[18:54] * Missile_Rush makes his way down from Doc's room to the lobby of Stable 69. He begins thinking over that conversation in his head. What to say to Caprice? Huh...this ought to be interesting.

[18:57] * Jake_Juice wakes up, still laying next to The Batmare.
[18:57] <TenMihara|GM>  We join our group of wastelanders at around bedtime. For most of them anyways. Half of Flank tends to stay up way past this time though.
[18:57] <TenMihara|GM>  Except that now it's morning. Missile wasn't able to get an audience with Caprice because she was off fooling around, so he slept on one of the bean bags in the lounge until morning.

[19:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush awakes in the Mixers lounge, the night having gone and the crowds with it.
[19:00] * No_One is now known as The_Batmare
[19:00] * Missile_Rush gets to his hooves and looks about, stretching his wings and legs as he does. He looks about. Now, where was Caprice?
[19:01] * Purple_Kay lays curled on a slightly too small gurney. He's been up a short while, just resting in the dark. The pitch blackness of night gives way to the dismal grey of daylight under the everpresent blanket of clouds. He's... anxious? He and the Kid are free of debt. After they meet the others and split their gains there isn't any reason for her to stay.
[19:03] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush can see down through to the now empty dance floor. A stallion who Jake would recognize as also being the cook, is cleaning up the floor of confetti, foam and other... things. There is a mare that isn't Caprice behind the counter, changing over a till.
[19:04] * The_Batmare is awake suddenly! It was a new day and there were citizens to protect.
[19:05] * Razor is starting to stir. After what happened last night, she kinda deserved a nice, long night's sleep. Her tail twitches and she stretches her legs as she lifts her head and looks around.
[19:06] * Missile_Rush looks about...damn. She wasn't here? His brow furrows as he trots up to the mare behind the counter with a nod. "Hello. I'm looking for Caprice."
[19:06] * Purple_Kay watches her stir. When she turns toward him he starts rolling off the gurney. "Mornin' Kid."
[19:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare looks up, slight bags under her eyes, and gives a yawn. "Caprice won't be up for another hour or so. She needs her beauty sleep, and nopony says no to Caprice. You can go get some breakfast in the meantime or something."
[19:08] * Missile_Rush nods. "I see." He looks about, his eyes narrowing at the...mess. He turns to the mare. "I'll return later. If Caprice comes back, tell her that I want to talk to her." Without another word, he trots back out Mixers into the streets.
[19:09] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare has no idea who Missile_Rush is
[19:10] * Missile_Rush doesn't really care at the moment. Even if the mare had no idea who he was, Caprice should. He decides to trot over to the Trough for now.
[19:10] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare can hear faint sounds of what might be a struggle a couple of alleys over.
[19:10] * Purple_Kay start the slightly laborous process of donning his battle saddle.
[19:11] * Purple_Kay only leaks a little.
[19:11] * The_Batmare is intrigued. She hops a few rooftops to see the cause of the commotion
[19:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Looking down into the alley, The_Batmare accidentally spies a pair of stallions. One of them is rutting the other.
[19:14] * Razor 's eyes settle on Purple_Kay. She feels a little weird about having to rely on him so much last night. "I uh..." She pauses. "I don't know what was wrong with me last night." She's pretty bad at this talking thing.
[19:15] * Jake_Juice blinks, looking after The_Batmare "Uh... where yah goin' hun'?"
[19:15] * Missile_Rush reaches the Trough and heads inside.
[19:15] * The_Batmare stares for a second. Then sighs and calls out, "Get a room citizens! It is more sanitary!" For a given definition of sanitary in a wasteland room. Then she vanishes back onto the rooftop
[19:16] * Jake_Juice blinks at The_Batmare "What was that all bout'?"
[19:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush seems to be lucky this morning, as he has arrived before the breakfast rush.
[19:17] * The_Batmare waves a hoof, "Nothing of importance, just a general lack of decency."
[19:18] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Ah. There's a lot of that round' here."
[19:18] * Purple_Kay , satisfied his weapon is secured and the saddlebag of sellables is in place, walks over. "Don't worry about it, Kid. Doc said it was withdrawl. That stuff can bite ya back." He looks her over, she does look in better shape than yesterday. He indicates the door with a toss of his head. "Come on, I want to check a pump for water then we need to meet up with the others and split the spoils."
[19:19] * The_Batmare "Noticably, apparently few are aware of the healrisks a dirty back alley possesses."
[19:20] * Missile_Rush trots up to the counter. He looks up to the pony behind the counter. "Two helpings of Radhog bacon." He places 20 caps on the counter.
[19:21] <TenMihara|GM>  The stallion behind the counter nods and slips the caps into his till, then a minute later, presents Missile_Rush with his bacon
[19:22] * Missile_Rush nods and silently takes the bacon outside, secluding one inside his saddlebags, and taking the other to a seat outside where he consumes it quietly.
[19:22] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Heh, yeah... it's funny how many ponies round' here don't even have standards anymore. Anyways," he gets up and fixes his bed mane, then looks back at The_Batmare "Yah hungry love'?"
[19:22] * Purple_Kay keeps an ear turned behind him as he trots for the door, he hopes to hear Razor's hooffalls behind him as he makes his way out. He stops just outside the doorway and fishes out the half-smoked cigarettr from last night.
[19:23] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver is snoring loudly in the back room
[19:23] * Razor nods and hops down off her perch, and follows Purple_Kay out. "I haven't had much for caps in a long time... Hope it's a bunch." She grins.
[19:23] * The_Batmare blinks and looks over. Love? Really? Perhaps it was a colliqualism. "Yes, I could eat, but at the moment I have sufficent food on me."
[19:23] * Missile_Rush , after having finished his bacon, sits quietly for a moment. As he waits for his hour to pass, he pulls a wooden flute out from his saddlebags. He closes his eyes and turns it over in his hooves for several moments, before he puts it up to his lips and begins to play a sweet, melancholy tune. The scowl on his face has subsided to a calm expression.
[19:25] * Purple_Kay "Won't be rich, but between it and the shares Rush passed out last night, it was at least worth the hassle." The unlit cigarette bounced jovially as he speaks.
[19:26] <TenMihara|GM>  As Missile_Rush plays, the occasionally passerby stops to listen. A few caps are even thrown at his hooves.
[19:26] * Missile_Rush doesn't notice the caps, too caught up in his playing.
[19:27] * Jake_Juice nods and shrugs "Well alright then, if you're sure. Jus' sayin, if yah like I could cook yah something."
[19:29] * The_Batmare noms come mac and cheese from the box. Seems legit. "No thank you, you need not take the time for me. Though I appreciate the offer."
[19:29] * Razor is pretty excited about the prospect of having something to spend. "Anything's better than nothing! And I was all out."
[19:31] * Jake_Juice smiles and takes out his last box of cram and eats it. Omnom "No problem hun'."
[19:31] * Purple_Kay seizes the opportunity. "I hear Rush has a job lined up. Payin' gig. We're out of debt, but no reason not to earn some more."
[19:32] * Missile_Rush continues to play his tune. For the moment, he seems lost in his own thoughts and music, for once looking calm and not angry.
[19:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Those who are on or above the main street can both see Missile_Rush, and hear his flute song
[19:33] * The_Batmare enjoys the music drowning out the sounds of sex
[19:34] * Purple_Kay rounds the corner to his favorite water pump. He fiddles with it a bit. Heck, with his meager assortment of tools he might be able to squeeze a bit more water out of it today.
[19:34] * Jake_Juice looks over at Missile_Rush and hmms "Didn't take him for the type to play somethin' like that. Huh."
[19:35] * The_Batmare "I don't see why not?"
[19:35] * Missile_Rush is oblivious, still playing. Blame it either on his own introversion or his low PER, if you will.
[19:37] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay isn't quite able to fix that old pipe just yet, but he can still get 2 portions of dirty water out of it.
[19:37] * Razor has to think about that a moment. Out of debt, huh? She wasn't really paying attention last night to realize. But the idea of more caps to spend is very alluring. "...Yeah. Sounds good to me!"
[19:37] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay and Razor can both hear Missile-s song as well.
[19:38] * Jake_Juice shakes his head "Eh... nevermind. So, when did you wanna round everyone up so we can sell all that junk?"
[19:38] * Razor isn't really all that interested in music. Besides, she has more to be worrying about. Like thinking about what she's gonna spend her fortune on!
[19:39] * The_Batmare nods, "Yes, this would be a good idea." She climbs down the fire escape to ground level
[19:39] * Jake_Juice follows after The_Batmare to go look for everyone else. "Right then."
[19:41] * Purple_Kay considers bashing the damn pipe with his new wrench, but the pump has been pretty good to him considering. With a sigh he turns toward the source of the music. We were supposed to meet up around there. He starts to trotting that way. "Good to hear. From the little I know, we'll be heading out of Flank. So make sure you pick up some food and drink too."
[19:41] * The_Batmare goes to where the music is coming from, thus where Missile is. "Hello Citizen."
[19:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor and Purple_Kay join up with Missile_Rush, and the three are plainly visible to The_Batmare and Jake_Juice
[19:44] * Purple_Kay "Mornin' Rush." He grins. "Enjoyable tune. I've always been a sucker for the sad ones."
[19:45] * The_Batmare walks over to where the group is metting, "Citizens." She nods her head then sees Razor. "And Razor."
[19:46] * Razor gives an indignant snort. "Freakshow."
[19:46] * Missile_Rush finally stops playing as he hears the ponies gathering. He opens his eyes, as he looks around him. There's a new look in his face. Sorrow? Compassion? Whatever it is, his face seems a little softer today. But only a little.
[19:47] * Missile_Rush silently places the flute back in his bags and stands up, facing the group. "I take it that you all rested well?"
[19:48] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush finally notices the caps at his hooves
[19:48] * Missile_Rush glances at the caps, and quickly picks them up to place them in his saddlebags.
[19:49] * Purple_Kay "Well enough." He crosses over to Jake and hoofs over his sack of sellables, lighter some of the more potentially useful scrap. "Remember, don't sell the bag."
[19:51] * Missile_Rush glances at the bag. "What's in the bag?" His scowl is slowly returning.
[19:52] * Purple_Kay looks back over to Rush. "What I pulled out of the factory. Even splits for everypony."
[19:52] * Missile_Rush 's brow furrows. "I thought I told you to count my share out of it."
[19:53] * The_Batmare "And then we all agreed that was stupid because you need to eat too."
[19:55] * Purple_Kay "'I' didn't talk to ya at all. Jake's doin' the sellin, figured we split it fair and even. No more skin off my nose if ya don't want a share." He leaves out the even split being at the Batmare's insistence considering present company.
[19:56] * Jake_Juice rolls his eyes as The_Batmare and Razor greet each other, then nods in agreement with her. "Food's good for yah son. Yah need to eat."
[19:57] * Missile_Rush turns to The_Batmare and Jake_Juice, nodding. "I'm grateful for your kindness. But this was never my job to begin with, I cannot accept it." He glances at Mixers, then turns back to the group. "I have something to take care of. Perhaps we'll see each other later." He trots off towards Mixers.
[19:59] * Jake_Juice sighs and facehoofs. "Anyways... just give me everything were gona sell and I'll get it done."
[19:59] * Purple_Kay calls out. "If you need a hoof on that job you mentioned, find me. We appreciated your help, and would be happy to return the favor."
[19:59] * The_Batmare stares blankly at Missile_Rush, "Are you an idiot? I told you yesterday that was not the payment for the job, so you aren't taking our caps, and that since you helped you are entitled to the caps so takr your money so you don't die poor and homeless."
[20:00] * Missile_Rush is, unfortunately, out of earshot at this point. He trots fast.
[20:00] * The_Batmare is obviously following him
[20:02] * Purple_Kay "She doesn't give up." He says to no one in particular. He turns to Jake. "Well, daylight's burning. Let's get that stuff sold and the profits split." He motions toward the general store.
[20:03] * Jake_Juice sighs and heads for the general store "Alright, let's get this over with."
[20:03] * Missile_Rush stops to turn back to The_Batmare, expression as cold as ever. "Why do you insist on caring? What have I done to earn that amount of consideration?"
[20:03] * Razor wholeheartedly agrees. "If he doesn't want it, I'll gladly take his share!"
[20:04] * The_Batmare "You participiated, and thus you deserve some of the caps. You are not some sort of god, you too require food and drink and bullets to survive, all of which cost caps, so accept what we are giving you and you deserve so you don't die."
[20:04] <TenMihara|GM>  The General Store is on the opposite of the Inn. It's run by an elderly buck who is presently sleeping in a chair in the front roof, a varmint rifle within reach.
[20:04] * Purple_Kay smiles. "I'm all for splitting it less ways, but for now we can put his seperate and let the two of them throw it back and forth until one of them gives in."
[20:06] * Jake_Juice nods "Right..." he trots into the general store and goes over to the old buck "Scuse' me sir, we've got a few things to sell yah if that's alright."
[20:07] * Missile_Rush seems to consider thiss for a moment, as he turns his head to the side. He speaks softly. "I don't have time for this." He trots back around. "We can discuss this later. In the meantime, there is something important that I must take care of." He pauses. "If you are so inclined, then go ahead and consider my share for now. I have other things to consider right now." With that he trots off towards Mixers.
[20:07] * The_Batmare "This is not being discussed, you are getting your share." She walks back to the group. "We must keep an eye on him. Someone with such a disiability could get into much trouble."
[20:08] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare and laughs.
[20:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The buck isn't woken by the sound of the bell over the door, but Jake's voice does the trick. He adjusts an old pair of glasses and looks at Jake_Juice; "Sellin? Alright." He makes his way behind the counter and motions for Jake_Juice to present his wares
[20:08] * The_Batmare "I am not telling a joke."
[20:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush reenters Mixers to find Caprice has awoken. She's sitting at one of the tables eating some oatmeal with another mare, presumably her companion of the night before, and drinking some coffee that smells of old boot
[20:13] * Missile_Rush resists the urge to wrinkle his nose at the smell of the coffee as he trots to Caprice. "Hello. We seem to be seeing much of each other."
[20:13] * Jake_Juice shakes his head chuckling and nods "I know, I know." he trots over to the counter and presents everything they have to sell. "Alright sir, we've got lots of gizmos and doodads from a nearby facility that hasn't been set hoof in in over two hundred years. Everything here is in good condition... well, as far as good condition from destroyed robots is, but, those robots were
[20:13] * Jake_Juice still working, so everything here should be reliable. What'll yah take for all this?"
[20:13] <TenMihara|GM>  The buck looks all the parts over and makes an initial offer of 241 caps.
[20:15] <TenMihara|GM>  After Jake's haggling attempt, the store owner increases his offer to 275
[20:15] * Jake_Juice hmms a bit... "Alright, sounds good. You got yourself a deal."
[20:16] <TenMihara|GM>  The buck hoofs Jake_Juice the caps and sets the goods aside for sorting later. "Choo need anytin' while yer here?"
[20:17] * Purple_Kay has been looking around, heading out into the Wastes again he needs to grab some basic supplies. He's keeping his eyes open for a blanket and/or tarp.
[20:18] * Razor is looking around. It feels a little weird to actually be shopping. Usually she just ends up taking what she needs from those more fortunate, and less fit.
[20:18] * Jake_Juice shakes his head "Nah, I think everyones good." he turns and looks at everyone else "Unless there's something else someone needs...?"
[20:18] <TenMihara|GM>  There are a few old blankets in the general store, seemingly mold and hole free, though most have been patched up at least once.
[20:19] * Purple_Kay picks up sturdier looking, somewhat drab blanket. "How much?"
[20:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice holds out a hoof, then downs the rest of her coffee before speaking. "So it seems. I knew I had charms, but you're one of the few to come back so many times in such a short period."
[20:20] <TenMihara|GM>  "10 Caps," notes the store's owner
[20:21] * Missile_Rush nods, unperturbed. "I've been thinking about that job you gave me. I think it's worth mentioning that seeing a pony care so much for another is a rare thing in the wasteland. That's something I truly respect."
[20:21] * Purple_Kay glances to Jake, arching a brow. A simple cue for the resident fast talker to do his thing.
[20:21] * Jake_Juice looks back at the old buck "Actually, while I'm here, yah got any medical supplies?"
[20:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice smirks; "Copper was one of my favourites, and her little sister is just darling. I'd hate for her to lose her big sister; lost their parents to raiders some years back."
[20:25] <TenMihara|GM>  The old stallion fishes around and manages to come up with two healing potions, both of which look a little faded, three rolls of bandagers, and a syringe of Med-X.
[20:26] * Jake_Juice blinks and stares at the healing potions, raising an eyebrow "What's wrong with those?" he says, pointing a hoof at them. "They don' look right."
[20:26] * Ignis ([email protected]) has left #FalloutEquestriaPNP3 (">.x")
[20:27] * Missile_Rush nods again. "Precisely. That sort of compassion something I can appreciate." He pauses. "And you are also a pony of economics. The fact that you can keep such an establishment running is proof of that. So let me tell you about something, something that your combined compassion and economic sense can easily understand."
[20:28] * Razor grabs some food and dirty water, bringing them to the counter. "How much?" She's hoping it's not too expensive.
[20:28] <TenMihara|GM>  The old stallion squints at the potions; "Hmm... looks like dey went tru some enervation."
[20:29] * Jake_Juice blinks and tilts his head "Ener-what now?"
[20:29] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice smirks; "Flattery only gets you so far this early in the morning. If you've got a point, you can skip to it."
[20:29] <TenMihara|GM>  The buck looks genuinely surprised; "Yoo live in da Hoof, an' you dunno 'nervation?"
[20:30] * Jake_Juice rubs the back of his head with a hoof "Uh... I just got here a few days ago I'm afraid..."
[20:30] * Razor gives Jake_Juice an odd look. She agrees with the buck's incredulousness.
[20:30] * Missile_Rush smirks back. "Fair enough. My point is the pegasus mare you fired only a few days ago."
[20:30] <Missile_Rush> *hired
[20:31] * Purple_Kay brings the blanket up to the counter and stand by Razor. He whispers, "Let's give Buddy Boy  a chance to prove his bartering chops. No need to pay full price if he's as good as he says."
[20:32] * Razor shrugs and just leaves her chosen items on the counter. She eyes them a little hungrily as she waits.
[20:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice looks intrigued now; "She a friend of yours?"
[20:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The stallion shakes his head; " 'nervations' 'bout da worst ting in da Hoof. Eet'll fuck up yer head, make yer wounds bigger'n diminishes magic."
[20:34] * Purple_Kay adds some more prewar food to the pile. Delicious noodles.
[20:36] * Missile_Rush ([email protected]) Quit ( Ping timeout: 121 seconds )
[20:38] * Jake_Juice nods slowly "Ah... good to know... well... I'll take both of those healing potions and the med-x. I'm going to assume, since they've been effected by enervation, that I'll get them for cheaper?" he looks at everything else on the counter. "And... giving us a discount would be beneficial to you... seeing as how my group is going probably going to come back here often, you

[20:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The stallion nods; "Da healin pots I'll give ya 20% off, but da drug ain't magic, so it shud be fine."
[20:39] * Missile_Rush nods. "You could say that. Us pegasi share a certain camaraderie amongst ourselves, and she is no exception. Even more so when I heard her story. Which, I will add, is strikingly similar to Copper's own."
[20:40] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice raises an eyebrow; "Is it now? She didn't tell me much. Then again, she had her mouth full most of the time." She gives a coy smirk and the other mare at the table flushes hotly
[20:40] * Jake_Juice nods "Of course. So, how much for everything?" he says, motioning to all of the items laid out on the counter.
[20:41] <TenMihara|GM>  The stallion thinks for a moment; "Normally Ah'd wait t'see iffin ya came back at all, but yer lot look a might tuffer'n the usual sorts. Ah'll give ya 10% off, take it or leave it."
[20:43] * Jake_Juice smiles and holds out his hoof to shake the other bucks "That's mighty kind of yah, of course, we'll take it."
[20:43] * Missile_Rush gets it, but manages to hide it. Oh, Luna, these ponies. "Indeed. Very similar. So you can understand why I think you'll understand what I meant about compassion. It gives me a chance to perhaps stand in your hooves and understand what that sort of kindness is like." He pauses. "And now for the relatively mundane topic of economics. I have reason to believe that keeping her employed would be more of a liability than

[20:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice raises an eyebrow; "Is that right? She did pretty well her first couple nights. Earned back 400 of  the 1200 she owes me."
[20:49] * Jake_Juice looks back at everyone else "Ya'll don't mind if I take all of this out of all caps we just got right? Healing supplies is gona be used to patch you guys up anyways."
[20:50] * The_Batmare "That seems reasonable."
[20:51] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth. "We came here for even splits, at y'alls insistence. Now you wanna buy out of the honeypot?"
[20:52] * Missile_Rush nods. "True. But what of your others?" He smirks a little. "It seems that your employees are rather...jealous of this mare. I'd imagine so, pegasi aren't very common in these parts. But it seems that jealousy has begun to leak into their...wares. I personally heard some of your customers commenting on it as they were coming out, saying that the mares and stallions of the Stable haven't been nearly as...enthusiastic s
[20:53] <Missile_Rush> enthusiastic since the, quote, 'Luna-damned pegasus' arrived. They seemed quite disgruntled."
[20:53] * Missile_Rush smirks a little. "And of course, you of all ponies should know that disappointed customers is not a healthy thing."
[20:53] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow at Purple_Kay "If yah like, I could not heal you when yah get hurt."
[20:54] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice thinks about that for a moment; "She was only supposed to be temporary. I don't see why everyone else would be upset so soon."
[20:57] * Missile_Rush nods. "Temporary or not, your customers don't seem to be taking it well. Not unless they can actually throw their caps in with her, and one mare can only handle so much at a time." He makes another pause. "Let's recap. On one hoof, I would like a chance to emulate the compassion you've shown for Copper by extending my own hoof of aid to this mare. On the other, her staying here is more than a little detrimental for y

[20:59] * Jake_Juice chuckles and nods "Eyup."
[20:59] * Razor gives Jake_Juice a bit of a harsh look. "I'd rather have my caps, thanks!"
[21:00] * Missile_Rush nods. "In less than an hour, I will be going to Chapel to do what I can to find out what happened to Copper. I propose that the mare come with me and that we discuss another way for her to pay off her debt, with the understanding that she will no longer be employed at Stable 69 to disappoint any more of your customers." He looks to Caprice. "What do you say?"
[21:00] * Purple_Kay looks them both over. She may be nutty but he can't imagine Bats would let him be deliberately underhanded. Especially considering what her stance is with Rush. "Your word then?"
[21:00] * Jake_Juice chuckles "What about in combat? Would you rather be dead or alive? I can heal yah real quick if I have supplies... but if I don't... well, I'm not going out of my way to revive yah with mouth to mouth."
[21:01] * The_Batmare stares at Razor, "Caps are better than living, now?" She looks over at Jake_Juice, "We seem to know many mentally disabled ponies."
[21:02] * Purple_Kay gives Razor a 'trust me' look. "Put your word you won't take off, we're agreed." He sticks out his hoof.
[21:03] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice mulls that over; "I'll let you have her, but I still need to balance my books. I need at least 200 more caps from you or her before I let her go anywhere."
[21:03] * Razor gives another indignant snort. She was going to say something nasty, but Purple_Kay's look quieted her, for the moment.
[21:04] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Eyup." he looks at Purple_Kay and holds out his hoof "Yah have my word."
[21:04] * Missile_Rush nods. "I can arrange for that. When would you like the caps to be paid?"
[21:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice raises an eyebrow; "Do you not have that now?"
[21:05] * Missile_Rush nods. "I do, in fact. But perhaps you wanted to pay me under..." He glances at the mare with whom Caprice was speaking earlier. "...better circumstances."
[21:05] * Purple_Kay gives it a firm shake. Then puts the blanket and noodles in his bag, pushing Razor's food and water toward her. He waits for the remainder of the caps to be split.
[21:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice shakes her head; "You want me to take a gamble like that, you pay up front. Take it or leave it."
[21:06] * Missile_Rush sets 200 caps down on the counter, nodding. "Done."
[21:08] * Jake_Juice hooves over the caps to the old buck, and splits the rest and distributes them to everyone. "Done and done then."
[21:08] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice nods; "Alright then, just make sure she leaves her outfit at the Stable." She floats the caps over to the mare behidn the counter.
[21:09] * Missile_Rush nods. "Thank you for your time and patience." He raises his hoof to make a gesture of farewell to Caprice and the mare, before trotting out to find his way to Stable 69.
[21:09] * Razor takes her items and puts them away!
[21:09] <TenMihara|GM>  Stable 69 is open, but not exactly heavily active right now
[21:10] * Missile_Rush trots into the lobby to find Doc.
[21:10] * Jake_Juice takes the medical supplies and puts them in his bags as well.
[21:12] * Purple_Kay smiles. "Excellent. Come with us to the barracks?  I need to make a stop before we head out 'on mission.'"
[21:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The receptionist informs Missile_Rush that Doc is off duty at the moment, but is staying in her room from the night before still.
[21:12] * Missile_Rush nods and steps into the lobby.
[21:13] * Razor puts her caps away. She's still not really a happy pony.
[21:14] * The_Batmare "We should go see what Missile is doing and give him his caps."
[21:14] * Purple_Kay starts trotting toward the door, hoping the rest follow behind. He needs Buddy to get him a deal on armor from the guards. He should have just enough.
[21:14] <TenMihara|GM>  There's only a couple ponies around the lobby at this time, and the stage is empty
[21:15] * Missile_Rush makes his way to Doc's room and knocks.
[21:15] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare before they head out "You need or want anything hun'?"
[21:18] * Razor sticks with Kay.
[21:18] * Purple_Kay gets outside while the dynamic duo talk inside. Razor following behind. Once outside he looks to her, she doesn't look too happy. He leans in close and whispers, "Buck up, Kid. I'm not much of a looker, but I'm keen on math. We came out better than with even splits. Bats got the shaft."
[21:19] * The_Batmare "I desire for nothing."
[21:20] * Jake_Juice nods "Right then." he trots out and after the other ponies.
[21:20] * The_Batmare follows after Jake_Juice
[21:20] * Doc groans. "Murrr." She rolls out of the bed, and opens the door. "What?" She says. Her mane and tail are a mess, as well as her outfit. She looks up at Missile. "Oh, hey."
[21:21] * Missile_Rush nods. "I spoke to Caprice. You are now free to leave."
[21:22] * Purple_Kay 's ears swivel as Bats and Buddy make their way out. "Alright. I need you to work your magic at the guard's barracks. If we're going to head out in the Wastes, I need to kit myself with some decent protection."
[21:22] * Razor blinks. She looks a little dubious, but she doesn't say anything/
[21:23] * Doc 's ears perk up. "What? You actually convinced her?" She squees, and wraps Missile in a hug. "I didn't think you'd be able to." She releases the other pegasus, blushing slightly.
[21:25] * Missile_Rush , in spite of his cold demeanor, is surprisingly warm and soft. Nonetheless, he makes no indication that he felt the hug. He nods again. "She said to leave the outfit behind. Beyond that, you are free now." He looks behind him. "My work here is finished. Now that this is where we part ways, I wish you the best." He turns and begins to trot away.
[21:26] * Doc sheds her outfit, and then comes trotting after Missile. "Hey! Wait up! You

[21:27] * Doc sheds her outfit, and then comes trotting after Missile. "Hey! Wait up! You're just gunna trot away like that? Not even let me thank you?"
[21:28] * Missile_Rush keeps trotting on. "My job was to make sure you were freed. Nothing else. You don't need to thank me for that."
[21:28] * Jake_Juice chuckles and nods at Purple_Kay "Alright, no problem."
[21:29] <Doc> "On the contrary, I think I do. I at least owe you a small favor."
[21:30] * Missile_Rush keeps trotting on to make his way out of the Stable. "And what would that be?"
[21:31] * Purple_Kay leads the way to the barracks. Gotta get some decent leather armor and get invited on Rush's job.
[21:31] * Doc grabs her equipment and stuff out of a locker in the lobby, throwing her Reinforced Doctor Fatigues on as she followed Missile. "Help you out in whatever you're doing next I suppose."
[21:32] * Jake_Juice trots after Purple_Kay.
[21:33] * Razor sticks with Kay. She probably couldn't afford an upgrade of her own, but it didn't hurt to check.
[21:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay and Razor arrive at the Constabulary, followed by The_Batmare and Jake_Juice, passing by Stable 69 as Doc and Missile_Rush are on the way out.
[21:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap is standing out front yet again.
[21:34] * Purple_Kay "You're up, Buddy."
[21:34] * Missile_Rush makes no reply as he trots out of Stable 69 to find the others.
[21:35] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush can spot the others out front of the Constabulary with Double Tap
[21:35] * Doc dons her fedora and a set of glasses, simply following Missile, taking his silence as a yes.
[21:35] * Purple_Kay slows up so Jake can take the lead. No need to foul the first impressions.
[21:36] * Missile_Rush goes off to meet with the others. He speaks to them. "My work is finished." He looks to Purple_Kay and Jake, figuring out what's going on, and remains silent after that.
[21:36] * The_Batmare notices Missile_Rush, "Hello." She hooves him his 22 caps. Then she nods at Doc, "Citizen."
[21:37] * Doc tips her hat to the oddly dressed mare.
[21:37] * Missile_Rush looks at the caps and simply stares at it for several moments. He takes it for now.
[21:39] * Jake_Juice nods at Rush "Hey, so... you think we could go on this job with you? Who's the employer anyways?"
[21:40] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap pushes past the rest of the group to address Doc and Missile_Rush; "Caprice told me about your little bargain. She's the one in charge here, so I don't mind for now, but if you (referring to Doc) set another hoof out of line, you'll be back in the cell faster than you can blink. Might even let Scarlet satisfy her itchy trigger. Got it?"
[21:41] * The_Batmare blinks, "What did she do?"
[21:42] * Doc is tempted to say something about the capability of Scarlet being able to even hold a gun, but holds her tounge, simply nodding instead.
[21:42] * Missile_Rush makes a nod of thanks to The_Batmare. He turns to Jake_Juice. "Caprice. She's hired me to investigate the disappearance of a friend of hers." He turns to Double Tap and nods. "Understood. She will make no more trouble."
[21:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Double_Tap looks to The_Batmare; "That's her concern capes. Now, what do the rest of you need?"
[21:44] * Purple_Kay "Need to kit up for some work, Armor to be precise."
[21:45] * The_Batmare "Unless you have unarmed weaponry I need nothing."
[21:46] * Razor eyes the other pegasus that Rush was with.
[21:46] * Missile_Rush "I need nothing."
[21:47] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap nods; "We might have some spares. Though for your size, it might be a bit tight." He looks to Missile_Rush; "Weren't you after that varmint rifle to pair up with your .32?"
[21:47] * Missile_Rush turns back to Double_Tap and nods. "I was. Refresh my memory, What is your price?"
[21:47] <TenMihara|GM>  "280 caps."
[21:48] * Purple_Kay nods. He's looking around at the visible equipment, for something he could fit in.
[21:49] <TenMihara|GM>  There isn't any equipment on display, they keep all their spares locked away
[21:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap motions for Purple_Kay to step inside, eyeballing him, then trotting into the back of the office. He comes back with a set of basic leather armour that looks like it was just big enough to fit him; "You're in luck."
[21:50] * Purple_Kay smiles, "First time for everything." He glances back to Jake meaningfully.
[21:51] * Doc looks over at Razor, noticing her eyeing her.
[21:51] * Jake_Juice hmms "Caprice? She's a nice mare, yeah, wouldn't mind doin' a job for her." he looks at Doc and raises an eyebrow, eyeing her. He holds out a hoof to her "Jake Juice, madam, it is a pleasure." after he shakes her hoof he trots in after Purple_Kay and just smirks at him. "So, how mucch for the armor chief?"
[21:51] * Razor isn't trying to be secretive. She openly distrusting of everypony.
[21:52] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap looks at the armour; "Not like we're gonna find anypony else that'll fit. Typically in that case we just cut it up for materials. I'll give it to ya for 80."
[21:52] * Missile_Rush turns to Jake_Juice. "I need to take care of something else. We can talk later, meet me in front of the Trough in a bit." He turns to Double Tap. "Perhaps another time. For now, I go." He takes wing and launches into the air to fly away, making his way to the general store.
[21:53] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush is greeted at the general store by the old buck, who had been just about to sit back down in his chair to continue napping.\
[21:54] * Missile_Rush nods to the old buck. "I'm looking for weaponry. Do you carry any?"
[21:54] * Jake_Juice waves a hoof at Missile_Rush as he trots off.
[21:55] * Purple_Kay thinks that's a fair deal, but waits to see what Jake can do to make it better.
[21:57] * Doc initiates a staring contest with Razor.
[21:58] <TenMihara|GM>  The buck nods; "Some ah reckon. Wat choo need?"
[21:58] * Missile_Rush replies. "What do you carry? May I look?"
[21:59] * Razor could stare down an angry dragon!
[21:59] * Jake_Juice hmms "Yah seem nice enough, an' mah good friend PK ere' has been through some rough shit. So I'd like to get him a discount if possible.. the armor, while it doesn't seem used a whole lot, seems kinda old... how bout' we give yah 60 caps for it instead?"
[22:00] <TenMihara|GM>  The buck leads Missile_Rush over to a section of his shop containing a locked cabinet with some guns inside, as well as a few miscellaneous non-firearms. There are also some locked ammo boxed beneath the cabinet. The firearms available are 9mm Pistol, 9mm SMG, Varmint Rifle, .32 and .22 weaponry, and one well maintained .357 Repeater rifle.
[22:02] * Missile_Rush examines the weapons. He gestures to a .32 Rifle and the .357 Repeater. "What is your price for those?"
[22:03] <TenMihara|GM>  "190 for the .32 rifle and 475 for the repeater."
[22:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Double_Tap frowns; "Sorry, but the materials alone are worth more'n that if any of us ever needed a patch job. 80 caps."
[22:06] * Purple_Kay fishes out the caps. "I'll take it."
[22:07] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap nods and takes the caps, passing the barding over; "Thanks then. Need anything else?"
[22:08] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Sorry PK." he chuckles "I'm much better at bartering with mares to be honest. It was a good deal anyways."
[22:09] * Purple_Kay nods. He looks at Double Tap while stowing the armor."4 caps get me a dozen .22 rounds?"
[22:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap nods; "Sure, but you might wanna think about saving up and getting something better. Those are single shot rifles, and they can't be too practical with such a low caliber."
[22:15] * Purple_Kay smirks. He turns to show off his custom rig. "Small caliber, sure. But I've smoked an alpha radhog at 150 yards. Linked gimble mounted rifles..." he gives the reloader a quick kick. "WIth a smooth auto-loader."
[22:16] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Top whistles; "Well, that is a tad more impressive than most conventional rigs, but you're still gonna need something with more kick eventually."
[22:17] * Purple_Kay "Yeah." He taps his head. "Got the plans, not the caps. Hopefully we can fix the latter.'
[22:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap smirks; "Ain't that always the way. Luckily, our funds come from Caprice in the interest of keeping the peace 'round here, so we do well enough." His own saddle sports a pair of .357's.
[22:19] * Razor decides to take the initiative and sidles up to Doc. "So what'd you do, Turkey? Sounded like you pissed him off real good."
[22:21] * Doc glances over at Razor. "Dropped a junkie who was dying from a massive withdrawl from 2000 feet." She replies.
[22:21] * Jake_Juice trots back over to The_Batmare "So, you up for saving this mare? Even if she isn't in trouble, just finding her."
[22:22] <Doc> 200*
[22:23] * The_Batmare nods at Jake_Juice, "It seems a worthy cause."
[22:23] * Jake_Juice chuckles and nods "Indeed, I'm always up for saving a damsel in distress."
[22:23] * Razor grins a bit. "Yeah? What'd you get out of it? You should share! Take pity on a poor mare with nothing to her name!" She gives a mock pout.
[22:23] * Purple_Kay eyes Tap's rig. "Impressive serup. I see you prefer the..." Purple continues to make technical smalltalk.

[22:25] * Doc raises an eyebrow. "Yeahno."
[22:25] <TenMihara|GM>  Double enjoys the smalltalk, though he prefers talking about the relative power of the weapons moreso than their inner workings.
[22:25] * The_Batmare nods, "Anyone in distress really. Well, mostly everyone." She glares at Razor
[22:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Double_Tap seems particularly proud of his .357's having expanded tubes and stock made of slightly charred maple.
[22:28] * Razor frowns. "Yeah, fine. Be that way. I'll remember it for later."
[22:29] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare then at Razor and just shakes his head. "Anyways... probably gona go over and talk to Caprice before we head out."
[22:29] <Jake_Juice> "You coming with hun'?"
[22:30] <Doc> "I doubt you'd even know what half this shit is."
[22:30] <Doc> "Let alone how to use it."
[22:31] * The_Batmare nods and goes to follow Jake_Juice, "I don't see why not."
[22:31] * Razor grins. "You'd be surprised, Turkey.
[22:31] * Purple_Kay was queuing up for a speel on the benifites of a shorter action when he notices the group seems to be preparing to head off. He starts his goodbyes. Always good to be on good terms with the guards, and the guards of Flank have treated him better than a lot of places.
[22:32] * Jake_Juice chuckles "You seemed hesitant about heading into mixers last time is all." he begins trotting towards mixers.
[22:32] * Doc laughs. "Well, next time there's a pony injured by a shotgun blast, I'll let you sew them back up."
[22:33] * The_Batmare coughs into her hoof, "Yes, well. It is early, I can't imagine it'll be very, er, busy."
[22:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Mixers is indeed not very busy. Caprice has long since finished her breakfast, and is now going over some paperwork at that same table. The mare from before has gone off elsewhere.
[22:35] * Missile_Rush nods at the old buck. "I see." He glances at the Repeater. "Where did that come from? It looks quite well-maintained."
[22:35] * The_Batmare is still feeling a little awkward in the place, and spends her time staring straight ahead at the most boring wall she can find.
[22:36] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant smirks; "That one used to be my old rifle. I keep 'er in good shape, but I get by wit sommat cheaper to use nowadays."
[22:36] * Razor glares. "I just want some of the good shit, Turkey. That too much to ask?"
[22:36] <Doc> "I'm afraid so, seeing as I have very little of it as it is."
[22:36] * Missile_Rush nods. "Your old rifle? There must be plenty of sentimental calue behind it."

[22:37] * Jake_Juice chuckles at The_Batmare "Ah... I see." he continues trotting towards mixers til they get there, then opens the door for The_Batmare as they head inside and look for Caprice. Oh look, there she is. He trots over to her with The_Batmare "Hey Caprice, heard about that little search and rescue mission job you're offering, and we'd like to go help find your gal for yah, along
[22:37] * Jake_Juice with Rush, and three other ponies who aren't here right now."
[22:38] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant nods; "Dat thur is. Ah'd be happy t'see her go if she gets put t'good use, but not fer cheap. Gotta make sure whoever takes her is in it fer the long'n good of it."
[22:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice looks up, having donned a pair of glasses for reading her numbers; "You too huh? Is that pegasus rounding up a whole posse for this? I thought he ust want that other pegasus for a bit of help."
[22:39] * Missile_Rush nods. "Understandable." He turns to the merchant. "You don't take credit, do you?"
[22:40] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant shakes his head; "Ain't nuttin worth credit in these parts."
[22:40] * Purple_Kay finishes his goodbyes and heads after the rest of the gang.
[22:42] * Missile_Rush snickers a bit. "Hm. I see." He wonders. "I might have something to sell, first."
[22:45] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant shakes his head again; "You want old Smokey, caps only."
[22:46] * Missile_Rush shakes his head too. "I said 'sell', not 'trade'."
[22:46] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant blinks; "Oh. Um... wat choo got?"
[22:47] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Yeah, seems like it. And I'm always up for helping a damsel in distress Caprice." he shakes "Anyways, he never really said how much the reward was, came to ask you about that."
[22:47] * Missile_Rush presents the Sparkle Pack from earlier.
[22:49] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice considers; "Hundred caps each if she's dead. Hundred and fifty if she's dead -and- you bring back her body, Two hundred alive and two-fifty alive -and- unharmed."
[22:50] * The_Batmare is staring at the least interesting wall. It's so... uninteresting. Perfect.
[22:51] * Purple_Kay makes it to Mixers and heads inside.
[22:52] * Missile_Rush also gestures to his rifle. "And if I were to sell this? How much would you be willing to give?"
[22:52] * Doc has wadered with the others back to Mixers as well.
[22:52] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant looks it over; "Don't get many magical energy weapons 'round ere. 'Course, rare can be priceless or wortless dependin'."
[22:53] * Razor stuck with PK when he headed toward Mixers.
[22:53] * Missile_Rush nods. "I understand. How much are you willing to take it for?"
[22:54] * Jake_Juice smiles "That's pretty reasonable Caprice, thanks, just wanted to make sure we weren't going to get paid something unreasonably low." he chuckles "Should've expected more from such a generous mare such as yourself."
[22:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant smirks; "Yer in luck. Ah actually had a guy lookin' fer these but had nothin' for him. I'll give ya 40 for it."
[22:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice looks past Jake_Juice to Doc; "Whatever the outcome, I'm keeping her share though. Just because I'm letting her out, doesn't mean she's stopped owing me."
[22:56] * Missile_Rush passes the Sparkle Pack over. "Easier done than said."
[22:56] * Jake_Juice nods "Of course Caprice..." he didn't know anything about Doc anyways.
[22:56] * Doc nods. "Fair enough."
[22:57] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant gives Missile_Rush hsi caps; "Don't think that rifle you got now'll be worth quit 'nuff fer Smokey. You can probably try later once yu got s'more caps; she's not likely to go anywhere."
[22:57] * Missile_Rush takes the caps with a nod. "Understood. Could you hold a rain check on Smokey for now?"
[22:59] <TenMihara|GM>  The old merchant smirks; "Ah like yet eyes kid. Eef yu c'n 'fford 'er, she's yers."
[23:02] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice nods; "If that's all, would you mind leaving? I've got a lot of paperwork to get through."
[23:03] * Razor takes the opportunity to look for somepony selling things of a more dubious nature.
[23:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor gets the feeling that in this place, that's not a tall order. She should try asking at the counter.
[23:04] * Purple_Kay takes the hint and heads out. He figures now is as good a time as any to get suited up for the hunt. He starts removing his battle saddle so that he can don his armor and adjust the saddle.
[23:05] * Doc follows PK out, wondering where Missile went off to
[23:06] * Razor gladly does so, with a big grin on her face. "I'm lookin' for the good stuff! Got a big day ahead, and I need to be ready!"
[23:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare nods; "Mind being more specific? We have lots of 'good stuff' here."
[23:08] * The_Batmare "Let us go then." She starts to leave with Jake, keeping an eye on the very interesting floor
[23:09] * Jake_Juice turns and leaves the The_Batmare.

[23:12] * Razor keeps grinning. "Hmmm! What about... Rage? And I'll need some Buck too!"
[23:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare nods; "Sounds like one hell of a good time. How many doses?"
[23:13] * Razor thinks for a moment. "I thiiink I'd better just go with one of each."
[23:13] * The_Batmare stands around outside the mixers until shopping is done.
[23:14] * Jake_Juice stands there with The_Batmare "Yah don't normally talk much, do yah?"
[23:15] * Purple_Kay grunts as he finishes removing his battle saddle. Blood dampens his neck in places as the stress again tears the lattice of scars covering his front half. You would think after so long they wouldn't knit so tight...
[23:15] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare nods and provides an injector and a buck tablet; "Sixty caps."
[23:16] * Razor tosses the caps on the counter and takes the goods! She's still grinning. "Oh yeah, today's gonna be good!"
[23:16] * Purple_Kay dons his new armor, making a mental list of places it binds or is loose, he'll probably need to make some adjustments.
[23:16] * The_Batmare shakes her head. "No."
[23:16] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare nods; "Sounds like it. Ciao."
[23:17] * Razor leaves Mixers to hook up with Kay. She looks pretty happy.
[23:18] * Purple_Kay adjusts some of the straps on his saddle. He needs to let it out in some places to account for the armor. Satisfied it should be close, he starts the somewhat painful precess of getting it on his broad back.
[23:19] * Jake_Juice simply nods "I can respect that hun'."
[23:21] * The_Batmare nods. And then says nothing. For how broke they were shopping sure took a while
[23:22] * Jake_Juice "They sure are taking awhile... probably should've went with em'...eh, whatever."
[23:23] <TenMihara|GM>  The group is done shopping and congregates at the north entrance of Flank, which leads to the main road
[23:25] * Purple_Kay , satisfied with a saddle's stability, takes a step forward. A soft tearing sound emanates from over his shoulder. He appraises himself again. The cuffs are a little short and he... bulges... in places. A seam at his withers gave way. He'd need to do some alterations when he got some materials. Still, a lot better than nothing.
[23:25] * The_Batmare "Did you have anything further to purchase either."
[23:27] * Jake_Juice shakes his head "Nah, I've got what I need to treat most simple wounds at least... don't really have anything to do surgery with, but, if anyone gets that hurt I might not be able to help em' anyways." he looks at the rest of the group and trots over to em'. "So, we ready to go?"
[23:28] * Purple_Kay "I'm ready." Overlooking the 'capri' style oh his armor and the occasional bursted seam, his new tight leather armor isn't that bad looking.
[23:29] * The_Batmare nods, "Where are we searching this pony out?"
[23:32] * Doc shrugs. "Dunno."
[23:33] <Jake_Juice> "Chapel? Right? Or at least, along the way there."
[23:34] * Purple_Kay "Easy enough. Figure she would follow the roads. Don't ya think?"
[23:35] * Razor sticks by Kay's side. She keeps a wary eye on the freakshow, and Rush's turkey friend, but stays quiet, for now.
[23:35] * Jake_Juice nods "Yeah, you'd think so, but you never know. She could've seen something on one of the roads that spooked her."
[23:38] * Purple_Kay  nods."She's made the trip on a routine. She would know better than to leave the roads unless she was forced off or ambushed by something. Best bet is probably to take the road to Chapel and keep an eye out. We can expand our search on the way back if we don't find her on the way there."
[23:49] * Purple_Kay starts heading down the road.
[23:49] * Razor follows!
[23:51] * Jake_Juice starts trotting after Purple_Kay and Razor "Looks like were headin' out hun'." he says to The_Batmare.
[23:52] <TenMihara|GM>  The main road of Hoofington, in spite of its name, doesn't actually lead through the main part of the city (The Core). It's an old, but still mostly intact highway that leads all the way back to the Manehattan area, and passes by most of the major post-apocalypse places the Hoof has to offer. Chapel is only a stone's throw away from the Core, and the group will have to travel past the Reaper Stadium and Collegeate to get
[23:52] * The_Batmare is totally following!
[23:52] <TenMihara|GM>  travel past the reaper stadium and Egghead College to get there
[23:53] * Doc is flying along above thr group.
[23:54] * Purple_Kay keeps his eyes peeled. It's been a good while since he has traveled through the Wasteland proper.
[23:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The outskirts of Hoofington are fairly barren, with only the few major stops along this lonely road marking habitable settlements. There were more along the river that ran through the Hoof, since even irrated rapids can provide life sustainment.
[23:59] <TenMihara|GM>  As the group travels along the road, they eventually spot some figures moving in the opposite direction.
[23:59] * The_Batmare finds this wasteland boring. needs more skycrapers to stare meancingly off of.
[23:59] <TenMihara|GM>  The only Skyscrapers in Hoofington are in the Core
[23:59] * Purple_Kay focuses his attention at the forms in the distance, gauging how far away they are.
[00:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay can make out Four equines moving towards them in shabby barding. Razor can smell a hint of blood in the air, and her violence sense tingles. These were ponies looking for trouble.
[00:02] <TenMihara|GM>  They don't seem to have noticed the group yet
[00:02] * Purple_Kay holds out a hoof, stopping the group. He growls out a soft warning, "Trouble."
[00:04] * Razor looks toward the approaching ponies, another grin forming on her face. She draws her weapon. "Trouble for them!"
[00:04] * The_Batmare "We cannot attack them first, we do not know them."
[00:04] * Doc stops, coming to a hover and drawing her 9 mm. She looks down at The_Batmare. "The hell kind of engagement rules you operatin' on?"
[00:05] * Purple_Kay squints. He's been around the Wasteland a few times. He tries to make out anything that would identify them, as well as get a feel for the distance.
[00:06] * Razor gives The_Batmare a look. "You don't smell it? It's blood. That means one thing!"
[00:06] * The_Batmare "Don't attack someone first? How do you even know they're agressive, and blood could mean anything. Maybe they had to defend themselves because they were attacked unjustly."
[00:06] * Purple_Kay skulks forward slowly
[00:07] <Doc> "I am honestly surprised you're still alive."
[00:07] * The_Batmare "because I don't attack everyone I see? I'm surprised you're alive with such a violent attitude."
[00:07] * Jake_Juice backs behind everyone else, keeping his mouth shut for now.
[00:09] * Doc snorts. "You don't even know me." She turns her attention towards where PK was heading towards.
[00:09] * Razor takes out her recently purchased tablet of Buck, waiting for the right moment. She /knows/ things are going to go down, and she wants to be ready.
[00:10] * The_Batmare "You are suggesting attacking strangers on the road for no reasons. I know enough about you."
[00:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay can see the four approaching equines, about a hundred feet off, are wearing ragger, bloodstained and dirty makeshift armour often seen on raiders. They seemed to have stopped moving forward... and a shot is fired.
[00:11] <Doc> "For the record, I never said anything of the sort."
[00:11] <TenMihara|GM>  The shot flies right past MIssile_Rush, not hitting him
[00:11] <Doc> "And lookie there, now they're trying to kill us!"
[00:12] * The_Batmare "Well yes this time, but we only know that now that they shot us. You can't just assume such things."
[00:12] * Jake_Juice looks around for cover... and if he can't find any he just hides behind everyone else for now.
[00:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile does not like being shot at. He immediately kicks into combat mode and launches a well places shot, with a more frantic followup
[00:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile's first shot nails one of the raiders in the base of the neck, the impact only marginally weakened by the crude armour. The raider staggers, but recovers fairly quickly
[00:22] * The_Batmare runs up to the closest raider bitch and pops them three times with her brass pony shoes. She would teleport, but it's not really worth the AP at any horizontal distance, yet. Give it time.
[00:24] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare's rush catches the raiders off guard, and the one out in front who had fired at Missile takes a solid blow to the chest from one of her hooves
[00:28] * Razor grins. She /knew/ they'd have a fight on their hooves! She immediately steps into action, taking the Buck she'd prepared and heading straight for the raiders! She takes her weapon in her mouth and jumps right on one of the free ones, slashing for all she's worth!
[00:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor's frantic swinging pays off, carving a deep gash into the chest of one of the uninjured raiders, their armour little more than paper to her. Her backswing severs one of his front legs.
[00:35] * The_Batmare wonders why everyone's legs in Hoofington are made from tissue paper
[00:36] * Jake_Juice peeks out from behind everyone else and fires off one aimed shot and one normal shot at the enemy not getting pounced on.
[00:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice's shots are thwarted only by the range at which he was firing, and only just.
[00:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The raider that The_Batmare punched drops his rifle and attempts to beat the mare back with his own spike-shod hooves.
[00:44] <TenMihara|GM>  The raider's first swing doesn't connect, but his two followup jabs hit her chest and left foreleg
[00:45] <TenMihara|GM>  The raider who Razor butchered frantically pulls out a small pistol and fires at her four times
[00:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Said raider misses his first shot, clips her right foreleg with the second, and jams the gun on the third. He frantically tried to backpedal on three legs after the gun jams
[00:46] <TenMihara|GM>  He drops the gun in the process.
[00:48] <TenMihara|GM>  The third raider grabs the dropped rifle of the lead raider and fires two more shots at The_Batmare
[00:49] * Razor winces slightly as she's clipped in the right foreleg, but overall that's /definitely/ not going to stop her.
[00:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The Third Raider manages to plug The_Batmare in the chest with one shot, while the other grazes her neck
[00:50] * The_Batmare winces. She was going to need to wash her costume after this.
[00:51] <TenMihara|GM>  The final raider, armed with a single load shotgun, shoves his gun more or less right in Razor's face and opens fir.
[00:51] <TenMihara|GM>  *fire
[00:53] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor is blasted right in the chest by the buckshot, and should count herself lucky the buck had only one shot.
[00:54] * Purple_Kay growls around the yoke of his battle saddle. He sights in on the stupid fucker with the shotgun. His face set in cold fury, he sends a pair of shots downrange.
[00:55] * Razor takes it like a mare! It hurts like hell, but she's on a Buck-fueled rampage!
[00:57] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's patience and aim pay off yet again, as his twinshots both hit home. The first pair hits the buck in the chest, winding him and causing him to drop the shotgun, the second two strike his left flank as he stumbles, badly wounded.
[01:03] * Doc flies forward, getting in range of the raiders before firing off two shots at the shotgun-raider.
[01:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The wounded shotgun raider's head and left from kneecap explode in a shower of gore
[01:07] <TenMihara|GM>  the other raiders are splashed with it
[01:08] * Doc giggles. She may very well be insane, but we're not quite sure, yet.
[01:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile takes a couple of shots. At first he thought to finish off the raider that was missing a leg now, but he thinks that might make her angry, and instead aims to help The_Batmare
[01:11] * Razor frowns. She was gonna cut that fucker! Oh well. There's still plenty of 'em to go around!
[01:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile is unfortunately not all that helpful this time
[01:14] * The_Batmare continues to martial arts fight the raider trying to kick her! Hiyah she says as she delivers a flurry of 5 kicks,
[01:16] <TenMihara|GM>  Three of The_Batmare's kicks land, bloodying up the face and chest of the lead raider fairly badly. He does not look happy about this
[01:19] * Razor goes in for the kill on the unfortunate raider now missing a leg. No mercy!
[01:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor cleaves his head clean open on her second swing, the first one coming up short because of his stumbling without a leg
[01:24] * Missile_Rush ([email protected]) Quit ( Connection closed )
[01:24] * Razor grins wide, turning now to the nearest target, the one locked in combat with The_Batmare. She jumps on him from behind, continuing her assault!
[01:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor's wild swinging doesn't manage to get inbetween the two unarmed grapplers
[01:28] * Jake_Juice moves up closer and fires off two shots at the one who's barely hurt.
[01:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice manages a lucky shot to the rifle bearing raider's chest through a hole in his patchwork armour, finishing him off with another shot to the chest almost right next to it
[01:32] * Jake_Juice reloads his gun and waits for everyone else to kill everyone else. Er... you know what I mean.
[01:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The lead raider, despite the loss of all three companions, seems determined to at least try and bring The_Batmare down with him, and unleashes his own flurry of blows. He might die, but in his mind, he was going to die the victor
[01:35] <TenMihara|GM>  He does not, however, count on his bloodied head causing him to over lead his first swing and go right past the Batmare and right into Razor's machete, which slices his faace open
[01:36] <TenMihara|GM>  He's not quite dead, but now has a nasty gash over most of his muzzle
[01:37] * Purple_Kay lines up his crosshairs with the surviving raider's head as he rears up raining strikes ineffectively on the Batmare. He hesitates. He has questions and corpses hold up really well to interrogation. He lowers his aim...
[01:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's saddle misfires, both of the guns choking, but not before one of the shots snags Razor in the ass
[01:42] * Razor gives a loud, "Mmph!" around her machete (which provided a convenient censor). She doesn't know where it came from, but she hasn't noticed the other raider went down, so probably assumes it came from him.
[01:43] * Doc turns her aim to the last raider, and fires off two shots at him.
[01:44] * Doc misses, and fire off two more rounds!
[01:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc's aim is unfortunately miserable with a conventional pistol.
[01:46] * Purple_Kay can hear his saddle's mechanism clearing itself. He hollars down to the embattled mares, "Try and take him alive! He may know something!"
[01:49] <Doc> "...I need a shotgun."
[01:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile seems conflicted. This Raider was doing a decent job of bloodying those on the ground, even if they were returning the favour, but he had no idea what Purple_Kay thought he could possibly know. He decides to play it safe and aim without firing. Yet
[01:52] * The_Batmare hears PK and proceeds to beat the fuck out of the raider with her bare hoof
[01:56] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare is more than successful in pummeling the raider into unconsciousness
[01:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush keeps his rifle trained on the unconscious raider just in case
[01:57] * Purple_Kay watches the stallion go down under the flurry of punches, he also sees the buck fueld fury in Razor's eyes. "LISTEN TO ME KID! DON"T TOUCH HIM!"
[01:57] * The_Batmare "There." She says over to PK, "He is out cold, if you want to talk to him I suggest tying him up."
[01:58] * Purple_Kay is looking around looking for something vertical, a blasted tree, an old roadsign, anything, as he gallops forward.
[01:58] <TenMihara|GM>  There's an old, bent over sign indicating a speed bump.
[01:59] * Purple_Kay spies the sign. Give her a mission! "Kid! Drag him here! I NEED him here!"
[02:00] * Razor blinks and looks over at Kay, hearing him shouting. She turns back to the buck. She wants to finish it... but she hesitates.
[02:01] * Jake_Juice trots over to The_Batmare, holstering his gun.
[02:02] * Doc reloads and holsters her pistol, landing.
[02:03] * Purple_Kay skids to a stop at the unconcious stallion. "You did good, Kid." He starts to heft the stallion up on his back to carry him to the old sign. "Gonna need your help in a second kid."
[02:03] * Razor turns to Kay again, then back to the buck. After a moment, she gives a slight growl and takes her weapon in her levitation. A compromise. She grabs the buck by the tail and drags him forcefully over to Kay. Maybe drag him over some rocks or something.
[02:03] * The_Batmare streaches a little and rubs at her neck wound then winces.
[02:05] * Purple_Kay trundles over to the sign. He deposits the buck on his rump by the sign. he rummages in his pack, grabbing a yard length of chain, a bolt, a couple wide washers, and a nut. He props the stallion up against the sign's post and chains his neck tightly, but not enough to strangle him, to the pole.
[02:05] * Razor drops the tail from her mouth, once she finishes dragging him over. She looks at Kay. "When you're done... can I have him?"
[02:06] * Doc trots over to where the raider had dropped his shotgun, picking it up and examining it.
[02:06] * Purple_Kay spits in the stallions face. "Wake up you cum-guzzling gutter filth."
[02:06] <TenMihara|GM>  The raider remains unconscious
[02:06] <TenMihara|GM>  He was very badly hurt when he was knocked out, and probably has a concussion or two
[02:06] * Jake_Juice winces a bit as he looks at The_Batmare's wounds, then digs out one of the healing potions he bought from the general store and holds it up to her mouth "Here, drink this hun'." he says, feeding her the potion.
[02:08] * Jake_Juice redacts that
[02:08] * Purple_Kay grabs his face firmly and tilts it up. He grabs his canteen and pours a goodly portion on the raider bastard.
[02:08] * Razor waits only a few moments, then walks back to the bodies of the others. She'll ask again when she's done looting. She starts checking the bodies for anything valuable.
[02:09] * Jake_Juice looks over The_Batmare's body in search of wounds and bullets because hardcore mode. "Yah got any bullets lodged in yah or anything like that hun'?"
[02:10] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth. Simulating drowning always seemed to wake him up when he had been beaten unconscious...
[02:11] * The_Batmare "I don't know, I wasn't keeping track."
[02:12] <TenMihara|GM>  From the pile of Raiders, Razor can pull out one .32 Bolt action rifle, 6 .32 Caliber rounds, one Single-Shot 20 Gauge Shotgun, 3 20 Gauge Shells, 4 sets of Raider Armour, two Lead pipes, one set of Spiked Ponyshoes, one 9mm Pistol, 7 9mm rounds, 25 bottle caps, and one dose of Rage.
[02:12] <TenMihara|GM>  *20 gauge buckshot shells
[02:13] <TenMihara|GM>  The buckshot pellets in Razor's chest -really- sting right now, as does the .22LR in her ass.
