  1. A few months ago my computer broke. It looks like this http://goo.gl/f6iU3 now in case you were wondering. I recently got a new computer with vista and I've been using it for about two months now. I basically use it for gaming because games run more efficiently in windows for me. However, I would like to start using linux again. I took all the stuff I needed off of the hard drive from my broken computer (320 gb) and it is empty. I would like to transfer everything from my windows hard drive (os included 160gb hd) and put it on my 320 gb hd then install ubuntu right alongside windows so I don't have to switch hard drives every time I want to use a different os. I tried copy and paste like a n00b and that didn't work so I'm wondering if there is a way to do this.
