  1. Catch And Evolve
  2.
  3.
  4. Catch and Evolve is a fan-made tournament tier in which a player will be given a random pre-evolved pokemon to participate with by the host. The player will then battle the opponent’s randomly selected pokemon, and the winner will then obtain, or “catch” the opponent’s pokemon. You then have the choice to “evolve” one of your pokemon. You will continue to do this throughout the tournament, and those are the basic rules. Also, you can only “catch” one of the opponent’s pokemon, and you can only “evolve” one pokemon per match.

  12. Participants
  13.
  14. 1) When you’ve joined a C&E tournament, you must PM the Organizer of the Tournament to give you a starter Pokemon. Do not make assumptions and randomize your own Pokemon.
  15.
  16. 2) You must build only the Pokemon assigned to you by the Organizer of the Tournament. Using Pokemon other than what the Organizer assigned to you is considered Cheating.
  17.
  18. 3) When you win a match, you must choose one of your opponent’s Pokemon to add to your growing team, then choose ONE from your newly formed team to evolve.
  19.
  20. 4) You must play your battles in a gamemode other than Custom Game and by the Organizer’s Choice. This is to prevent EV cheating and minimize disruptions and problems during the tournament.
  21.
  22.
  23. Organizers
  24.
  25. 1) Please Approve your Tournament before hosting. Unapproved Tournaments risk warnings and mutes from the Staff Members of The Tournaments Chatroom. In order to approve your C&E Tournament, You should ask a Ranked user for approval. Ranked users have (+, %, @, #) at the start of their names, and are always on the top of the list.
  26.
  27. 2) As the Organizer, you cannot join your own C&E Tournament. This is because of multiple instances of organisers cheating in their own C&E by giving themselves a strong Pokemon or simply advancing themselves up the ladder without any legit battles.
  28.
  29. 3) Please do not give out Joke Pokemon to any participant. Joke Pokemon are Pokemon that are too weak in terms of stats or movesets to show an effectiveness in battle. This is a very important rule for all Organizers. I will be providing you a list of Joke Pokemon later on.
  30.
  31. 4) Organizers must not disclose any Pokemon a certain Participant have to another participant. While this rule is not that known to everyone, it should be highlighted as it could bring upon an sneaky and unfair victory for the participant that know the list of pokemon.
  32.
  33. 5) Make sure the number of participants in a tour is 4,8,16,32, 64, 128. It must be perfect number as there will be some people with opponents in round 1 and some will have a bye which puts them at a disadvantage.

  60. Region & Monotype C&E
  61. Certain C&Es will feature a Region or a Monotype as a gamemode. The Region’s C&E / Monotype will be decided by the Organizer usually. This is one of the easiest game modes to achieve since every Randomiser allows the Organizer to pick a region or typing with ease. Mono region or Region refers to the region in which the pokes came from ie hoenn, kanto, johto etc. Monotype refers to one common type that will be used by all participants of the tour.
