Well, I received my Airspy yesterday.
Shipping and packing was good, and I received it when they said I would.

I installed the latest version of SDR#, and plugged the Airspy in.
Airspy self installed (I am Using W7 Pro) (NO Zadig needed here.)
I started SDR Sharp, chose the Airspy option, and BINGO! There it was at 105 MHz.
I tuned it to a trunked system at the local airport (KPHX) and BANG! I was listening to my sons loading aircraft.

I use a PAR FM band Block filter, and a Scanner beam.
I have used several RTL dongles from Nooelec, and there is no comparison.

With the Dongles, there was a readable signal but a lot of noise.
The Decimation control on the Airspy allows me increase signal strength, while decreasing the apparent noise level. This is much like the old time radios with switches and knobs.

The Best surprise is that it compares very favorably with my other scanners and radios ranging from the Home Patrol all the way back to my old FRG 9600.

It was worth waiting for the Airspy. They seem to have taken their time, and produced a wonderful device.
