- So let's get your Hovel whipped into shape.
- First off, if we're doing this, it will be made of Clay. Not Dirt or any other pansy block. CLAY.
- Second, it needs to be at least 6 blocks long by 6 blocks wide.
- #pgx1
- Now Clay isn't the strongest building material, but it should be enough to shelter you while you get your strength back.
- The ceiling should be 3 blocks from the floor. That's 2 blocks high, just enough for you to stand up straight, and then the ceiling.
- #pgx2
- Like I said before, Clay isn't the strongest. SO. If and when your Hovel stretches more than 3 blocks from a wall, it will need a support.
- If you use Clay to support it, you need a 2x2 pillar. If you don't want to use Clay, you can use Logs. BUT--
- #pgx3
- But if you use Logs, this is the only time this stage you can use them, clear? Don't want your scrawny little back giving out on us.
- If you want to use a Log pillar, it only needs to be 1x1
- #pgx4
- Now this Hovel is going to be a home, not just a hole in a dirt mound. So you're going to build a double door, and you're going to wire them up to either a Wood button or Wood pressure plate.
- We are civilized. Even if we are living in Clay at the moment
- #pgx5
- I also want you to build a 2 long by 2 wide bedroom. You're going to put a bed in there, and you're going to LIKE it.
- Somewhere else in your Hovel, I want you to put down a Crafting Bench, and a Double Chest.
- #pgx6
- And for some finishing touches, add some 1x1 holes to let some light in.
- #pgx7
- Now, once you're feeling stronger, you're going to be needing some wood. Like, a LOT of it. Because between you and me, you're going to be getting visitors. And a lot of them are going to stay.
- Your path to your Kingdom starts here.
- #pgx8
- So. In preparation for all the building you will need to do, you'll need supplies:
- Get at least 64 Logs.
- If you have more than one type of useable (not Dead) wood available, try to get at least 3 of each kind of Log.
- #pgx9
- Also, get 32 Plant Seeds for edible plants. You're going to need to feed yourself and the others somehow.
- If you have more than one kind of seed available, try to grab at least 3-4 of each.
- #pgx10
- And while we're on the subject of things making other things grow--get some saplings. At least 32. Again, if you have a variety available, try to get at least 3-4.
- Except the Rubber Trees that stick up at the top. Those things are so rare. Get 1.
- #pgx11
- And, last but not least, we'll need some Wood Planks. At least 128 Planks. Again, variety is the spice of life. Try to get at least 8 of each kind of wood you have available.
- #pgx12
- Now, I know you're eager to get going, but remember--no tools. You have to keep your strength up. You want to craft stuff? Fine. Let me make a list of stuff you can craft.
- #pgx13
- Bed
- Crafting Table
- Wooden Door
- Wooden Button
- Wood Pressure Plate
- Item Frame
- Torch (Rubber Sap)
- Leather Helmet
- Bowl
- Forester Backpack
- Hunter Backpack
- Adventurer Backpack
- #pgx14
- I've gabbed long enough. Get your scrawny butt up off the dirt and get to work!
- .......Good luck, kid.
