  2. Level 1- Backwater. Your troop limit is roughly 1800 men. Cavalry count as 2 men. Additional Backwaters increase the troop limit by 200 each.
  3. Level 2- Maintained. Your troop limit is roughly 3600 men. Additional Maintained provinces increase the troop limit by 400 each. Required Buildings/Upgrades: 3. Direct Threshold: 7
  4. Level 3- Prosperous. Your troop limit is roughly 5400 men. Additional Prosperous provinces increase the troop limit by 500 each. Required Buildings/Upgrades: 5. Direct Threshold: 9
  5. Level 4- Industrious. Your troop limit is roughly 7200 men. Additional Industrious provinces increase the troop limit by 600 each. Required Buildings/Upgrades: 7. Direct Threshold: 11
  6. Level 5- Metropolis. Your troop limit is roughly 9000 men. Additional Metropolis provinces increase the troop limit by 700 each. Required Buildings/Upgrades: 9 Direct Threshold: 14
  7.
  8. INCREASING TROOP LIMITS:
  9. Food Buildings increase the limit by 200 each.
  10. Certain “technologies” count as food buildings.
  11. Trade agreements increase the limit by 150 both ways.
  12. Certain other buildings (ports, mustering grounds) can also increase the troop limit.
  13. A fishing fleet increases the troop limit by 400.
  14.
  15. INCREASING INFRASTRUCTURE:
  16. Natural Increase: Constructing buildings builds up the infrastructure of your province. Once a certain number of buildings has been constructed, the Infrastructure will naturally increase and stay that way for so long as the buildings still stand.
  17. Direct Increase: You can also directly increase your infrastructure through rolls. The progress needed to do this is equal to the Direct Threshold. Directly increasing your infrastructure is much faster than building multiple buildings but because there is nothing to fall back on, you must continue devoting actions to maintaining the infrastructure of the province as time goes on.
  18.
  19. LOSING INFRASTRUCTURE:
  20. Infrastructure is temporarily lost due to RAIDING, NATURAL DISASTERS and SABOTAGE.
  21. Infrastructure is permanently lost due to RAZING and CRITICAL SUCCESS ON SABOTAGE.
