Evilagram: that's the thing, speedrunning and racing recontextualizes EVERYTHING

Evilagram: so if volt uses his speed powerup, everyone becomes faster?

Evilagram: meaning he could only do it if he has a lead, and perhaps dependent on terrain
AdamTM: but only in his vicinity

Evilagram: so he can only do it if he's ahead or behind

AdamTM: though, a 50% speed boost might make players flip out
Evilagram: or if his opponents aren't moving in a way where they could benefit

AdamTM: decide if to pick up energy drops even if it slows you down
