  1. [22:59:32] <~Aori_Radidjiu> May 5th. 3 PM. After a series of sample taking and putting analyzation routines in motion, we have a Med and a Lecia (and a Murphy) all in an underground base. Getting all the results is going to take a while, but Lecia has something else up her sleeve to pass the time!
  2. [23:05:39] <Lecia> While one can call it to 'pass the time', it's still test related. ...Sort of! It's enough for her to say it's test related, at any rate! "Alright, that should be all normal testing. But there's one other thing that I'm curious about. This is the fun part!" She walks over to the 'closed chamber' thing mentioned earlier, and gives it a few solid taps. It opens, revealing a...few beds?

"I'll make you stay awake!" 20 flusters. ...She's probably joking about the being awake thing. ...And since there's at least 3 beds in there, it doesn't seem like they'll be sharing a bed either.

  10. [23:13:09] <Lecia> "...You seem puzzled, so a surprise it is, then! Don't worry about being tired, the machine should take care of that too! ...If the bed doesn't, anyway. It's snugger than it looks!" And it looks pretty snug. "Anyway, you first~"

  22. [23:32:53] <Lecia> "I'm not sure where they came from! ...Here, anyway. In the games back home, it was just a game mechanic." She shrugs!

  24. [23:34:10] <~Murphy> "The science of it has to do with the energy fields in Pokeballs, and having too much of that stuff in too small a space, I believe!"
  25. [23:34:38] <Lecia> "Pokeballs are still confusing."
  26. [23:35:39] <~Murphy> "Definitely. Anyway, go get yourself figured out at a PC and then we'll hop to this!"

  28. [23:38:31] * Med gets up to go to the STRANGE PC
  29. [23:40:53] <Lecia> The strange PC hums ominously. "Er, that's the one I was building while trying to figure out how those work. PROBABLY shouldn't withdraw anything from that one."
  30. [23:41:44] <Lecia> "At least I know how Porygon work. ...Though if I through any 2's in there, they inevitably become Z's."

  32. [23:41:57] * Med GOES TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER PC!!

  36. [23:44:38] <Lecia> Lecia heads out! The staircase goes back up when she heads out, leaving Murphy totally stuck in there for the time being if he didn't follow, unless he knows how to get out. A turn here, turn there, another turn, past the kitchen, to the left to the left, to the back now y'all, there, PC in the hall! "There we go~"
  37. [23:46:04] <~Murphy> Murphy decides to patiently wait things out. Even if he's stuck, he knows Lecia wouldn't keep him there forever

  40. [23:52:33] * Med with all the sadness a half-demon is capable of feeling, stores Batsy in return for Fuzzy.
  41. [23:53:42] <Lecia> And when she seems done, back to the room where she once again paces IN A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT WAY, causing the SECRET STAIRCASE to appear once again!
  42. [23:55:27] * Med follows again, as Roara finishes getting food thus ensuring his full attention will be on the game now!
  43. [23:55:35] * Med totes lets Fuzzy out, too.
  44. [23:58:31] <Lecia> And back down there to the MAIN LAB with the beds~ "Whenever you're ready, have a nice nap~"
  45. [23:58:54] * Med TIME TO CUDDLE IT UP WITH FLUFFERS AND FUZZY
  46. [23:59:00] <~Murphy> Fuzzy stretches a bit, and then lays down on the bed with Med once they get there and gets ready to SNUGGLE
  47. [23:59:52] <~Murphy> Murphy's already on a bed, actually taking off his jacket for once. He looks a bit smaller without it.

  49. [00:01:24] <~Murphy> "Naw, figured it'd be better not to sleep in my coat."

  52. [00:02:30] <Lecia> "Coat~" And thankfully, what Lecia's got on right now can be slept in well enough, so she IS ALSO ON THE BED.

Even if you're not usually tired, you're pretty tired. Unless you don't WANT to be tired, but doesn't everyone here want to be tired?

A town of festive lights and multi-tiered buildings with many balconies and all sorts of people, all engaging in drink and song and dance. A town of never-ending parties and revelry! It's a little weird though, as everyone is wearing the same outfit, no matter whether they're male or female, and

  60. [00:15:39] <~Murphy> Med is dressed in a simple onepiece dress (and nothing else) that shifts color and shape and size and texture as she moves. Not only that, but it seems that as her dress shifts in appearance, everyone in the town has their clothes shift to match. You'd think that it'd be just that Med's wearing the smae thing as everyone else, but 1) Murphy and Lecia aren't wearing those, and 2) the

  62. [00:16:28] <Med> Is the dress different and merely matching what everyone else is wearing, or is she A TOMATO TOO?!
  63. [00:17:11] <~Murphy> Lastly, but only because it's something you'd notice more specifically after you notice the generalities, is that there are distortions in the place. Some buildings have holes of nothingness in them, some areas are full of static, and some people shift into blobs and strange forms as they do things.
  64. [00:17:26] <~Murphy> Her dress is different and merely matching.
  65. [00:17:48] <Lecia> "Ahhh, it's always nice to--wait this isn't quite right." Lecia seems...dressed in the same outfit that she was dressed in during that opening ceremony? "...Well, it seems normal! ...Ish! ...Whoa, it's like the distortion world up in here."
  66. [00:19:28] <~Murphy> Murphy is dressed similarly to how he usually is, but his clothes have stylistic rips and tears along the edges, and he seems to always have a bit of dramatic wind on him. His hair has also changed, somewhat, as he has white hair with a black stripe near the middle rather than solid black hair, and his eyes have gone red and the pupils catlike.

  68. [00:20:32] <~Murphy> Turning around, rather than just Fuzzy and Fluffers, ALL of your Pokemon are behind you.
  69. [00:21:08] <Lecia> Ah, right, and Lecia's hair is a bit of an even BRIGHTER purple. "That said, welcome to the Dream World! It's...usually a lot less messed up, but I suppose this is to be expected, too!"

  72. [00:24:49] <~Murphy> Perfectly. Looking closer at Knives, you notice that all of his body's armors is actually embellished and engraved with emblems, making him look rather regal, and he's even got a crest of feathers coming from his head.

  74. [00:26:28] <~Murphy> Also of note is that Fangs is dressed in a wedding dress!

[00:30:21] <~Murphy> "Now, Med, these aren't quite accurate to what your Pokemon are in reality, they're not quite the same Pokemon, as the Human and Pokemon dream worlds aren't quite compatible. They're more like copies made from your memory, with some aid from Lecia's machine to make them more accurate to the real Pokemon, and actually are more like how you think of htem rather than their actual selves!"

  78. [00:31:38] <Lecia> She nods! "...Wow, it's kind of hard to get my bearings in here when everything's all messed up! You probably like these kinds of places normally, but now, who knows! Still, an adventure is an adventure, and you can lead the way! Unless you're not in an adventuring mood for some reason!"
  79. [00:32:15] * Med runs over to her mons, her dress totes shifting all along the way. "Not real?"
  80. [00:32:58] <~Murphy> Knives gives a formal bow in response, and Fangs gives a nod, straightening her gloves and dress.
  81. [00:33:43] <~Murphy> "They're part of you! So here, they're as real as your own arms and legs."
  82. [00:34:46] <Med> "But they won't remember anything that happens in here - and they're not really them?"
  83. [00:35:03] * Med studies her mons, attempting to ascertain whether Murphy's right or not!

  85. [00:37:25] <~Murphy> "That's correct!" None of the mons seem all that different, despite some embellishings and stylizations of their bodies. Chomps is much more ragged and has a sort of rough outline. Fluffers seems a bit bigger and has droopier eyes. Batsy is constantly radiating hearts. Among others. Behaviorwise, though...

An outsider, who isn't the one conceptualizing them, might be able to find differences, but for you it'd be really difficult. Also! Lecia has a way to give your real pokemon memories of what happened here, so by all means

  94. [00:41:31] * Med holds out her arm for McMillions to perch on her shoulder. if she were still capable of empathy, it'd probably accompany an empathic question of whether or not McMillions wants to do so, but that's no longer possible :(
  95. [00:42:08] <Lecia> "Mmmhm! They might not be here, but I can make it as close as it can possibly get! Even though things are kinda screwy here. I think I can still manage it!"

  97. [00:43:34] <~Murphy> McMillions perches on your shoulder almost reflexively. Her hat has gotten bigger, and seems to resemble a castle now, however that's possible, with some lights on in some parts of the castle.

  99. [00:45:29] * Med totes pets the McMillions, looking around.
  100. [00:45:53] <Med> "Where do you think we should go, Knives?~"
  101. [00:46:39] <~Murphy> Amidst all the buildings and parties and the like, there's a few streets, several open buildings, and a horizon that seems much more blurredo ut than it should be. Knives ponders and then eventually points to a street to the left.

[00:51:52] <~Murphy> Going along, the street goes pretty straight, and there are people dancing, people making and selling clothes that all are the same outfit (although it's changing to match yours), the occasional person who seems to have melted and is jerking around strangely every now and then, someone who's dancing upside-down without any concession to gravity, and eventually a small cul-de-sac with
  105. [00:51:53] <~Murphy> groups of people partying, some talking at tables, others talking excitedly or dancing, and some others shying away in the corners. At one of the tables is one of the few denizens here that don't seem to fit in.

  107. [00:55:53] <Lecia> "They probably wouldn't be normally, but you're perceiving the Dream World a little...strangely! And since we came in with you, we're perceiving it strangely too!"

[00:56:09] <Botherbutt> What you come across, Med, is a woman who you'd probably place in her mid-forties, wearing a large straw hat and dressed like a little old Gennisian lady whose fashion sense came from colonial times or something of that nature. Before her is a rather large book, which she seems to be reading from to a Ducklett and a Mawile wearing a pair of socks that look like Christmas stockings.

  110. [00:58:00] <~Murphy> "The Dreamscape usually doesn't have many distortions like the ones it has right now in it! Like the upside-down people and the holes in the walls and the l- oh hello!" Murphy gives a greeting to the woman at the table.
  111. [01:00:07] <Lecia> "Hi Swanna! I brought a friend over, this time!" Lecia doesn't come to the dream world TOO frequently unless she actually ends up here by dreaming normally. When she comes in with the machine, she's generally geared up to go on a FUN ADVENTURE because she doesn't get enough of those in the real world.
  112. [01:01:35] <Botherbutt> The woman looks up to Murphy, then takes a pair of spectacles and moves them from in front of her head to atop her straw hat as she moves over to give him a hug. "Why, hello there, Murphy! And Lecia, too!" She moves over to give the little robot warrior princess a hug, too. "It's so good to see you both again!"
  113. [01:02:28] <Botherbutt> The Mawile turns her head, and upon seeing Lecia, instantly perks up tenfold more than it already was! It does a tumble backwards, starts up a handstand, and walks over to Lecia on its hands, waving its little footsies at her to get her attention.
  114. [01:04:08] <~Murphy> "I don't count as a friend?" He gives Lecia a poooout, but goes back to his usual neutral smirk pretty quickly. "Good to see you too, Mother Swanna. We're here mostly for this girl here, to see how the dream world reacts to her. SORT of on here on business, if you want to put it that way." Murphy doesn't show up quite as often as Lecia, partially because Lecia's been jacking herself

A handshake is offered to you as well, though not even a moment of awkwardness of hesitation at the mention of being a demon. "I see you've already discovered the potential of your imagination here in the Dream World~" ...

  135. [01:13:24] <Botherbutt> A Whismur passing by pulls out a drumset and does a rimshot before going off on its merry way.
  136. [01:13:29] * Med does that thing that made Murphy TURN HIS GLASSES OFF IN MILD DISGUST again.

  138. [01:15:32] <Botherbutt> Mother Swanna looks perplexed for a moment at the mention of this 'demonstration.' "... Am I going to need my glasses for this?" She starts looking through a purse for her glasses, though to no avail.
  139. [01:15:52] <Lecia> It was MESSING WITH HER OWN DEMON AURA IN DISGUSTING WAYS. Though being the dream world, one wonders if it would have the same effect!
  140. [01:15:54] <~Murphy> Essentially shifting her soul around ina way that's really unnatural looking to anyone who looks at auras. I previously described it as being like tearing your arms off and putting them back on the opposite sides.
  141. [01:16:14] * Med looks to see if it has any impact on the DREAM WORLD AROUND HER.
  142. [01:16:23] <Med> or even her own form in said dream world.
  143. [01:22:23] <Botherbutt> Mother Swanna staaares. ... Though squinting really hard--It's kind of difficult for her to make anything out without her glasses. Then it seems as though a lightbulb goes off. The expression on her face instantly transmogrifies to one of exceptional worry, as her hands jump back to cover her mouth, eyes wide. "Oh, dear! Oh my! Goodness, Med, I'm so sorry!"

  145. [01:23:41] <~Murphy> You can't really see what you just did, and Murphya nd Lecia can't seem to see it either, but off to the side one of the partiers sees it and pulls up a bucket to puke into it.
  146. [01:27:35] <Botherbutt> "You're... You're the same as Shadow Pokemon... Yet you're... You're..." She seems a bit lost for words right this moment. The fact you're perfectly okay with it's more what's got her lost than the fact you are.

  148. [01:31:31] <Botherbutt> "I... I see..." Mother Swanna tries to recompose herself. "... I suppose the first thing we'll need to do is check the Book. ... Though I really do need my glasses now..."
  149. [01:31:59] <Lecia> "This is the kind of confusing stuff that science has to help answer! From what I can see, it looks like the shadow part is the cause for why we're seeing things funny. Probably other things, too!"
