  3. The Noble house of Zephos has served the empire for generations and Edward is no exception. Just as his father and grandfather before he is an idealist who truly wishes for the empire to remain not only strong but fair and just. They are always researching into methods of safeguarding the empire as a whole but have found their efforts hampered endlessly by their fellow lords and their quests for power. Edward plans to continue to serve the empire faithfully while seeking a way to safeguard his own territory and his people against the predations of the other lords. He has a young son named Daniel but his wife is deceased.

  9. Before the empire claimed it the island was named Babylon and it was the seat of a great rival power, but that was long ago. When the empire defeated Babylon they placed Edward’s ancestor, Edwin Zephos as the lord of the land as he was the General that saw Babylon dismantled. As a reward for his loyal service the Island was renamed and awarded to him. Sixteen generations later and the Zephos family has done everything in their power to have a good quality of life for their uniquely diverse populous, a result of the island being a former seat of power. The once dissident civilians and nobility of a former great power are now quite content under Zephos rule. One of the Island’s main attractions are the many ancient and mysterious ruins that dot it’s landscape drawing adventurers and historians alike into their dangerous depths…
