I registered for the account - I was having a poke around, trying to find out
how to contact you.

I look after matters of copyright for IOP Publishing, a scientific journals
publisher based in the UK.

I have noticed that you are hosting a number of articles from IOP journals on
your site.

Most of the articles are protected by copyright and we do not permit them to be
published elsewhere.

We are happy for the abstracts to be posted along with a link, via DOI, to the
version of record on IOPScience.  We would also be happy for you to write your
own precis of the article's content, in order to add context.

Additionally, you are welcome to repost any article published on an Open Access
(OA) basis.  Our more recent OA articles are published under a CC-BY licence
(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/).  Older articles are covered by
the CC BY-NC-SA licence (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/).

Most OA articles are clearly marked with a red OPEN ACCESS tag (see eg
http://iopscience.iop.org/0957-4484/23/40/405708).  Unfortunately, though, we
have not yet integrated the machine-readable CC licence element.  This will be
implemented soon.

I would be grateful if you could remove all non-OA articles from your site.  If
you would like me to provide you with a list of the relevant articles and URLs,
I would be happy to do so.

I do hope to hear from you soon, confirming that you have received this email
and giving a date by which the articles will be removed.  In the meantime, if
you have any questions, or if you think we are mistaken in our belief that your
use constitutes infringement, please feel free to contact me using the details
below.  I should say at this point that if we do not resolve this issue within
14 days of the date of this e-mail then I may have no option but to pass this
matter to IOP's Legal Department.  I do hope that this will not be necessary.
