  2. >you have my sympathy that you can't organise your time well enough to be doing all of the duties a minister would need to do
  3. If you think you won't have to prioritize projects that shows that you don't really understand how much rests on your shoulders, and how much needs to be done within the city. If you're running on the platform that you'll get everything done all at once then that's borderline dishonesty.
  4. >I was instead comparing and contrasting what I ran for compared to the other candidates.(ie: not just you.)
  5. But that's empirically incorrect, You talk about an infographic that I only I have, you talk about "social networking" in mumble, what I would call hanging out, which only I do since bernard and tran (the only two other people running) don't even have microphones. You talk about how you already work on what your "opponents promise to do later", which could only apply to me because I'm the only one with an actual states platform, and no one else could have promised anything.
  6. >In fact if you really see it as that much of a threat that I'm running different plans to you perhaps it's because you're not confident in your own ability to run infrastructure.
  7. I am more than confident in my ability.
  8. >I would mention that for all your talk I haven't seen you do a single demolition, activity check, help newfriends find plots, or...
  9. You don't know what you're talking about, I said in the post that you're directly responding to that I had been doing demolitions and activity checks before stopping to build the mall, due to the aforementioned priorities.
  10. >... to be honest, seen you anywhere besides you clubhouse with your emerald studded buddies thinking up new ways to swell your personal wealth ...
  11. What is my clubhouse? The mumble we're all hanging out in? The mall I'm building mostly out of my own pocket, to the point of having almost no individual wealth with what little I do have left planned to go towards materials for the mall? Who are my emerald studded buddies, the citizens of Viridian who are helping me build the mall? Who are donating resources to me now that my funds have run dry out of the kindness of their hearts? Or does that refer to the emerald syndicate, the chanada-wide group that manufactures XP using the vast manpower at their disposal to sell to the citizens of our city and others at extremely discounted rates?
  12. >... through the creation of ties with redditors- individuals I personally think might not be the greatest kind of people to associate with.
  13. Why would you attack me for associating with redditors? The fact that immelol pointed out that your party effectually endorses the goyim district is essentially moot when you consider the party you're running under is very lenient when it comes to their stance on redditors, especially when stacked up against the Sadfert party.
  14. >forgot to mention, for a full list of my platform points you will be able to look at the wikia I'm creating for the nation of Viridian, which I will uphold with or without my being elected,
  15. I'm glad you're contributing to Viridian in ways outside of the jurisdiction of the position you're currently running for.
  16. >Less focus on getting redditors into our city through big shopping projects, more in getting channers into our city...
  17. The mall project, which is backed by your party regardless, was assigned to me under last terms Chancellor and will remain my project regardless of the election outcome unless a vote is passed to have me taken off of the project and to have it cancelled, seeing as I'm not even currently Minister of Infrastructure.
  18. >...with more infrastructure for getting newfriends plots, a point woefully absent from current protocol.
  19. If you'd read my "fancy infographic" you'd know that new infrastructure for newfriends is a major point in my platform.
  20. >-A transparent system for the times of activity checks and demolitions, giving more information to the masses and disbanding the air of nepotism for the minister's friends on mumble as it might be if we don't.
  21. This is a very good idea because it allows people to see what activity checks are being done, and maybe speak up if they know that person to be active lest their house be demolished, but the implication that there's an "air of nepotism" to what houses gets demolished, a fabrication in line with my "emerald studded buddies" and "lined pockets" is completely unfounded.
  22. >-A plan on the creation of a more in-depth online mapping system with road names, farm and infrastructure positions, and a system by which anyone, be they newfriend or oldfag, may be able to (if they wish) note down where they live on this online map, making it easier to find where they live.
  23. You'd might want to bump the cartography thread.
  24. >Well I don't think the "happy merchant" platform works when no-ones seen you actually do any work on infrastructure,
  25. How could I be a happy merchant when I sell no goods and have no personal wealth? The only way someone could have not seen me doing any work on infrastructure is if they weren't looking or lying, seeing as I'm the driving force behind the redesign of South Viridian, the fixing of it's misaligned plots, and the construction of it's new mall. I'm not sure if you were around for the previous iteration of south Viridian and it's mall, but it wasn't very practical of functional much less pretty.
