  1. I wanted to give something back to the community, so I've decided to right a book, a stratagem of sorts, to help you survive in the vast wilderness that is Roblox Forum (RF). I'll be adding chapters when I can be аrsed, feel free to add your own tips, though they'll probably suck in comparison to mine.
  2.
  3. Anyway, Chapter 1 is one big illustration, and here it is. The key to posting!

  7. As you can see approximately 85% of topics on RF belong in OT.

  11. CHAPTER 2: Choosing your personality
  12.
  13. So, you've figured out where to put your posts, thanks to my fabulous first chapter. Well, now you need to decide on your persona. (Note to most of OT's girls, this chapter is not all that important to you, no one cares about your personality, just like real life!)
  14.
  15. If you're not sure where to start, try being snide, it's easy, and makes you look cool. Tips for being snide are to lay on a thick dose of sarcasm in replies to posts, try to put down the OP. A great way of doing this is to end your sarcastic retort with '/sarcasm' this has the bonus of making you look tech-smart, as well as subtly suggesting the OP is not smart enough to understand you're being sarcastic. Subtlety is the true key to being snide.

  17. Another way to go would be to try to please everyone, I'm not sure what to call this, so I'll go with 'the pansy'. To be a good pansy you must be kind to everyone, no matter how idiotic they are. When the inevitable fights break out you should be first in line to hand out the internet Valium. Admins will sometimes try to act like this, but this is really just a show, inside they wish they could just ban everyone.
  18.
  19. 'The nerd' is quite an advantageous personality, I mean, you're on a forum. Good topics for discussion are: how ASCII art is more expressive than conventional media, Video game music - better than Mozart, and of course your favourite internet browser rendering engine (Yay webkit!).
  20.
  21. To be a good 'smart-аss' is difficult, get it wrong and you look the biggest idiot going, get it right and soon everyone will be praising your intellectual prowess. A good place to start is to point out mistakes in previous posts, don't try too hard by pointing out factual errors, it's best to stick with spelling errors to start. Then move on to grammatical mistakes. No one is respected more than a grammar nаzi, that's why they're named after one of the most popular groups of all time.
  22.
  23. A fanboy is a common and intriguing occurrence, no one can say for sure what goes on in the heads of these people, but it should be easy enough to mimic them. Some people are fans of certain games, or particular products. Fanboys take the next logical step, and worship the corporation. To act like a fanboy simply choose a company, learn the names of the CEOs, and proceed to offer your аnus in servitude.
  24.
  25. Try and establish a unique personality trait so people remember you easier. Special needs like autism, hоmоsеxuаlity and African-Americanism will make sure you stand out from the crowd.

  28. CHAPTER 3a: The major players
  29.
  30. The first rule of war is to know your enemy. Here, your enemies are the staff that try to keep this "cеsspit" running smoothly, and occasionally their love-slave forum mods.
  31.
  32. Builderman: Runs the site, should not cause you any trouble as he is currently missing, presumed dead. Has been agreed upon by most of the community that he shot himself upon seeing what his glorious lego ripoff has become.
  33.
  34. Telamon: Currently the most experienced, active admin. Once again, should not cause too much trouble as he spends most of his time snorting cocaine off of brighteyes' ass. It is unknown at this time the exact amount of money he makes by laundering BC, but it is rumoured that he recently purchased an island somewhere off the coast of Australia.
  35.
  36. MSE6: Another highly experienced admin, she will defend the forums with the passion that only a hobo defending his liquоr can muster. Is generally in charge of keeping OT from melting down and destroying its self.
  37.
  38. Brighteyes: a fairly new admin but adjusted to the job quickly, despite the initial challenges that people of certain genders face.
