance of factions, distribution of resources, or anything else.  The players are expected to do these things on their own by hiding or securing their valuables, banding together for protection, raiding wealthy settlements, or even waging wars within the confines of the game environment.  Admin powers will only be invoked to help deal with bugs, stuck players (as long as you didn't get yourself into that mess.  Foresight, yo) and problems with the game as a piece of computer software.  Your in-world challenges will not be addressed.

Just to drive the point home that this is a PvP setup, here are some things I don't care about:
You invited someone to join your town to bolster your numbers, yet they betrayed you and stole everything.
A band of brigands burned your settlement to the ground.
A player robbed your shop while you were online. (If you were offline at the time, that is a different matter)
A large player faction is rampaging around the server, destroying all who stand in their way.

Instead of trying to get an admin to restore your stuff, do what they do in the real world a form a posse to go kick his ass and get your stuff back!  If your settlement was burned down, start a new one or join someone else's.   If a player faction is conquering the world, form a rebellion and strike back!  These negative happenings are not reasons to ragequit, they're opportunities for emergent roleplay.

CHEATING AND HACKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.  I would also request that you not steal from people or destroy their stuff when they are not online to defend it.  That's just rude.

These rules are subject to change pending a real-world evaluation of their effectiveness and how the game develops.

Now that I've said what I needed to say, the name of the server is GOTRHolm and the password is ghost.  You should have no problems joining via the ingame server browser.  Yes it does work, I promise.  Server names are loaded sequentially, so if it doesn't show up right away, just give it time.  This server will run 24/7, baring any technical issues.
