But Siné will intercept the party before they do, offering rewards for their previous service. Each party member will receive a blue essence (2,000 gp), as well as access to a small extraplanar room via magic item that only the party members and Siné can enter. These items may be used any time outside of the Dimension of Dreams to allow entry and can also be used to request a meeting with another holder of the item. Vanessa may trade her blue essence for Siné to craft her legs from dreamstuff - modelled after Obliterator's skeletal legs - which will allow her to walk but at the penalty of moving at half speed and cannot charge.

Speaking of Morriamne, she has taken her usual, reserved spot of sitting in front of the fireplace, leisurely swilrling around a tall glass of purple liquid. Upon the seat behind her sits one of her dutiful daughters, hands politely placed atop a book placed in her lap. Across the room, Suhl squints at the party with his milky white eyes. What a lovely family gathering. How do you choose to ruin such peace, dear party?

As it shifts in its sleep, its armoured, jagged scales shimmer between hues of blue, black, and purple. Peculiarly, some of its horns are cracked and aged while others are freshly grown and whole. With every, quite audible breath, small trickles of sand are blown through its nostrils. Beholding such a giant beast of destruction is quite unsettling to say the least, rendering even the bravest of you uneasy in your core.

  299. Multiple players may contribute toward answering a riddle within the timeframe, but they will all suffer the penalties if it is incorrect. The original answerer MUST be the one to give the answer, which has to be in quotes, though. Each question has three attempts.

  301. Success grants one point toward lowering the ward. Three points are required to disable the ward, although that is not told to the players and all riddles are thus asked regardless of number of correct answers. Getting all five points will grant the players the Sphinx's aid later on in the world.

  303. Failure inflicts any of the answerers for that question with a negative level as well as a rolled curse from the drawbacks table of cursed items, which may be rerolled if it is not appropriate.

  328. Living Rune challenges the party to use the power of words to defeat it. A Nosoi is at hand to grant each of the players a scroll that they can use without rolling - this scroll can be of any spell level up to the number of riddles correctly answered. It uses the lower spell level of the full caster that can cast the spell, where applicable. If the players correctly answer all five riddles, they each gain an additional scroll to use. Clues as to which spells will be effective may be granted by either the Sphinx, the Nosoi, or Jovian.
