Any creature within 15 feet of the Dream Harvester Spawn that is sleeping or unconscious must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or take 16 (3d10) psychic damage and have their maximum hit points reduced by the same amount. The Dream Harvester Spawn gains hit points equal to the damage dealt.

  30. Dream Eater. Whenever the Dream Harvester Spawn deals damage to a sleeping or unconscious creature, it regains hit points equal to the damage dealt.

  32. Nightmare Storm. Once per day, the Dream Harvester Spawn can create a 30-foot-radius field of dark energy that lasts for 1 minute. Any creature that starts its turn in the field takes 11 (2d10) psychic damage and must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned until the start of its next turn.

  34. Engulf. The Dream Harvester Spawn can move up to its speed and enter the space of a Medium or smaller creature. That creature must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be engulfed and restrained by the Dream Harvester Spawn. While engulfed, the creature takes 22 (4d10) bludgeoning damage plus 11 (2d10) psychic damage at the start of each of the Dream Harvester Spawn's turns.

  48. This CR 5 spawn version of the Dream Harvester retains some of the original abilities but is toned down in terms of hit points, damage output, and challenge rating to be appropriate for lower-level encounters.
