  1. Hey :)
  2.
  3. Just wanted to say good job on the show, and keep it up! I started watching a few months ago as my desire to drift from Windows as my main home OS becomes more well entrenched due to the update issues in Windows 10. As a prime example while updating Visual Studio recently, the machine restarted itself to complete the update without my permission... Really bad form but thankfully I didn't lose much work. Linux has been fine on the whole as my laptop OS, but the more stable and centered design philosophy of FreeBSD/TrueOS might well be the winning argument. I'm looking forward to 11.0 (I resisted d/l until it's on the main site for d/l) as hopefully it will play more nicely with my Broadwell based laptop than 10.3/PCBSD 10.3 does.

  5. I'll slip in a question for the show too as I didn't hear it come up this week - LLVM and the proposed change to Apache licence; I gather OpenBSD is going to drop the tool chain if this happens. Will this affect FreeBSD/TrueOS too?

  7. Thanks again for the show,
  8. Tony
