Back in Déman, Fiiru had almost died in an assassination attempt due to her powers. As a daughter of a "famous maid family", Lynette was skilled in things such as poison tasting, and Fiiru only survived because of her presence. Because of that, Lynette felt that Fiiru needed her more, and as such, made the difficult choice to stay with Fiiru instead.
