  1. Went shopping with Beans today. The folk here are pretty resourceful. Since we’ve been gone and opened up the first area of the mana pools they’ve been making excursions and finding magical items. It’s a shame the rings from before aren’t available anymore, and there really wasn’t anything I liked, but I did get Beans to try on a tiara and she was the most adorable thing ever. I’m sure Blossom would have squeezed her tight if she had seen it as well.
  2. We picked up my statue of Foteea as well. It is amazing. I had this idea of having crushed gems fused into the statue as it was cast and it worked perfectly. Worth every gold I spent. The gem dust catches the light and makes it look like the inside of the statue is ablaze. I’ll find a suitable spot for it in my room. *A drawing of the statue takes up the entirety of the following page, and it is obvious more time went into this than her normal half-assed sketches*
  3. I spent some time with Dereau Fullbright today. He’s the most eye catching and interesting of the previous chief’s group. He’s some sort of undead revenant, but he radiates positive energy, unlike nearly every other undead being I’ve ever come across. His spirit someone clung to Kor instead of moving on to Yomat-Du, and he’s fairly sane for a spirit as well. He was reluctant to talk much about himself however, I’m not really surprised. I am still a stranger after all, even if I’m not in the chief’s band and the Skywatcher. He is old, and seems intelligent enough. I get the feeling he’s hanging around this area to stay away from the war to the south, even if he won’t admit it. I hope to make a friend of him yet, I’m sure he can teach me many things with his years of experience.
