  30. [10:17] <theDM> A pop up appears on Arkham's screen
  31. [10:18] <theDM> "Accept kageTatsumaki as your server player?"
  32. [10:18] * Arkham_Echpea accepts.
  33. [10:19] <theDM> Arkham sees the game close itself out.
  34. [10:19] <Arkham_Echpea> "haww..."
  35. [10:19] <theDM> Jikan, however, sees an entirely new screen
  36. [10:20] <theDM> A troll girl stands in the middle of the woods, surrounded by various creatures and a nearby pile of dirt with a cushion on top.
  37. [10:20] <kageTatsumaki> He throws the laptop.
  38. [10:20] <theDM> He also sees a menu along the top of his screen
  39. [10:21] * Arkham_Echpea goes back to the dungeons and dragons page, and tries to work out how to make character sheets for her fairies.
  40. [10:21] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan was scared.
  41. [10:21] <kageTatsumaki> He thought he saw the lady from his dream.
  42. [10:21] <kageTatsumaki> He picks up the laptop again and checks it.
  43. [10:22] <theDM> The same screen is there.
  44. [10:22] <theDM> The troll is now reading a page on her computer.
  45. [10:22] <kageTatsumaki> KT: What is friend doing
  46. [10:22] <Arkham_Echpea> FP: weh hare trying toh play thheh game
  47. [10:23] <kageTatsumaki> ???
  48. [10:23] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan is way confused.
  49. [10:23] <kageTatsumaki> He goes quiet, and messes with the interface.
  50. [10:25] <theDM> You see options to move the camera around, commands labeled "move," "revise," "deploy," and a few other tabs
  51. [10:25] <kageTatsumaki> He checks for a japanese option.
  52. [10:25] <theDM> You do not see a Japanese option. Sadly.
  53. [10:25] <kageTatsumaki> He selects one of the options at random.

  57. [10:26] <theDM> Your cursor turns into a disjointed, silver house.

  59. [10:27] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan guesses he clicks the mouse pad?
  60. [10:27] <theDM> You outline a small section of dirt, causing it to even out the terrain inside the outline.
  61. [10:28] <kageTatsumaki> It is like the Japanese Sims!
  62. [10:28] <kageTatsumaki> Are there walls?
  63. [10:28] <theDM> There are no walls, but there is an option for you to make new walls with this tool
  64. [10:29] <kageTatsumaki> I make this random person on my screen a house.
  65. [10:30] <theDM> You make a house around her before recieving a flashing warning.
  66. [10:30] <theDM> 0/20 Build Grist remaining
  67. [10:30] <kageTatsumaki> What did Jikan do??
  68. [10:30] <theDM> You have run out of stuff to build with.
  69. [10:30] <kageTatsumaki> "Lady." He says to the screen.
  70. [10:31] <theDM> A house appears around Arkham and her fairies.
  71. [10:31] * Arkham_Echpea jumps.
  72. [10:31] <kageTatsumaki> "Go get job and bring more builds."
  73. [10:31] <Arkham_Echpea> "hohh hokay we're starting"
  74. [10:31] <theDM> The lady cannot hear Jikan when he speaks out loud.
  75. [10:31] <kageTatsumaki> The person on my screen is moving.
  76. [10:31] <kageTatsumaki> How do I communicate with her?
  77. [10:31] * Arkham_Echpea starts looking through the PHB for what to do when a house appears.
  78. [10:32] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan presses on The Lady with his cursor.
  79. [10:32] <theDM> The cursor flashes red when you try to click Arkham.
  80. [10:32] <kageTatsumaki> Sometimes you can delete things to sell them.
  81. [10:33] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan trys to sell the trees.
  82. [10:33] <theDM> You click a tree and rip it out of the ground.
  83. [10:34] <theDM> It does not give you more grist, but you are now holding a tree above the ground with your cursor.
  84. [10:35] <kageTatsumaki> Tell me more about the surroundings.
  85. [10:35] <theDM> Strat do you want to take that?
  86. [10:36] * Arkham_Echpea lives in a lightly forested clearing, which contains a small pond next to an extinguished campfire and a pile of dirt with a cushion on top. The ground is covered in ripped up and subsequently trampled flowers, and Arkham is surrounded by several Alternian wild animals. Most of these animals have been decorated with flowers in some way or another.

  88. [10:38] <theDM> You drag a fangbeast (wolf) into the air.
  89. [10:38] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan tries to sell the fangbeast.
  90. [10:38] <theDM> You look for the option to sell, but see none.
  91. [10:39] <kageTatsumaki> He lets go of the Wolf, going instead to the other options, wondering what he can do without money.
  92. [10:40] <theDM> You click the deploy tab.
  93. [10:40] <theDM> Oh look!
  94. [10:41] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan looks.
  95. [10:42] <theDM> There are four large machines labeled "Cruxtruder" "Alchemiter" "Totem Lathe" and "Punch Designix."
  96. [10:42] <kageTatsumaki> Are they the free.
  97. [10:42] <theDM> There is also a punched captchalogue card
  98. [10:42] <theDM> All except the Punch Designix are free.
  99. [10:44] <kageTatsumaki> He doesnt know any of these words, but Jikan doesn't mind free things.
  100. [10:44] <kageTatsumaki> He drops all of them on the outside.
  101. [10:44] <theDM> The Cruxtruder is a bulky, square machine with a tube on top. The Totem Lathe is a long, thin machine. And the Alchemiter is another large, square machine, but it has a tall tube on one of the corners instead of the middle.
  102. [10:44] <theDM> Arkham hears three heavy thunks outside of her new house.
  103. [10:44] <Arkham_Echpea> "hohh!"
  104. [10:45] * Arkham_Echpea abandons the PHB and goes to check out the noise
  105. [10:45] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan still does not know how to contact lady in screen..
  106. [10:45] <kageTatsumaki> Does Jikan see anything else that is interesting?
  107. [10:45] <theDM> You see three large machines and a captchalogue card with several holes in it.
  108. [10:46] * Arkham_Echpea turns to her fairies
  109. [10:46] <theDM> You see several new machines once you deploy the free ones, but they're extremely expensive.
  110. [10:46] <Arkham_Echpea> "wokay whhat doh youh thhink weh shhould doh?"
  111. [10:46] <Arkham_Echpea> hokay*
  112. [10:46] <kageTatsumaki> He keeps digging to find some way to make money.
  113. [10:47] <theDM> Arkham's fairies just look at her. Her favorite seems upset at something.
  114. [10:47] <Arkham_Echpea> "whhat's wrong?"
  115. [10:47] <theDM> Suddently, she hears a large crash, fairly far away from where she is.
  116. [10:47] * Arkham_Echpea jumps again
  117. [10:48] * Arkham_Echpea then goes to see what that was, too.
  118. [10:48] <theDM> Before you can do that, you hear several other crashes, this time much closer to your home.
  119. [10:49] <Arkham_Echpea> "hohh, hit's part hoph thheh game. hokay don't worryh heveryone hit's hokay"
  120. [10:49] <theDM> Your fairies seem upset my the crashes.
  121. [10:49] <kageTatsumaki> Wait so..
  122. [10:49] <theDM> Your favorite is staring at the machines
  123. [10:49] <Arkham_Echpea> "noh noh hit's hokay"
  124. [10:49] <kageTatsumaki> The fairies are just animals?
  125. [10:50] * Arkham_Echpea goes to the closest machine and pats it. "hhere seeh? nothhing dangerous"
  126. [10:50] <theDM> It makes a hollow thunking sound when you pat it.
  127. [10:51] <theDM> There is a wheel on the tube in the center.
  128. [10:51] <theDM> You also see a timer on it.
  129. [10:51] <Arkham_Echpea> "hokay, soh... weh shhould doh thheh game"
  130. [10:51] * Arkham_Echpea tries to spin the wheel.
  131. [10:52] <theDM> roll STR
  132. [10:52] <Arkham_Echpea> !roll 1d20+1

  134. [10:53] <theDM> It twists a little bit before stopping.

  137. [10:53] <theDM> Jikan shoves his broom and knocks it over.
  138. [10:54] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan, having done the ceremonial thinking shove, listens to the accent of the Lady, and then looks at the text box from his Friend.
  139. [10:54] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan reaches the conclusion that they are one in the same!
  140. [10:54] <Arkham_Echpea> "hokay can hanyone hhelp meh withh thhis?"
  141. [10:54] * Arkham_Echpea looks to her fairies.
  142. [10:54] <kageTatsumaki> KT: Friend.
  143. [10:54] <kageTatsumaki> KT: Friend is Lady?
  144. [10:55] <kageTatsumaki> KT: From the Purple Planet?
  145. [10:55] * Arkham_Echpea is busy with the machine, and has left her computer behind
  146. [10:55] <theDM> Your favorite comes forward to twist the wheel.
  147. [10:56] <theDM> !roll 1d20+1
  148. [10:56] <NotTyche[Dice]> rolled 1d20+1 --> [ 1d20=18 ] | {19}
  149. [10:56] <theDM> The top opens, shooting out several purple cylinders.
  150. [10:56] <Arkham_Echpea> "thhank youh!"
  151. [10:57] * Arkham_Echpea hugs her favourite fairie
  152. [10:57] <theDM> A flashing orb also comes out of the top, and starts to follow you around.
  153. [10:57] * Arkham_Echpea gasps. "more phairies!"
  154. [10:57] <theDM> The orb flashes at you.
  155. [10:58] <Arkham_Echpea> "hhih!"
  156. [10:58] <Arkham_Echpea> "we're thheh phairieh queen! hour name his harkhham"
  157. [10:58] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan picks up the pond.
  158. [10:58] <theDM> It flashes at you more. It looks like it wants something
  159. [10:59] <theDM> The timer ticks down to 7:00
  160. [10:59] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan wishes to pick up the pond.
  161. [10:59] <theDM> Jikan fails to pick up the pond.
  162. [10:59] * Arkham_Echpea offers it some of the flowers from her sylladex.
  163. [10:59] <kageTatsumaki> Jikan picks up the water.
  164. [11:00] <theDM> It absorbs the flower, taking them from your hand. It now displays a picture of three flowers instead of the spirograph it showed before.
  165. [11:01] * Arkham_Echpea claps a little bit. It's so rare that fairies take the initiative to decorate themselves with her flowers.
  166. [11:01] <theDM> The orb flashes at the purple cylinders, and you hear several more crashes.
  167. [11:01] <theDM> One of them hits just outside your home
  168. [11:02] <Arkham_Echpea> "hohh! hokay soh whhat doh weh doh now?"
  169. [11:02] * Arkham_Echpea looks at the other machines, which might have more fairies trapped inside.
  170. [11:02] <theDM> The orb darts between the cylinders, the punched card, and the long, thin machine
  171. [11:03] * Arkham_Echpea gathers up the cylinders and the punched card, then brings them all to the lathe
  172. [11:03] <theDM> There is a slot that looks like it would fit a captchalogue card, and there is a place to put a single cylinder.
  173. [11:04] * Arkham_Echpea puts them both in the places they look like they'll fit. The cylinders can take turns.
  174. [11:05] <theDM> The machine reads the card, then carves a strange design into the cruxite.
  175. [11:06] <theDM> Your orb flies to the final machine and starts to flash by it.
  176. [11:06] <theDM> A meteor crashes down just behind your house, and the time ticks down to 5: 37
  177. [11:06] * Arkham_Echpea gives all the other dowels their turns in the lathe, before eventually bringing them to the last machine
  178. [11:07] <theDM> The last machine has a platform for a cylinder to stand.
  179. [11:07] * Arkham_Echpea puts them on, starting with the one she most recently carved with the lathe. It had to go last, so now it gets to go first.
  180. [11:07] <theDM> 3: 23
  181. [11:08] <theDM> The machine scans the carved dowel and creates a purple cage from the same material the cylinders are made of.
  182. [11:08] * Arkham_Echpea gives the rest of the dowels a turn
  183. [11:08] <theDM> There seems to be a fairy inside.
  184. [11:09] <theDM> The machine scans the other dowels, but does not produce anything.

  186. [11:09] <Arkham_Echpea> "haww, don't worryh, hit's hokay"
  187. [11:09] * Arkham_Echpea finishes consoling the other dowels, then goes to see the cage. Is it open, and is anything inside?
  188. [11:10] <theDM> It is closed, and there is a little fairie inside.
  189. [11:10] <theDM> It looks like it wants to get out.
  190. [11:10] <Arkham_Echpea> "hhih!"
  191. [11:10] * Arkham_Echpea waves at the fairie.
  192. [11:10] <theDM> It flutters near the edge of the cage
  193. [11:11] <Arkham_Echpea> "hokay let's just get youh hour hoph thhere"
  194. [11:11] <Arkham_Echpea> "sillyh phairieh getting stuck"
  195. [11:11] * Arkham_Echpea opens the cage
  196. [11:11] <theDM> The door is stuck.
  197. [11:11] <theDM> You'll need more force to open it.
  198. [11:11] * Arkham_Echpea frowns at the door, and tries again.
  199. [11:11] <theDM> Two minutes remain on the timer.
  200. [11:11] <theDM> Roll STR
  201. [11:12] <Arkham_Echpea> !Roll 1d20+1

  226. [11:15] <theDM> You manage to pull the cage open, but you collapse half the cage in doing it.

  230. [11:16] <theDM> You see a meteor coming right for your house.

  234. [11:16] * Arkham_Echpea tries to pull the fairie out

  239. [11:17] <theDM> Together, meteor crashing toward you, you manage to pull the fairie out just as the timer hits 0:00

  241. [11:18] * Arkham_Echpea , if she still can, uses Help Protect on her favourite, to give it 1 temporary hit point.
